OK, OK, I know I'm responding to this one really, really late. But hey, when you have a job, it's tough to get on here all the time. Anyhow, I just wanted to say that I'm SO GLAD that the guys chose to release SMTMOBL as a single from Millennium b/c I hold that song very dear to my heart. Beginning last year, I had some very big personal problems, and I went through a long period of feeling very very lonesome. This song spoke to me. It made me feel like someone understood what I was going through. It's very rare that you find some one or something that you can relate to. I, for one, believe that music is the language of emotion. If you think about it, every song conveys an feeling or a message. BSB speaks to me. OK, I know I'm rambling....but I just wanted to comment...I'm really glad that SMTM was a single. Thanx for listening!

Yeah, I think the SMTMOBL video has a deep meaning to our Boys. That's the reason they made the video the way that they did.

First, well, Brians part was obvious, it was about him having his heart surgery back in May 1998. It reflects on how short life is and to live it to the fullest. Because Brian himself realized that.

A.J's part is about his break up with Amanda. They went out for a while, and I heard that they broke up, so that's what I thought it meant.

Kevin's part in the video was about when he lost his father to cancer. He was just thinking back to what it meant to have his dad around and how much he misses him.

Howie's part was about his sister Caroline passing away to Lupus. I think it reflected how much he wanted to be there for her but she just kinda faded away fast, like in the video.

Now, Nick's I am very confused about. Because he didn't really have anything "bad" happen to him during 1998 (Their year in Hell) So, I think it could reflect how they lost Denniz Pop because his name is on the bus, and the way he pulls the girl away from the bus almost hitting her, I think it was a way from saving Denniz. I guess it could reflect how he wishes he could have saved Denniz, so by helping the girl, he was, in a way helping Denniz.

I am glad they did a video like that. It proves to the non fans that they do have big hearts and care about the people around them, and that they aren't just in it for the money, like every non BSB fan thinks. The first time I saw the video I caught on right away what it was about. It has a special meaning to the boys and they themselves say it's hard to preform that song, because it is about the special people in their lives.

Anywayz that's what I think the video means

thanks

Christina

The SMTMOBL video was very touching. Brought me to tears. Brian because of his heart surgery, at the age of 23 (THAT'S YOUNG). Aj because because his girlfriend died in a car accident when he was 13. Kevin watching videos of him playing with his late father. Howie almost getting to hang out with his sister before she died. Nick symbolizing death and people's fat. Don't forget the bus saying Denniz St in honor of Denniz PoP.

I think (because it's for Denniz Pop) I think that it's about not knowing what to do after the death of a loved one.

Meaning they don't know how to move on. Also feeling isolated from other's around you. But that's just what I think.

I think that the video to Show Me The Meaning Of Being Lonely is the best they have ever done. When I saw it for the first time it brought tears to my eyes. Each boy had their own scene based on their lives.

Kevin- his scene is about the death of his father and how he misses him as he watches old slides of the two of them

Brian- Brian is looking back on his heart surgery and when his heart stops its from when he was a child and his heart stopped for a little while

Howie- Howie sees his sister who died of lupus back in 98'. He is in a coffee shop and he sees her.

AJ- in this scene AJ is on a bus. His scene is based on a girlfriend of his that died in a car/bus accident a while ago, I think when he was 13. And also, the scene is based on the death of Denniz Pop, whose name is on the bus.

Nick- I'm not sure about his scene. He saves a girl from getting hit by the bus AJ is in. I heard that's because a girlfriend of his was killed by a bus but I'm not sure if its true.

In all the scenes, except for Nick, there is red. The red stands for lonelyness. AJ has red hair, on Kevin's jacket there are red stripes, there are red stripes on the hospital walls where Brian is, and in the coffee shop there are red. The candles that the woman lights outside the hospital are red, I think. Anyway, the video is da bomb!!!

I think the explaination to this video is best known from the guys whom made the video. I don't want to say sumthing that's totally out of line and has nothing to do with the video. so all i'm gonna say is this....

SMTMOBL is the best video any band/group has ever made b/c no band/group ever made a video that touched so close to home. I would also like to thank the guys for sharing a "part" of their personal lives w/ us. We all know that they can not tell us. But they choose to.

THANK YOU!~!~!~!~!~!

Show Me the Meaning is a very symbolic video. Brian touches on his heart surgery, Kevin the loss of his father, and Howie the loss of his sister. I'm not to sure about Nick and AJ. I think I heard one of them say that their parts weren't really covering something in particular. I love the video. The whole video is dark and the Boys are by themselves until the end. At the end they all come together and walk into light. The light can represent anything...hope, the future, moving on from past tragedies, etc.

here's the meaning of show me the meaning..........

Kevin- he's in his lil room, watchin videos of his father, for him it means the loss of his father

Howie- he's in a coffee shop and see's his sis and for him it means the loss of his sis

AJ- Aj is in the city bus, and he is lookin back on his gf who died in a crash involvin a bus, also for him the loss of denniz pop, as u can see on the bus he's headin to Denniz St.

Brian- For brian he's in a hospital, and brian is watchin brian in the hospital and thats brian lookin back on the time he was in the hospital w/ his heart surgery

Nick- for him he's walkin down the street savin a girl. From what i've read on other web sites is that he lost a gf or a really good friend in a car accident.

And in every guys part they are wearin red except for nick (i think) the reason they are wearin red cause red symbols lonliness and i heard the reason nick isnt wearin red because he hasnt had tragic stuff happen in his life to make him fell lonly. But kevin has red on his jacket, Howie has red stuff in the coffee shop, Aj has red hair, brian has the red line in the hospital.
