(sigh)Well where should I start. AJ you are an amazing person and for being able to admit to your problem you're already half way there.Having my mom working at a rehab center really makes me understand the struggles people go through, and that life is not always perfect. What people do need to realize is that they CAN pull through! I too am an only child that was raised by my mother and grandparents, and I can say it is a different childhood. Sometimes I think and wonder how the world can still go on when so many people are not fortunate to have a well-guided life. What I do know is that you ARE going to move on in life and with your selfconfidience and a little motivation you will be steered in the right direction. Coming from a family that has many problems with depression AND alcoholism I know it is not an easy road ahead. And although depression is not always completely cured I have an UNBELIVABLY strong feeling you will overcome the most part of it, and even if worse came to worse your fans will still love you and your family will always be there for you. We'll just have to wait and see, and untill then I'll keep on praying for you and leaving it in gods hands.
Anyways, the show must go on!

Aj,
I hope that you recover soon. I understand exactly what your going through. I'm 20 yrs old and I'm going through the same thing right now in my life. Understanding your soul completly is important to me. Moreover, when we realize that we are weak and need help to become strong again, that shows that we will make it through this. Like you I've lost close people in my life, and have a lot of self discovering to do. I am strong and I will get through this and so will you. This experiance will make you and the backstreet boys much stronger. Today is the 3 aniversary of my brothers death. It's hard to get through the pain but we will. I too, have screamed at the top of my lungs with the overwhelming feeling of pain inside me. Yet, we will get through this we're strong.

AJ,I would just like to wish you the best of luck with your recovery. the hardest part has already been done in my eyes. you admitted to the problem and now you are getting help. I believe that you will. I would also just like you to know that all of us bsb, fans are backing you up. I think we can all relate to feelings that you may be having. We would just like you to get better soon and back with the band. but take your time, getting better is most important. so, once again, best wishes, and there are a lot of people out here, praying for you! A.J.Hey Sweetie! I am REALLY proud of you! Last April, I was diagnosed with clinical depression, I was put into the hospital for a while. I know how you are feeling and what you are going through and I just want you to know, things will get better. Your music helped me through my rough time and now I hope all of the fans and me can help you through this rough time as well. =0) All of your fans and your BIGGEST one (ME) is here for u and we will stand by you. Hey AJ.....hope you feel better soon!! Good Luck with everything...remember your fans and me will be there for you every step of the way!! I know how you feel!! I'm going through practically the same thing! At this moment I'm having depression problems....it may look like I have a perfect life but I don't. I'm proud of you for admitting you have a problem. You're a step closer to being a stronger person than you were before. I know you've had many dark times but you need to realize that you need to just forget the past and look into the future and make it better than yesterday!! Life is too short to waste on problems that can make it shorter. Just deal with every obstacle you may face in the path of your life and don't look back at the bad times. Only look onto the good ones. Believe me, I have a dark side too that sometimes I do tell people about and sometimes I just hide until I can't take it anymore! It's our time to Give back!
All of the backstreetboys including AJ have given up so much to do what they do.They have given up sleep, spending time with there special others or wives, and there family and friends to give to us good music and ALL THIER LOVE! Now it's our time to give back to them and AJ what they've given to us LOVE!! He needs support and understanding at this time not put downs. So for all those putting him or any of the others down SHAME ON YOU. I've never had the same problem and hope I never will but I do know working in the job I work in that your prayers will be heard so keep up the hope and the prayers. And AJ I'll be praying for you all my well wishes and love and we will be here when you come back. Take all the time you need!!! AGAIN We LOVE you!!!!!

AJ....well what can i say......i am so sorry that u are having problems...when i found out about it my heart was broken....you are such an amazing guy..u have so much talent, love, heart, compassion, kindness for others...and all that makes me admire u. but what makes me admire u alot now is that u realized u needed help..that is the first step in getting better...and i'm so proud of you for realizing that...not everyone realizes and it ruins them...and your not gonna ruin yourself....your gonna get better and when ur better u'll be the best u've ever been! Well, it's certainly been a rough week for the Backstreet Boys and all their fans. I just wanted to let them all know that I'm still thinking about them, and praying for them constantly.
More than anything I want AJ to recover, so the Boys can continue to perform and share their incredible talent and gift of music with the world. I don't know if AJ will ever see these e-mails,
but if he does, and they help him even a little, then I know it was worth sending them. Hang in there, AJ; the worst is over. You've admitted you have have a problem, and now you're getting the
help you need to get better. Me, and all the other BSB fans out there, are behind you all the way, and we'll support you through this difficult time. And to Nick, Brian, Howie, and Kevin, keep your heads
up. It must be hard to see AJ go through such a hard time, but things will turn out all right. It's obvious that you care immensely for him, otherwise you wouldn't have been so upset or understanding.
You've definitely proven your loyalty to your bandmate for supporting him, and your loyalty to your fans for being honest with us. It was greatly appreciated. Now we just have to hang in there,
keep our heads up, and keep praying for AJ's quick and complete recovery, because everyone knows BSB just wouldn't be the same without him. Best wishes AJ; you're in my heart, always!

A.J. First I want to go and say that you wave at my section I was in section 208 and I saw you waving to my section I saw you on March 13th. I want to go say that I hope you get better soon when I saw the interview about you A.J. I saw Nick wanted to cry when he was talking about it on TRL. So A.J. when you get better please please please came back to Arizona. My prayers for you A.J. and I am hoping that you like the present that I sent you and also the get well card too. When I hear More Than That I want to cry because I think of you all the time. A.J. I heard that you are doing your Rehab here in Arizona.
