Dear AJ,
I am sooooo sad to hear what you are going through. But I am really glad that you stepped up and said you needed help. I am praying for you 24/7, so you are in my prayers and thoughts even after you get better. I mean after I heard the news on TRL and seen Kevin start to cry I was just so heartbroken and then they played that clip of you singing. When you started to cry I just broke down in tears b/c I hate it that this is happening to you, but I know that you will get better soon. Just know that your fans will be praying for each and everyday for your recovery. You can pull through this!:)

if you have ever had depression before you might no that it is really hard to stand up and ask for help. i admire him so much for that. so many things led to his depression.. amanda, his grandmother, always being away from home.. that just a couple. i always knew that he was depressed and i wa sok with that b/c i was too. brian helped me out of that depression, but i am afraid i am falling into it again for multiple reasons. today, to hear and see my boys literally crying on tv made me break down. i still cannot liek see the screen. people say i have a flare for writing n that my words always touch ppls hearts.. i wrote a poem inless than a minute becuase so much emotion and feeling went into it. i wish he or one of them could read it.. here it is:
as i sit here in front of the tv screen,
i no thru my blurry eyes,
the only thing i can see is you
memories of sadness and bunched into a thought
thoughts of happiness scarcley fluttering around
where will this all end?
will our love succeed?
will i still be left standing at the end?
your happiness is all i want..
and for that id give my soul
sharp pains of thought kill my heart,
but you are the only ones still standing strong
tears of lifeless thoughts cloud our minds

Maybe I nor any of the Backstreet Boys fans can understand what your going through and maybe some of us are proud that this is the decision that you made and that when you did make this decision you are willing and ready to take care of yourself and put less pressure of what you are going through. Though when i did find out it was very tearful i cried but then that’s when I tried saying to myself" He will be all right, he will be all right" and once you do get over this abuse and depression you'll know that no matter what you do all the Backstreet Boys fans will help you along the way and hopefully your fellow band mates, Nick, Brian, Kev and Howie are also willing to help you. I have been your fan ever since you guys came out and all I’m going to do and what I’m going to do as long as I remember you guys is to support all of you...and it doesn’t matter who my fave bsb is because this group that you guys have formed are the Backstreet Boys not just "brian" or "nick" which means by helping one Backstreet Boy I am helping the whole group. AJ I wish you the best and that you had the strength to come up front about your problem and that everyone may help you through thick and thin.
AJ, I and the rest of the bsb fans hope u recover soon so that well see 5 guys performing as a successful group!!!I love all of you!!

Dear AJ, No one can really know 1st hand what you are going through, but you aren't alone, you never will me. We (each and every1 of your fans) loves you. Who cares if the shows are canceled. It's just money. I would rather have you okay. This isn't some celebrity, it's you. You made the fans feel like they were your friend, your family member and thats how we are seeing you right now. I hope that you are doing well. I just want you to know that I am glad that you all have decided to go public with it instead of lying about it. I have sooooooooooo much more respect for the group because of your honesty. So please be strong and never give up. I love the song that they played on the end of the TRL show that aired today.It was very beautiful. I just want to leave you with one of my favorite bible scriptures. Aj, there is nothing I can think of to describe him.. he is so awesome. I have been a fan of the boys for nearly 6 years now ..as long as I can remember! Seeing the boys like that on TRL made me realize how real this is, and how it isn't a thing about the Backstreet Boys as a pop icon, this is about Aj Mclean and four of his best friends. This is real. It's very scary, but I know that AJ will get through it. He is a strong person, and really good at heart. Aj, we love you so very much, and I will pray for you, your family, and the other boys. I love you all! Aj, I just wanted you to know if your reading this that me and all the other fans are here for you and we want you to get better. Don't worry about the tour or anything. Just get better. backstreet boys mean the world to us they are our life they are our everything...and since aj is going through this problem we are affected by it greatly...we hope that he gets through this hard time he has all of our prayers,support and LOVE because it takes 5 to make BSB...no matter what choices they make we'll bw there for them...ALL of them!!!!!!
