Dear A.J,
First of all I want to say to you, that I am so proud of you of checking yourself into rehab, not many people admit to themselves and to their friends that they need help, but not you, You had the courage and the unbelievable strength to face the problem head on, and for that i have a tremendous amount of respect, and admoration for you. As a matter of fact you happen to be my favorite backstreet boy, my best friend, her daughter and I went to the concert on July 7th in Boston, and we left there in such a daze because we were amazed and shocked... the concert was unbelievable, we payed a lot of money for our tickets and it was deffinetly worth the money!!!!. to this day we still talk about the concert.. and we are going again on sept.8th, because we bought tickets from the people who returned them to ticketmaster..... we just cannot get enought of you guys.... no matter what you go throught i will always love you guys, because you bring new meaning to the word music...... thank you for the best concert ever,, AJ you are the best and you are in my prayers..... god bless you!!!!!!!!!! take care.

let me start out by saying that I am so proud of you for realizing that you have a problem! You are so strong and i know that you can get through this! Let all that backstreet pride show aj! Dont worry....were not upset about the postponement of the tour...we are happy that you are getting help. I would cancel my concert if it was for your health. The other guys r upset...nick was crying on mtv!
also i am gathering names n message of ur supporters which i hope to give to you at my concert (if neyone is interested on being on the card please e-mail me ur name state n a message for aj...put the subject as aj ty)

First off, I want to congratulate you for knowing you had a problem, and taking action. That is the first step to recovery. I have been a BSB fan for eight years. I have looked up to you and envied you for that long also. Any person who can do the things you do, wear what you wear, and get as many tatoos as your body can handle is sooo great! You have a great personality, and its not like you are untouchable and nothing can happen to you, cause you are a human like the rest of us! I wish you the best of luck, and you have all my love. Dear AJ, I was in bed one morning. And I was listening to the radio. And then I heard the ppl on the radio say "Aj Mclean is in rehab for alcohol abuse" I was shocked so I immediatly went to this BSB site and got the info about it. I starter to cry to wonder if you were gonna be ok.It scared me to death. As I read about it...i realized you had problems, and the rest of BSB were right. They could have easily said that you had a broken leg or something. But they told the truth. And you know what AJ? I am so proud of you. And my friend who is an Nsync fan, she said you were a bad example. But you know what I said?
I said "How do you figure he is a bad example? He didnt lie to the world,and he addmitted he had a problem,if you ask me I respect him more now." And all she said was "whatever" . I think I proved her wrong.My mom is proud of you too......she is like a big fan of yall too. and also aj, i have praying for you every night. I have much faith in you.Aj some advise,maybe you shouldnt drink anymore.So you dont scare us again. Stay strong. A.J.This is the hardest thing you will ever have to do in your life. Getting over an addiction is not an easy thing to do, but if anyone can do it, it's you. Please remember people make mistakes and if this stint in rehab does not work, please don't think you let anyone down. Just keep trying. It will be hard but you will do it. Never give up! Always remember no one is perfect and we all make mistakes it doesn't matter if we are a nobody or a member of the BSB. Good luck and much love and respect go out to you.

I'm 19 years old, as a person who has dealt with depression and anxiety before, I don't want you to resort to suicide. Three years ago, I was a 10th grader in high school, I was teased and bullied around to the point of committing suicide, but the only thing that stopped me was every single BSB CDs that have, from the self-entitled album to Black&Blue, I've listened to every song over and over until I realized that every BSB song was my solution to my depression and anxiety, my final statement is this, "Stop and think of what you've accomplished with your 4 BSB brothers and as an individual because no one can take that away from you, and as a BSB fan, I sent to you my very best wishes"....

For A.J. I wish him nothing but the best. I have been a fan for over 5 years now. When I found out about A.J., I was devestated. But then when I calmed down I knew it was for the best and I was and still am proud of him. Pretty much everyday I have prayed for him and I know he will be fine. I am even more proud and honored to be a BSB fan now more than ever. Because they were advised not to come out and say anything, but since they had the love for their fans, they did come out and say that A.J. had a problem. I truly believe that BSB are perfect despite everything that has happened. Everyone has their ups and downs and this just shows that they are only human and are capable of mistakes, but in my eyes they are perfect.
