I have to admit though, when I first heard about it, I cried cuz I was scared that you were leaving the group but I know that being a Backstreet Boys is your life and you wouldn't let your fans down. When I first heard about what all had happened with you checking in and all the first thing that came to my mind was oh my gosh this is truly happening. Now not that long ago I had read this article about you having some drinking problems back on the days of the Millenium Tour. Of course I figured since your such a strong person you had pulled yourself away from all of that. But I guess I was kind of wrong...by saying this I am not saying that you are not a strong person. In fact you and the rest of the boys have to be pretty darn strong to have gone through all that you did. The way I feel everyone should look at this is that instead of finding this whole rehab thing has one big problem. I feel that it should be looked at has another obstacle in the game of life. Its just the same as every other time in life and there should be no reason for you to give up. After all you have all ready made it over the biggest part of the game...by just telling the boys that you had a problem and that you wanted to get helped for it you have taken the biggest part of it all and put it behind you. From now it will be a bit less rockier of a ride...I mean sure being in a place you've never been before can be scary but you have so much support from the boys, your family, your friends, and us the fans. There is no way in the world any of us would ever give up on you. We have been there for you ever since the begining back in 93 and will be there for you until the day you die. I just wanted to say that no matter what the out come of the 30 days brings you. Be it that you feel that you need more time, or that you feel that you are ready to get back in to the swing of things and want to go back to performing. I and many others will support your decision all the way. Just remember baby steps are always easier than big steps, and by taking your time you give your self the break that you need to get over this. Just remember were there every step of the way cheering you on. And if you fall we will be there to catch you...no matter what. I don't know if she told you it, but my dad died last friday. His mom just met him dead on his bedroom floor last Saturday. He dead because of the alcohol. So, AJ, I just beg you: keep trying to stop. You did an awesome thing asking for help to cure you. It's not everyone that can recognize the problem and ask for help. My dad was one of them. He didn't ask for help. And now there's him, dead, when he could change his whole life if he just had asked for help. He could be right here by my side now. Think about it. I know it's not my business. But the tears that I cried for my dad and I don't want to cry for you.
