But when i saw Kevin, Nick, Brian, and Howie i knew it was something horrible. When they finally said what happen i was in SHOCK. You think how can something like this happpen to someone you saw grow up in front of you for over four years you think its someone in your family. Because i know that BSB has been a part of my family for so long. I'm happy that AJ came out now before something bad happen and would have been worse. This issue here affect me more b/c my dad has a problem with Alcohol and i wish he had the guts like AJ to come out but i know my dad and his hard-head. I just wish that my dad will be around a long time from now b/c alcohol is a true problem. Thats like a disease b/c it eats at your liver. All i can say now is that AJ and the Mclean family will be in my prayers b/c i KNOW its a hard time now but AJ will overcome it and i hope that when he goes back on the road that he'll know how much US,fans, love them and will be there for them, well the true fans anyways. I know i will be there and he will have my love, prayers, and more than anything my moral support. AJ i hope you know that we will be there for you 110%+ more support. This only proves to everyone that this makes them more real than anything! I fool around with my friends and say that I love AJ and I want to marry you and I'm sure millions of people want to too. But when I found this out It really made me think for a while. I had to ask myself what does this mean now? Am I still going to feel the same way i feel for him? Well after thinking this over I decided that even though this all happen this doesn't change how i feel for you or the rest of bsb. I still care for you guys as people not just as music group. This may sound weird to some because i've never met you but thats just all in the magic of believing and having faith in somethings. You can say im living in a fantasy world and i probably am but who cares. I also asked myself this question if i say i love you do i really mean it. I think in order to really truly love someone who have to accept them for all that they are and all that they will become and all that they are not. Before this happened I never thought of the bad things that you or the others could do. After this happened I see now that they are capable of doing wrong and if i can stick by you through this when you are not all picture perfect then yes i do love you and nobody can tell me other wise. I don't love you in a lust way its hard to discribe because i fell deeper for you then a boyfriend thing. You may think im lying but im not. People must undertsand that what you did was NOT a bad thing. It was just an act of a soul crying out for help and what helped you at the time(alcohol) was something that hurt you more instead of helping you. Im am very thankful you reached help when you did. As for the posts and polls and stuff i think its good to have the post so fans can vent and show support but please remember this is a human being and who is in a time of need now we need to be showing sympathy and not put this man's business in the street. Show some respect because im sure he would too. We all make mistakes don't make a very big deal out of this one because he was showing that we are all human and break down sometimes but if we allow him to go back to normal then that shows that we really do care for him. I am 25 years old and I never really saw myself as a Backstreet fan. I never really paid attention to you guys. I figured you were just another pop group destined to be vanished in a couple year's time who were greedily taking money from preteen girls who didn't know any better. Yesterday, my view changed and as I was watching MTV, my heart stopped at the news. I may not be a fan of the music, but, I am certainly a fan of yours now.
