I am a huge fan. I am 16 from Pittsburgh. I have attended three out of your four concerts in Pittsburgh. You have made a huge difference in my life. You, as an individual, showed me to be my self through music and everything I do. I was actually in the beginning stages of depression and you as well as the other guys helped me out of it. I am praying for you to get better and to be healthy. We understand any desicion you make as long as you are healthy. I cant believe A.J is going through this, and I am very sorry he has to go through it. I would like to say to AJ that faith is everything, and as long as he knows he can, he will. Everyone has their demons, but not everyone can admit when they are too powerful to overcome on their own. So many celebrities, especially in the music industry, let themselves be destroyed by drugs and alcohol. I, for one, am just relieved that AJ decided to seek help before he joined the list. As for the rest of the Boys, they are truly great friends, standing by their fallen comrade in his time of need. There are millions of prayers going out for AJ tonight and every night until he has truly won this tremendous battle. If AJ is reading this now I just want to let you know that we are all behind you and wish you the very best now and in the future. I have always thought you were a good role model for people of all ages, so when I found out today about how you’re getting treated for depression, alcoholism, and anxiety I was shocked, but i wasn't disappointed in you and I didn't lower my standards of you...actually I think you are brave. I too, had an alcoholic problem, when I was 14. I had to go to AA meetings, for 6 months. It is very hard to overcome, but in the last 3 in a half years, I’ve made wonderful progress. Like you, I also have a depression problem, I was diagnosed Bipolar, and manic depressive. Everything that I have gone through is somewhat similar to what you’re going through now. I completely understand and give you moral support, as well as stand by you and the band, through your trials and tribulations. I’m here for you everystep of the way, supporting you, in you’re recovery. Hopefully everything goes right for you, and always remember that there’s a brighter day!!
