AJ,At this very moment I am proud to call myself a Backstreet Boys fan. You are so strong. The hardest and biggest step of getting help is helping yourself. Realizing that you need it and stepping forward. I understand that this experience has nothing to do with AJ, the bad Backstreet Boys that we all know and love. This has to do with Alex, the person. You are human, and we know that. Take as much time as you need and get better. You have millions of people cheering for you. We love you. And dont ever forget it.

You are doing the right thing by getting help. Admitting that you have a problem is the first step to recovery. We hope to see you here in Dallas on Aug.31st. Please know that the boys and all of your fans are behind you all the way!!!!

AJ, it was very strong of you to do what you did, and as a bsb fan I can say that we, the fans are behind you all the way until you get better. I am glad you did the right thing before it got any worse. I can't say I KNOW how you feel or whatever, but I can partially relate, but not from my own experiences. MY prayers are with you.

Three years ago I was watching my best friend's life waste away right in front of me. She was not only addicted to alcohol- but pain pilss and cocaine as well. She refused help, so one day at school when I could tell how close she was to dying I finally took it upon myself to get her help. If I hadn't done that- she would not be here now.
A.J.- I respect you so much for realizing your problem. You are one step ahead of most people! Now you just have to conquer the problem. I wish you all the luck in the world! Because I know that this is not an easy step.

I really appriciate what you are doing. Though I can't exactly say I know what you feel like dealing with the alcohol, I do know what you feel like with the depression. Just know that all Backstreet Boys fans are standing behind you 100%, and we'll be there when you're ready to come back. We love you, AJ! You're making the right move, and hopefully it'll help you. Best of luck, and thanks for showing the world that you're strong enough to make the right decision in getting better.
