Dearest AJ,
I can't ever, EVER think of a time when I EVER cried so much as I did, and have, over you. All I have been able to focus on is you and the Boys. Nothing else has hit my mind. In one way, I'm so happy for you! Good job, buddy! You admitted that you do need that help to get better! That's the first step and I have 400% faith that it will happen! Good job, you have no idea how much that means to us! But, in the other way, AJ, I'm so sad for you that I can't even talk right now. I can barely even see through the tears the keys on the computer. I can't even tell you how hard this hit me yesterday at about 3:00, my time. I found out on the internet and haven't been able to stop crying since. AJ, we are praying for you. We love you so much and we know you will get through this. You can do it, bud! We're here for you! I can't even think of a time that I've ever felt the love and appreciation I feel for you right now than I have ever felt. That really doesn't make sense, but, AJ, I don't think I ever realized what feelings I really had for you until this happened. It is, I just don't know how to out it. You're amazing, AJ. If you only knew. If you only knew I had that red shirt that says "My other boyfriend is a Rock Star" or that I carry your picture, litterally, around the store. If you only realized the love we, as BSB fans, feel right now. I don't think that we knew that before, but now, we are sure. Thank you, AJ. You truly are amazing. What a great role model you are! You may not think so, but think about it! you and the Boys announced your problem, your REAL problem to the media! You know how that stuff gets around, you of all people shoud know! You did that, AJ! Hun, I am soo pleased to see that you are doing the right thing. You made the right decison waiting to get better, instead of allowing your self to get into an even worse position. I just saw you and the rest fo the guys in concert, and the show was awesome. People will still love the show later on, espically since they know that you are feeling better. I also want to thank you for being so honest with the fans, they don't need to know what is going on in your personal life, but you opened up and told them what was going on. You have proved that you guys are the best, in soo many ways, and I love you all. My prayers are with you and the rest of the group. I know you and the guys will make it through these hard times. You have the power to succed, and thats just what you are going to do. ALL MY LOVE!!!

aj,
when i heard this morning that all the tour dates were postponed i was really dissapointed but when i finally found out it was because you were goin to rehab i was so much happier knowing that you didnt deny to everyone that you had a problem and you went for help. i gradulate you on that. i understand how it is for some to be abusing alchol because my cousin has/is doing this and it just is tearing ap art the family so all my heart goes out to you and i will support 100% through this.

AJ, I'm glad you have the courage and self-respect to realize that you need help. I admire you for that. We, the fans, are always behind you. aj...through all of the madness of what has been going on lately, i would like you to knwo that the decision you have made is one of the most important things you've done so far into your career. in the end all the money, the fame, the fans, are not going to matter if you are not healthy. we all support you and think of you as a better person for doing this. we love you and we miss you. you personally are a greater source of an idol for me now. you have proved your strenght and weakness and i admire that in you. you truly are a wonderful person. stay strong and ill be praying for you.

Hey AJ, okay so i understand you are having problems but we allhave prolems. we al have to let out steam but by drinking its not gonna help. You are a strong person, surrounded by loving family andf riends, you should not have to drink to get everything out of ur system, i know losing your grandmother was hard, but we all go through things like this, so please we all know you can get better, there is no backstreet with out you.. This is Ellen again. From one of the posts about 80 pages back. I wanted to let you know that my whole family is praying for you (even my dad and brother, who aren't into that music!). Just look at this. Over a thousand people have written to support you, man! We are fans. People who have gotten more out of your music than you could ever know. Yea, some may think that all of your money makes y'all snobby, but its far from that. You guys are down to Earth and BROTHERS! This same spirit between you and your brothers MADE you take yourself to rehab! That says a lot about you and the fellas. You know when the other is in trouble and needs support. This is just another step in the Backstreet Boys. I am sure of this: that this will make you a stronger person and give you the courage to help those suffering with depression.
You are truly an incredible person, and anyone can see it. You are an incredible vocalist, dancer, businessman, role model, and FRIEND. I feel like you are my friend. Aj I love you so much. You did the right thing getting help. I know it hurt a lot of friends, family, and the roup but you guys have to think about it, I would rather have AJ happy then sad. I been crying since yesterday when they said it because I have been a fan for so long it feels like it's one of my brothers going through this. Greetings from Mansfield, MA. My name is Kristen. I saw you and the fellas perform on Friday July 6th. Bone.. i cannot thank you enough for making that the best night of my life! You were absolutely beautiful during the show! You have the voice of an angel and I cant picture my life without having you in it. As I watched TRL on Monday, and the 4 fellas told us fans what was up...and when I saw Kevin choke up and Nick near tears.. I just began to cry uncontrollably. They were talking about the same AJ i saw that Friday..the one who smiled during the whole show... who sang beautifully. In a way, it is unbelievable. But it's also a sense of relief. If you have problems with anything, we the fans could not be any more happier that you stepped forward and said you needed help. That Bone.. took all the courage in the world times ten. Im so glad you guys were honest with the fans. You 5 know we support you guys thru anything and this is just another knot in the long rope. I know deep within my heart.. you will get better and overcome this. And the Backstreet Boys are goin to become stronger. AJ.. i cant begin to count how many emails I've received. SOO many that say "Prayers for AJ" or "Support AJ" etc. AJ.. i just want you to remember that everyone loves you so much. SOOOOOO much. Your family. THe 4 fellas who ALWAYS have your back. all i can say is that aj is so brave.im very proud of him for saying he has a problem and that he needed help.i dont know aj personally but i can say that he is going to get though this.i know as his fans we're here to pray and wish him luck ans support to get though this.i also wish the guys luck and support to help them as well. aj and the guys the fans r for u.good luck!

Dear AjI just wanted to say too you Iam proud of you for seeking help for your problem although I don't know what your going through but It takes a man to accept his problem and take action for the things he's done I know it's tough Aj but I know in my heart you'll get through it I know what's it's like to lose a family member that you love so much when I lost my Grandfather I had to be strong for my dad but deep down inside of me I was in pain I went through a rough time too. When I heard the news I didn't want to believe it but when I heard the guys talking about it my heart melt because I already was feeling bad first it's my 21st birthday and with a baby on the way I can't do all the things I was looking forward too But Aj the reason Iam telling you all those things is because I hate to see you go through what your going through because your a sweet man and my prayers are with you Aj and your strong Aj and I know you'll pull through this rough time in your life and wish all you the best and I want you to get better because I hate to see any person go through this espically a outgoing sweet guy like yourself so Aj please get well soon and be strong everyone's here for you including me Aj we all love you and care for you Aj take care of yourself because I hate to see you Like this it makes my cry But I know deep dpwn inside of me you'll get back on your feet once more and you'll do what you love to do so much and that's tour again and see all your fans who love and support you Your a wonderful,bright,smart and sweet man who is talented in every way Aj you always be special to me and I'll always care for you in every way I can so feel better and take care of yourself and don't about anything else but you getting better Aj.

AJ,
I hope you get the help you need. You are in the right place. I went to the concert on Friday night in Boston with my daughter it was awesome and you performed unbelievable. The band really needs you so do your fans.
I understand your pain. It's very hard being brought up without a father in your life. I know my father left my home when I was 10 and life changed. I had very hard times dealing with it and when I did, it made me a stronger person. It's very hard because you try to hide your feelings and you want everything to be alright and normal. All the money and fame in the world isn't worth a thing unless your healthy and happy.
You can do it. Mind over matter. Be strong. You will overcome this. It just takes time.
You have alot of support from friends and fans.
Hope to see you back on tour in August.
