I love bsb. will always love them, but i was very dissapointed when i saw the new video of drowing. I mean i know that some of yall have to agree that there videos are just too simple. i think the video drowning could have been a lot better, they could have had some special effects are someting. an i was so lookin forward to the rain part. don't get me wrong i still liked the video just extremely disspointed, i hope their next videos don't be as simple. Howie and A.J were still lookin fine as ever.and i loved all their parts but i really loved kevin part espcailly when he was like "love me mouth to mouth". well thats my review, if any of yall agree w/ me about the video or just want to chat just send me an email.

Ok....OMG! What needs to be said...this song rocks! That's all that needs to be said, that and the Backstreet Boys are the best guys in the world and I would not be able to live without them. I think drowning is amazing, it describes all the lovers feelings around the world, and it has amazing meanfull words..no one can deny that.
i'm very happy to see this band that we grow with theire songs, keep with them step by step, song by song..after that you feel that you are part of them, feeling sad when they are, happy when they are feeling happy...i can't say anything more: keep going Nick, Brian, Kevin, AJ, Howie, we all love...and keep drowning me in your love!

First of all, drowning is a great song that would melt the heart of any young or old fan (cliche or not). And like some of the others have said about Chapter 1, MJ doesn't have one song or album that can compare. BSB is in, MJ is out. I do know from reading the biography section that some of the BSB's do like MJ and think that he's just great and all and even I must admit that I like a few of his songs. But, I personally think that he is sort of weird. And besides that he does not have nearly the presence, looks, dancing ability, or vocal talant that BSB does! They should be proud that so many fans think that they are the best in the world(even over MJ)!
I don't know about the rest of you, but the article about the psychic predicting a BSB breakup really upsets me. What right does this person have to say things like that about anybody. BSB is who they are for a reason and they got here by sticking together, not dumping one and finding the next best replacement. BSB would not be the same group if they did not have AJ, Brian, Kevin, Howie, and Nick! None of them is replaceable!
What does everyone think about extending the BSB pride phrase for the next chapter of the BSB's. Here in Oregon, there is a phrase for the OSU Beavers that states "Be a Beaver Believer". Perhaps this is corny, but what if we change it to "Be a Backstreet Believer" or "Be a BSB Beliver".
In any case, Keep the Backstreet Pride Alive, Be a Backstreet Believer, God bless America and God bless our Backstreet Boys!

Back to my review, Drowning is not the type of song one would lay down his daily peanuts for. Oh no. It is little more than a mediocre piano ballad. I'm telling you honestly, there are piano classics, and there is the cloned, polished and produced 'pop formula' (*cough*crap*cough*). this record proves undeniably proves the latter. my uncle the unicycling baboon could do better than this bubblegum claptrap.
I've lived a great many years, and i've seen all the greats - The Sex Pistols, Nirvana, and the Backstreet Boys. And they have all had their nemesises: bossy wives and drug addictions. And on top of that, BSB have brought out a less-than-top class record.

Hey guys I LOVE drowning! It's an AMAZING video!!! Nick looks sooooooooo INCREDIBLE, he's sooooooo AMAZING :) I can also picture loving NICK mouth to mouth!!! I LOVE HIM and I ALWAYS WILL :) He has ALWAYS looked GREAT and he ALWAYS WILL :)
The song is AMAZING, the boys did it again, but it's no surprise because they ALWAYS AMAZE us!!!!! Backstreet Boys forever :)

Drowning is a perfect video of a ballad. it´s really deep because they do it from the heart.
it´s amazing how much power each of them give in that song. you can feel the passion.
they focussed on singing , brilliant ! why should they dance. it wouldn´t fit to that song.
the guys themselves said that this is a bridge to the next chapter. in addition it shows
what they´ve done in the past. it´s a kind of résumé.
can´t help it , i need to hear it again and again and again...

Backstreetboys are back!!!!!!!! I love there new video, " DROWING", It's like a mix with " IWITW and SMTMOBL. All the boys like hot.Howie omg, can he get any cuter with his new hair cut.A.J amazing voice is back he sounds like he can be a country singer, his voice just sounds sooooooo good. Brian, what can I say about brian? He still the same and voice also sounds amazing. Nick is looking better and better,and getting older too. but that's ok.Kevin he gotten better with his voice too, he really hit the high notes real good. KTBSBPA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think 'drowning' is an absolutly brilliant song!I love the BSB so so much i think they can sing and dance better than any body else!!!I love that the boyz all get to sing and the video is absolutly amazing i never knew that men could look so good(until now of course)I hope the backstreet boyz grow old singing cause i dont know what i'd do without them!!I LUV BSB!!! from bec in ireland.

Where do I even begin to start with Drowning? To put it in one word it is AMAZING! First of all, the writer's use of imagery in regard to water really makes the song come alive, to reach the listeners mind and heart. When I listen to it, I can really picture loving Nick "mouth to mouth"-sorry had to put that in.
Brian's voice is so crystal clear, as always, AJ's voice adds the right amount of soul to the song, Kevin's and Howie's voice reach the very high and low notes perfectly, and Nick, well, what can I say? He is just simply irresistable in every way. All together, these five distinct but amazingly similar voices complement each other to make up a #1 song that is both classy and one that will stand the test of time. How could anyone, even someone who doesn't like BSB, not be drawn to Drowning? Eveything BSB does so well and is known for is magnified in this song.
As for the video, the only words to describe it is less is more. Yes, the video highlights what they do best-make music. I think this video truly shows their maturity, that they have grown up and HELLO!!! has Nick grown up-YEHAW! They don't have to have all the glitz and glamor to make their video get noticed. They got down to basics in this one and really, for a true BSB fan, who needs anything more then simply the five of them in any setting? Let me just say that Nick singing by that cement pillar and going nuts is simply......well, incredible!
Love the song, love the video and I encourage anyone who has had doubts about BSB to take a listen and just see how worthwhile it really is.
BSB, you guys rock. Nick (a.k.a Kaos, Frack)-you have no idea how unbelievable you really are. Keep on shakin' that booty of yours and hopefully one day we can meet!
