I know how hard it is, and I care...alot. Not just as a fan of your beautiful music, but a friend, it seems sort of like I know you, but I have never met you before. AJ, we know it's hard...it's very hard... you can get through this..you can make it better. Tears even form in my eyes..you of all people, have to go through this problem... I understand harder than ever now. Please, AJ, try to stop with all your might,with all your heart, with all your love of music..please, come back with the wonderful music you have given us overs the years of Backstreet-fanism..and, the depression will just make it worse...remind yourself of all the great things you have accomplished. You recognized your problem and are taking steps to fix it: that is a very commendable thing. Most people with depression and alcohol abuse don't realize their problem until it's too late. I hope that you get better soon--not because the fans need to see you on-stage or hear your voice singing our favorite Backstreet songs, but because I, as well as the Boys, your family and the rest of the fans, care deeply about you and want only the best for you. I've been though depression myself so, I know what you're going through and I know it's not easy. Reading all these wishes over and over again...lol. But you gotta remember, we're doing this for LOVE. WE love you, even though u might not even know some of us. I am going through somewhat of a depression phase and what Kevin said today on TRL touched me very personally. He's right, if AJ, a well known star, can get through this and get the help he needs. So can I. I'm praying for him everyday to help him fight these battles and win the war. Everyone pray for his health and to give him the strength everyday to get better. Just minutes ago, I was desperately spreading the news of what's just been told to the world, and this one girl said that to me. In a way, it's true. I'm deeply saddened by this, and I send my love and support along with everyone else. It's another hurdle that you will pass, and know in your heart that we fans are behind you all the way. It's horrible, it's shocking-but it makes you human. Because that's what you are-a person, and people encounter and survive these things.
