Nick's CD is awesome! He's proved to many people that he's a great artist on his own. He's always had my full support. He's an awesome artist and I hope he continues to fullfill his solo career and also his career as a Backstreet Boy!

I really like Nick's new album because it was something new and different than just the ordinary love songs he usually does. I loved how he wrote lots of the songs and his rock guitar in "Girls in the USA". "Miss America" is a really cool and sexy song and "Is it Saturday Yet?" is fun to dance to. I love "I Got You" a lot too. The titles of the songs are kind of cheesy but the songs themselves are really good. I can tell he worked really hard on it and I really do think he deserves a lot more respect than he's getting for his first solo album. I think everyone shouldn't judge his album by just "Help Me" and actually listen to the album before they go trashing him for leaving bsb to go solo. 5 stars for Now or Never!

i love nick

I think that Nick's album is awesome!! I am sooo proud of you nick writing 50% of the cd!! Good for YOU!!!!!! :D I hope that Brian is still not mad at you because he should be very proud that his own buddy has his own solo cd and that he wrote half of the songs on it too. Anyways... I am in love with the song, "Help Me"! But then again who isn't!! ha ha :D

NOW OR NEVER REVIEW

Let me start off by saying, I am not a teenybopper very far from it. I am a music major and music is my passion. I have always loved BSB from the start, from their beautiful harmonies to their fun rockin' out sing along to their CD songs. I have always been drawn to Nicks voice and the passion he puts behind it so I was looking forward to his CD release.

I have to say, over all I think it is a very good mix of songs and I love the more rock aspect of it as well. The songs I was most impressed with was not what I think most people would choose I love #8 and #9 I thought they had a much more mature sound to them and the rock aspect of #8 "Blow Your Mind" is just great, my personal opinion is I would have loved to see this as his next single, instead of "Do I Have To Cry For You" I think that song is really O.K. but I think alot of people will put it off to a Bryan Adams knock off and put off as, I've heard almost this exact tune before, and not really pay attention to it.

I really feel that "Blow YOur Mind" would have been different enough that it would hve really gotten peoples attention to want to buy his album, if they weren't already fans, to see what else he had to offer vocally. "Miss America" I thought was just an amazing song and it really speaks to your heart about how you want your guy to view you, very sensual and very mature, I love the way Nick sings it.

Anyway thats my view as I see it. Keep up the good work with your writing Nick I feel it will keep getting better and better and will eventually, in the not too distant future, reach the amazing mature level of writing that you want it to be. Thanks for the great gift of this album Nick it is greatly appreciated by your fans.

Love,

MJG

My thoughts on "Now or Never"

Well I bought the CD last weekend, and like every other Nick Carter/BSB fan I was very excited. I got it for only $14.00 at Best Buy. "Help me" was already my fave song along with "My Confession" Nick combines pop and rock on these songs and it sounds great. "Do I have to Cry for You" is a nice love song. Nick changes his tone of voice for this one and I personally really like the change. "Who needs the world" is also great along with "I got you." However, even though I will forever be a Nick Carter fan, I gotta say that some of his lyrics in songs such as "American Girl", and "Is it Saturday yet?" are pretty corny. I of course will still listen to them because the song itself is good, just not the lyrics. "Blow Your mind" gives me an 80s 90s vibe that is't too enjoyable. "Heart without a Home" is nice if you listen to B101. "I just wanna take you home" is also very good but it sounds like it has a punk vibe to it. This CD is great for Nicks first try but I would've liked to see him pick a certain type of rock and stick with that instead fo changing from Bon Jovi to New Found Glory to Aerosmith. All the same, no matter how much you pay for this CD there's still some great eye candy thats well worth the price.
