I think personally,i'm not a obssesed fan no more,I love them,I'll love them but I'm not 15 years and things have changed.I still love Nick(he's my man)but I'm not a teenager no more.

I am not you average Backstreet fan. I am 34 and love there music since the first time I heard them. (8 1/2 years ago). I am lucky, because I am from germany and had my nice send me there very first album. Since than I have bought every one of them on the days that they where released. I also tape everything on TV and make sure that nobody can ever erase it. I just can not get enough of those 5 guys and there music.
Last month I had finally the chance to see there show in Minneapolis, MN. And it was worth every minute. We life 3 1/2 hours from there and on the way home all we listent to was Backstreet Boys. I am just glad that my husband likes them too. All I wish is that I would ever have the chance to talk to anyone (or all) of them to let them know how much there music means to me.

Ok, just for getting the real definition on here indicates that I need some serious therapy—don’t we all. I have compiled a little list of things that certify myself and others as Backstreet-addicts.
1. You’re going to buy the “Chapter One” CD even though you have every single song on there already on CD but “Drowning”. You will pay the full price of the CD just to say you have it and for “Drowning”.
2. You are now a full-fledged Journey fan. Or Oasis. Or Nirvana. Or any other artist(s) that Nick even hints he likes. (Personally, I’ve become a big fan of Steve Perry. “Open Arms” forever!)
3. When you watch tapes of yourself just acting normal, you get freaked out. Why? Because you talk like one of the Boys or do something like they do. (I find myself talking like Nick all the time.)
4. You started taking singing lessons in order to (a) sing as good as the Boys (b) get signed on Jive or the Boys’ label. (I hope to get into the business and somehow meet the Boys.)
5. Everyone in your life (family, friends, teachers, not-so-friends) knows you love Nick.
6. Sad love songs kill you because they make you think of your favorite Boy. Losing him, breaking up, etc.
7. When you think of your life in the future and you have to think of it without Nick…you cry and plead to God to bring Nick to you. You promise to do whatever it takes to earn Nick’s love.
8. When you get ready to go out somewhere or just for school, you try to look like someone who would be Nick’s girlfriend. That’s your style—the “Nick’s Girlfriend” look.
9. Whenever you have an obstacle to overcome in your life, you think, “Nick would do this with no problem, so let’s do this.” The mission is always accomplished with this mind frame for me!

*When your friends are in your room, they think that you are really patetic
*When oyu have a test you write "Carter" or "Mclean" (and so on), like your last name
*Everyone in the school, including the teachers, know that you are a Backstreet Boys fan
*You scream when you saw them in a t.v show... Then you start to say "I love you Brian" or "Oh my God" or simply "BACKSTREET!!!!!!!!"
*You are in Internet, in a chat, and the first word that you write is: I LOVE BSB
*You tape all the T.V show (like trl) and watch it a lot of times at day
*You are proud to be a BSB fan... (Like me)

2. you can relate everything you talk about to BSB
3. you family hates them but know the lyrics to all the songs cos you play them so much
4. everyone at school knows you as the crazy BSB fan
5. everyone knows not to insult BSB in front of you cos they'll get seriously hurt
6. everyone knows not to mention NSYNC when you're around cos you'll chuck a mental
7. you dream about them all the time (including day dreaming)
8. no matter how impossible it seems, you still believe that when you meet your fave BSB, he'll fall in love with you at once
9. you didn't like any of the boys girlfriends at first cos you have the belief that they are reserved for you
10. you notice everything that has to do with BSB in movies, TV shows etc
11. you watch movies/tv shows that have anything to do with BSB eg. Sabrina, Edward Scissorhands, Rock Star etc)
12. you support anyone who has anything to do with BSB (Born Into Kaos, Krystal, Pollyanna, Harold etc)
13. you'll go anywhere and do anything to get close to BSB
14. you refer to BSB as 'your boys'
15. you notice everything Black & Blue
16. you see something that mentions BSB more than once in a day and take it as a sign
17. everytime you hear a someone unintentionally say a line from a BSB song you sing the next line and finish the song while you're at it (I do it while watching Gladiator. Someone in it says 'tell me why' and I start singing 'ain't nothing but a heartache')
18. you buy all their cd's even though your mum yells at you for 'wasting' money
19. you haven't seen your bedroom walls in so long cos they're plastered with BSB posters and when you rearrange your posters you get a shock when you see the wall when it's plain
20. you have a folder full of BSB interviews, little pics, articles, any little thing on BSB that doesn't fit on your wall
That's all I can think of right now but if you do all of the above then you are a totally obsessed BSB fan just like me!! KTBSPA!!!

4 you own every cd in cluding all there imports
5 you donated more than $100 to diffrent bsb orgainizations
6 you have every book bsb are in
7 your wallpaper in your room is bsb posters (tons)
8 you have all of aaron carters cd's cuase he is nicks younger bro
9. you have krystals cd's becuase she's signed to there record label
10 you made 10 bsb haters into bsb lovers

Ok...If you don't luv Nick Carter there is something seriously wrong with you!
1. You have to dream about him every night!
2. I talk about him 24/7 so much that my friends tell me to shut up or else and my mom even glares at me with that evil look!
3. When your talking to your friends and you say you know who does that or has that or etc. they say hmmm I wonder...Nick Carter!
4. Your brother has heard you spit out his facts so much he is starting to know them!
5. Your only bribes to your friends is to stop talking about him! (Hmmm I wonder why I can't bribe my friends anymore! Hehe!)
6. How you know where a pic is from when you see it!
7. How your friends bribe to you is Nick Pics! (Isn't it great how easily that flows?)
8. How you know how much he sold his house for and dream that he is moving in next door! (PLEASE! PLEASE! YOU KNOW YOU WANT TO MOVE IN NEXT TO ME NICK!)
9. How you remember his every move at concerts!
10. How you scream at the sight of him on the TV!

1) i HATE nsync and wish 4 them to... 2) whenever nsync comes on or i see a pic of them i run away screaming or i sheild my face with my arm. 3) im a backstreet boys fan and im damn proud of it!!!!!!!!! 4) i call nsync ncurse now 5) i have just decided that when someone makes fun of bsb instead of igonoring them im going to kill them 6) i know ajs sn 7) i know nicks sn 8) im never gonna stop loving bsb-never 9) im way more obsesed then any fan bcuz im so obsesed that i always make obseseion lists and sometimes i cant even express my love for them bcuz its so deep.
