Hi Aj!
I got very sad when I heard the news about you. How depressed you are and that you're in rehab. Im sending you all my positive energy and strength with this letter cause that's what you need. Just hang on and think of all the good things in life. You have your family,who truly loves you, you have all of your friends that supports you, and you have all of your million fans,friends,admires all around the world who cares a lot. And you have a wonderful gift called life. The Lord gave you a blessing with your voice to change and inspire the world. Your songs and voice helped me thrue a lost. I heard that it got worse and you got more depressed after the death of your grandma. I lost my "grandma" early last year. She wasn't my real grandma but it felt like she was. She was so nice,truly an angel on earth. She was an angel but GOD and Jesus needed such a beautiful and kind angel by their side so they had to borrow her for a while. It's the same with all the wonderful people that passes away. It's for the greater good. But they never really die because they will always live on in our hearts and in our memories. Offcourse the pain is still there in the beggining but it gets better after a while. You are one of the reasons that I got better. You, your voice and group. I've been a fan for a really long time and your song "Show me the meaning of being lonely" told exactly what I felt at the time, you know when my "grandma" passed away. After singing and hearing that son a couple of months it actually got better. Your group and music is my inspiration in music, understand?! You see, you have so much to fight for. There are many people that feel the same way as I feel. All of us wants you to get better because you're a precious gift to life and the music industry and that shouldent come to waiste,now should it? You have a long life ahead of you and you're the only one who can decide if its worth fighting this thing for. If you ask me I think you have a lot to fight for in rehab, its time for you to win the battle with all your demons and become the funny, young, talented and happy man that you used to be. I wish you all the best with that and as I said before I'm sending you all my positive strength and energy cause I want you to win your battle! I hope and allready know that you're doing much better and I wish it stays that way! While I'm at it I would like to say thank you for giving me the inspiration to follow my dream as a singer. I'm currently a member of a duo and your group is one of the main reasons that we continue to fight for a record-deal. We've been at it for three years. That's great considering my age, 15 in September! I've always had the rhythm, song and music inside but I was to shy to share it with someone but now I'm prepared to share it with the hole world even to you! That should make you a little happy, knowing that one of your fans plans to make it! That should give you something to look forward to! I really hope that the Backstreet Boys continues to be the Backstreet Boys cause you make a difference with your voices and songs cause theres a lot of people out there waiting for your albums and concerts! I wish you all the best! I hope you can happy again infact I think that you're going to be very happy! I wish your mom, family and friends all the best! I love your songs. Hey AJ,I hope you get better soon. Don't worry about the Backstreet Boys tour getting postponed for you,the fans will wait as long as you get better. We don't care if we have to wait until next year for it to get going again. You are well worth it.

Every day I hope you're getting stronger and healthier. I wish you the best. Dear Sweet cool funloving Aj McLean.
I know that you may not be able to read this or get to a computer yet' but know I do love you and would like to let you know that I understand depression and alcohol problem you have.
Because I have depression and I cope with it by singing and writting in my journal and I also talk to my grandmother and my friends about it and the reason why I understand the alcohol problem is because my uncle Bill is a recovering alcoholic and so is his brother and that is why I understand the alcohol abuse.

Hi. I know that you are a super busy guy, and it's my guess that you will never even see this email.

I love you and so does everyother BSB fan out there! We want you to get better and we care so much about you! I am praying for you everyday to get better. I know it's very hard to overcome depression and alcohol consumption, but I know that you can do it! I believe in you! You were very smart for telling the boys (BSB) about your problem and wanting to get help for it! You inspire me everyday to forget about what anyone says and just fulfill my dream to become a singer. You are a wonderful man and singer. Please just remember that each day you wake up, you are inspiring many many people to do their best in what they love and you are making their day when you go up on stage to perform. I've been the same thing as you Aj because i never had a dad when I was growing up. And I also lost one close to me. So you should look it like this. You have a lot of fans that is there for you . YOu have the guys that you can talk to . You are a great guy. Your nice and sweet. If I was you , I would write a song about your grandmother and about how she means to you. If she died from a disease. You can do a foundation. You have a great voice. You should put goals that you want to acheive and work on it. So I hope that you be the old Aj that make me laugh went he sing in the begin of the song Larger Than Life.

Hi, A.J! Recently I have learned(found out), that you started to abuse alcohol, and I very much was afflicted with it!
But I hope, that it also you soon will pass will return to a normal way of life. You very good person though I also do not know you personally. Very much it is pleasant to me, as you sing! And me it will be insulting, if the group will lose such voice! Know, that everyone experience for you! We love you! Your voice is given
To you the God, and you should them value, as the most expensive(dear) treasure! You are remarkable, you should win bent for to alcohol! You should not throw group, career because of it!
