My Colorado Concert Review

My Black and Blue Concert Review
Before the Concert:
WOW! All I can say is AWESOME concert!and I might remember everything in order but I'll never forget this concert, I had the best time of my life! My boyfriend Eric and I went to the Pepsi center around 1:00pm and we looked around and some radio stations was there setting up and stuff. At 4:00 I heard BSB was coming to go inside and so I ran over to the other side, Some people was getting off and then Brian got off and he was surrounded by 2 guards and then he stepped back and he looked at me and I yelled Brian Happy Birthday and he smiled and waved back at me, it was the best moment ever for me I was screaming and shaking. During these times of waiting I got to be on the news 3 times and the radio 2 times. I was wearing a BSB hat, BSB bandana, BSB backpack, BSB necklaces, BSB shirt, BSB sweatshirt, BSB pants (I made them) so they thought I was a crazy obsessive fan Then after time went slow it was 6:30 and it was time for us to go in, then I went in and brought some BSB stuff then I went and found my seat (It was better than I thought it was). Then fans was screaming for the BSB to come on and then this guy kept coming out and telling us what was going on and this is exactly what he said. "Hello everyone, and welcome to the Backstreet Boys Black & Blue concert. We regret to inform you that. Kevin Richardson....will not be attending the concert tonight. DIA (Denver International Airport) has been closed and Kevin has been on a plane for over 4 hours trying to get here. But, because of the fans in Denver, we are happy to inform you that Howie, AJ, Brian, and Nick will be performing tonight in a few minutes. "He then went on to say that if you wanted a refund because of Kevin's absence, they would gladly give it to you. It looks like Kevin has bad luck with Denver, last year sprained his wrist by snowboarding and had to wear a sling the whole concert, and this one he couldn't even show up! We all was upset and thought it was just a joke so the fans booed him down and all, but when he said if you want a refund I knew he wasn't joking, so then 7:30 Krystal came on and sang 4 songs, she walked out with this huge cape on covering her head and everything else, she starting singing "My Religion" and when she got through the first verse and then she threw back the hood of her cape and the audience like gasped and then cheered. Then she sang another song (I can' remember the name of it) Then after that she talked about how it was someone's birthday (Brian's) and so we sang to Brian) then she sang her song "Supergirl" , then she mention that she was going to sign autographs after she sang her last song (I was on 2nd level so I didn't even bother) She was pretty good expect she screams a lot, but I thought she was very good. Then we waited for another 45 minutes until BSB came on. Just to let you know I'm trying to tell you everything I can remember and stuff, there was so many times when I was nearly almost about to pass out, we even had this guy that worked there behind me to watch me incase something happened.
The Concert:
Then second going on by the lights went out all you can see is black and blue and the blue was coming from the fans glowsticks. They had 11 dancers coming out (I didn't pay a lot of attention to them, I was into BSB) hehe. They had like pyro and stuff (hard to explain). They popped up from the ground and starting doing all these cool dance moves and stuff not singing or anything it was pretty cool, right there and then I was going crazy. and the 4 remaining BSB starting singing "Everyone" and they had black and blue shirts and tench coats and pants, Nick had these sunglasses on and OMG OMG OMG!!! He looked so hot! Right there and then I was about to passout! It was a great song to start off(right here I was going crazy I was screaming my lungs out) then they did connected the end of "Everyone" into "Larger Than Life" they did the dance moves from the video and everyone was dancing alone. Then they took a short break and we sang Brian Happy Birthday (How sweet this was, I cried and I sang along) Brian was like Oh that's me and I don't have to sing right? hehe everyone we sang Happy Birthday to you and then Brian would go "to me" or he say "That's Me" with a big grin on his face, he can always make me laugh. Then they got back to singing, they sang "Shining Star" the whole arena was very dark and they was had line stars shooting out it was very pretty, they wore blue shirts, this song was so wonderful they can sing so great! The dance moves to this song was so awesome! Howie blew me a kiss with a peace sign. Then they sang "What Makes You Different (Makes You Beautiful") here they wore white suits, this song is so beautiful! I feel in love with it! Then they sang "Yes I Will" and this song I feel in love with the first day I heard it! The dance moves was hot hot hot!!! They had these silver canes with glass ball on top, I thought it was so pretty and awesome. All I can say is BSB can sure sing no matter what! Then they sang "More Than That" Oh boy a lot happened here, first I was crying, I love the song, then Aj waved at me, later on Howie waved at me. Then again they had more hot sexy dance moves! I was so excited! A big pretty red flame came on the screen the next song they sang was "I Want It That Way" I love this song like I heard it last year with my eye contact with Howie but anyways, and I loved how they got the crowd singing and stuff, doing stuff with the fans. The next song was "Not For Me" I loved this song too,they did a great job. Then they did "Show me The Meaning Of Being Lonely" I love this song so much, it brought tears to everyone's eyes. They did a great job and they are so hot hot hot! OMG
Then they took a break and the band played the tune to "Quit Playing Games( With My Heart) and here I thought we was supposed to see the dressing room tape? but anyways, they floated out from under the stage and come onto the round stage and this is where it gets good!!!! OMG OMG OMG!!!!!!! They all come out from the circle, and they Nick and Aj sat down by the fans and they was teasing the girls, and they sang " I'll Never Break Your Heart" and OMG this is where again I almost passed out Brian waved at me and smiled at me again! ( He probabilty remembers me from the beginning) and I yelled I Love you Brian and he blew me a kiss! Then they sang " How Did I Fall In Love With You" and this was very funny, we had these ballons and the fans was throwing them around and some fans was trying to throw it to Howie and he got it and he threw it back and then some fan threw it back at him and it hit him in the face, I felt so bad, I screamed "Are you Okay Howie" and he turned around and saw me and waved. Howie was just into the crowd playing with the ballons.Nick was walking around the little stage and he looked at me with my hat (it had blinking red lights that read B S B, he started laughing and smiled at me, he blew me kiss! I almost passout again!!! Then they went into a little speech about how they wrote the next song, and they lowered the catwalk and Nick was first and they sang "Time" (fans here hold up candles, glowsticks, lighters. I burned my hand, lol I thought it was so cool, that they did that,(see they are decatied to their fans), and they was wearing like hawaiin clothes or something like that light/dark pretty cool clothes, If I had any memory left from passing out a lot (LOL) They sang "If You Stay" from the booty call soundtrack. They went into the costume change and then blasted out of the ground again singing."Everybody (Backstreet's Back)" and the audience loved it and because they had the same awesome sexy moves, the crowd danced along and went wild! (Like ME)!!!!!! hehe.......... Then they did "The Answer To Our Life" I was inlove with this song, I loved how they had this video showing all the problems in the world, the best part was when the ocean part came on Nick got on his knee and prayed to the ocean and kiss him necklace (I thought that was so sweet and all) I was going nuts, and I was jumping up and down and I was going crazy and the railing in front of me I almost fell over them and almost very badly hurt or killed myself. Awesome dance moves again and HOT HOT HOT!!!!! Then they all came out and talked about their different charities and all. Then they sang "Get Another Boyfriend" this is was a cool song for them to perform, I'm glad they picked it. They had a a costume change and the next cool thing was Aj came out and starting talking to us telling us that this was the last song and then his cell phone rang and he asked if we should answer it and stuff and
(I was yelling No No No hehe just as a joke hehe) and it brought into the "The Call" they had rocking dance moves to this song, and the audience was going nuts, because it was a awesome song. Then they bowed down and said their thanks and walked off the stage. Then us fans was screaming and telling them to come back out and they sang " Shape Of My Heart" and I was crying taking so many pictures because I never wanted this day to be over and all, during this song Nick took this little girl and brought her up on stage and started rocking her, it was so adorable! During this song, Brian was signing his shirt for his charitie and he thew in the crowd and he had a white tanktop on (Ohhhh so sexy and hot OMG it was like the best thing lol) I was so sad and crying my eyes out and then I kept yelling Nick I Love You and then for the last time he looked at me and waved at me and blew me a kiss! I was so happy!!!! I was about to pass out again!!!! OMG! and then they did a little dance and then said goodbye and went down back to the floor! This is where I was so down crying, so sad, I didn't even want to leave, my boyfriend had to cover me up, because I was into so much tears, and my boyfriend thought I was going to pass out or something, then it was so hard for me to go. Sorry to all the Kevin fans, I miss him too, I wish he was there also. There is always next concert, if you are going this summer

I would have to say that after the concert here in Denver without Kevin it felt VERY awkward only seeing 4 boys on stage. And because Kevin is my favorite BSB I cried! The only thing I want to know is why he had the guts to go to a photo shoot that morning when he knew he had a concert to perform that night?! I'm upset. My seats were awesome this time and was close enough to the cat walk but instead of 5 Backstreet Boys, I only have 4. =( That's just my statement. It was an awesome show though.

The BEST night of my life! :) (((Please Read!)))

Oh my goodness!! I had the best time EVER in my whole life at the Backstreet Boys' concert!! Words can’t even explain how much fun it was! lol :) I was looking forward to the concert since in December! I had made a chain to count down the days; also I put how many days I had left until the concert on my screensaver. I’ll get to the trip and the concert now! Lol
Ok, I woke up the day of the concert at about 6:30. I couldn’t sleep in at all! I got up and got dressed, brushed my hair, brushed my teeth, (I waited to put on my make up until I got to the hotel so it would look perfect.:)) then we waited until about 11:00 for me and my mom to leave to Castle Rock. It seemed like it was a long wait though! We had to wait for my brother’s bus to pick him up for school. He was jealous of my mom and me going though!
Finally, we left to go to Castle Rock, it was about a 3 and a half an hour drive. When we got to Castle Rock, we went to Burger King to eat, YUM!! lol, after we were done we checked into our hotel. Then I started to get ready for the concert. I changed into my Backstreet Boys shirt, put on my A.J. pin, Backstreet Boys necklace, and my lucky “I Luv A.J.” necklace,(long story about that.) Then my mom and me fixed our hair, perfect, and our makeup, perfect. We were watching the news while we were getting ready and they showed the Backstreet Boys leaving their hotel to go the Pepsi Center. I was REALLY excited by now! lol But then we saw on the news about the fog, they showed Denver and it looked really bad. My mom had this look on her face that we weren’t gonna go, (I was about to cry!) I asked her if we were still gonna go, and she said, “Of course we’re going!” (So I started to cheer up.) Then we left in a few minutes after that.
It seemed like it took a long time to get to the Pepsi Center because of the traffic jam. But finally we made it. We parked our car, (but those guys charged us 20 dollars just to park! We both paid 10 dollars so it would be even.), then we got out and crossed the street to the Pepsi Center. It was freezing cold outside, and we had to wait a long time to get in! They opened the doors at about 6:30. It was funny because I had stuck a camera in my bra and then when they opened the doors we started to walk towards it and the camera fell out of my bra! I tried to hold it up when we were going in, but it didn’t even matter because they didn’t even check anybody for weapons or anything.
When we finally got in we went and looked at all the souvenirs. First we passed by the tour programs, they looked cool but when that lady said, “Tour programs, $20!” we were like “Lets keep going!” Then we walked past the booth with the glow sticks, I wanted one but they were like 8 dollars! So then we went to the booth with the t-shirts. I bought the black one that said “Backstreet Boys, Black & Blue World Tour” on it. Then we went back to the booth with the pictures in it. I bought an A.J. picture then later on I bought one with all of them on it. After we were done buying souvenirs we bought dip n dots, popcorn, and two soda pops.
Finally, then we went searching for our seats. We had to ride the elevator up to level 5. We got off and started searching for our seats that were in section 375. It seemed like we walked a long time trying to find our section, but finally we found it. We walked in and sat in the front row, in seats 7 & 8. We were shocked to see how close we were to the stage! I expected us to not be able to see the stage at all! We had a side view of the stage but we were really close so it didn’t matter. We sat there for a while then this man came out and said how Kevin couldn’t make it because of the bad weather and his flight couldn’t land at the Denver airport because they shut it down and that you could get a refund if you want to. People started to scream and boo because they were mad! I was one of them! I was screaming and booing, my mom was trying to calm me down! lol It was strange because when we were in the car driving to Castle Rock we were saying how awful it would be if one of them couldn’t make it! AAAHHHHH!! And it came true! How strange! lol
I think after that Krystal came out. She acted kinda strange but she is a really good singer!! She first sang that song on the Burger King cd, I can’t remember the name of it though. Then she sang another song, I have no idea what that song was called! I never heard it before in my life. After that we all sang happy birthday to Brian. That was pretty fun singing happy birthday to Brian! The last song she sang was called, I think, “Supergirl” That’s a good song! She had said that she was going to sign autographs in some section after she was done, I wish that it would’ve been in my section! But it wasn’t. Oh well, I got over it in a few minutes! Lol
Well, after that, we waited and waited and waited! That guy came out like 3 more times telling us about how Kevin wasn’t going to be there and that for sure the rest of them were there and that they were still were going to perform. Then he was all; “The boys will be out in a few minutes.” He said that ten billion times. It was cool while we were waiting though; the people on the sides started to do this wave thing, that was fun! But then the wave died. :( Then we chanted “Backstreet Boys” that didn’t last long though either.
But FINALLY the time had come! The lights dimmed, smoke started to come off of the stage, there were dancers in these brown jacket things on the stage, then we all knew that the time had come! I looked at the screen and there were these meteorite coming down, then when they showed it hit the earth, these firework-bomb things go off on the stage. My mom and me could feel the heat from it on our face! The last one was a really BIG one!! To tell you the truth, I was kinda scared of them! lol All of a sudden, the Backstreet Boys,(Well, four of them) popped out from these hole things on the stage! I was sooooooo excited! I pointed and I was all like, “Look, it’s A.J.!!” I was screaming! Then they started to sing “Everyone.” I love that song! Right after it they sang “Large Than Life.” I love that song, and the dance moves! When that was over we all sang “Happy Birthday” to Brian! He sounded cute because whenever we would say “Happy birthday to you” Brian would say, “To meeeeeeeeeee!” I loved it when he did that! I think a little while after that they sang “Yes I Will.” They performed that song really well! Then they sang “I Want It That Way.” That is a good song too. Sometime after that they sang “Show Me The Meaning Of Being Lonely.” That was one of my favorite song off of their last album. I loved it when they sang a couple of songs on the little round stage in the back of the stadium. I know for sure they sang “How Did I Fall In Love With You” there. That is such a beautiful song! That was probably my favorite slow song they performed at the concert. It was sooooooo cool when the bridge came down from the ceiling and went over the audience. They sang while they crossed it. I think they may have sang “Time.” I know for sure they had sang that song when they were some where over there. I think sometime after they crossed the bridge they sang “More Than That.” I love that song sooooooooo much! Towards the end they sang “Everybody.” I love the song and the dance moves! It was almost the end of the concert, A.J. was telling us how this was going to be the last song. I knew he was lying! Then all of a sudden his phone rings and he answers it, he tells her that he can’t talk because he is in the middle of a concert then he hangs up. After that they all start to sing “The Call.” After that I knew that the next song was going to be the last one. They come out and start to sing “Shape Of My Heart.” I was sad because I knew that the concert was over. Now here comes the best part! Ok, Brian walks to the side of the stage, right now I am waving like crazy at him, then he looks up and waves back! Aaaaaaaahhhhhh!!! I was soooooooo happy! But then they all take a bow then they go back to that hole they came out in and they start to sink back into it. I was like, “NO! come back!” But they didn’t. :) I had the bestest time in my whole life!! I hope to get to go back to their concert sometime! After the concert, we went back to our hotel room, I dreampt about the Backstreet Boys concert that night!
I was was busy taking pictures during all of this! My film only lasted for half of the show. Oh well! I didn’t care, as long as I got pictures of them! That’s all that mattered! Speaking of “as long,” I don’t think they performed “Aslong As You Love Me.” I just thought about that right now! Oh well, it’s ok. I can’t remember what song they had the canes in though! Somebody please help me with that! I can’t remember what order they sang the songs, so they might be out of order, I skipped some things I think, and I didn’t list all of the songs they sang, sorry.

OMG Even without Kevy there, due to the crap weather Denver of course had to have on the night of the concert, It was the most awsome thing i've ever seen!This was my first concert,and i'm sure it is the best!All 4 bsb's were amazing!There dance moves were soooo awsome!They started out with Everyone then went into Larger Than Life with awsome dance moves!The whole set was sooo cool!There dancers were like in cloaks,and it was just amazing.I couldn't stop woundering wat this black and blue circle shape thing was on the other side of the arena,but after a rockin beginning i soon found out.somehow while the dancers and band members were occupieing us with "As Long as u luv me"song,bsb somehow went underneath the floor and arrived on the circle shape stage which popped up outta the ground.it was really cool!At first,i thought it was like a trampoline or something lol.Bsb sang a couple slow songs,then lowered a brigde which went over the crowd back to the original stage and they sang "time" on it.I was in the nose bleed section but somehow i coulda sworn howie waved at me!During the slow songs people in my section sat down,while i was still standing up and screaming as loud as i could like i was the whole concert and waving my my arms rapidly while howie looked up and he saw me standing up and all spazzed out and he waved at me!I felt pretty special after that.lol anyway,as u all know,it was brians b-day!The whole arena sang happy b-day to him!It was pretty cool.I was really upset cause i had a preasent for b-rok and i wasn't close enough to throw at him.lol O well.:)I think it was,like on "Not for me"at the end all 4 boys jumped into these little squares in the ground of the stage and then fire exploded after them!it was really cool,but for AJ,i thought it was hilariouse!Aj almost didn't make it back into his square before the fire blew up!lol he was all singin and such and he musta got really involved in the crowd cause he was sprinting back to his square( he was a little late if ya know wat i mean).lol i was cracking up.lol all the songs were awsome with awsome dance moves and fire and a bunch of awsome stuff!they ended with The Call and Shape of my heart.On the call,Aj pulled out a cell phone and was like "Hey baby,i'm in Denver right now,I'll call ya wen i get back to my hotel,but i mite not be alone"lol it was really cool.Then they did shape of my heart,i loved it!but it was the one song when i filled with jealousy,because Nick pulled a little girl from the crowd and held her while he was singing!It was adorable!lol speaking of nick,he was awsome!On one song,i can't remember,he was playing the electrice guitar and was all wild and then threw it!it was soo awsome!I was like "Whoa nicky,we got a little kid rock in the house tonight!"lol he was really awsome.really wild too!lol I was seriously outta my mind!I was soo happy,and having so much fun!Screaming so much,my throght still hurts today!lol but it was really awsome.I was suprised,cause i saw the Orlando concert on video,and it seemed that Denver scream and cheered MUCH louder than that!I was like "GO DENVER!" whenever bsb said something like "u guys mean SO much to us"!lol it was funny,cause b-rok was laughing cause the croud was going so crazy!It was the best!I REALLY hope they come back this summer!:)

well i just want to say that the NAHB concert was the best i have ever seen in my entire life (actually it was my first concert ever). krystal the greatest female singer out there came on about 7:40 and did some excellent stuff out there. By that time we were informed of the fact that Kevin would not be showing up due to a few weather problems (typical of Denver). At first I thought it was some depressing joke but with that guys horribly rasping voice (no offense) you could tell he wasn't kiddin' with us. In the 40 minute absolutly boring time period we had to wait for the boys i came up with the name nahb. Now think about it I really did not see the backstreet boys I saw Nick Howie AJ and Brian, NAHB. There was a repeating wave of fans going around and around the stadium forever. Yes bsb this is what denver does when they get extremely bored. When they did get around to it i got so shaky. the #1 part i regret so much was when i looked down at my watch looked back up and they were standing on these pillar like things that had rised up. I saw Nick first and if u have never seen bsb live then u think as them as a pic. When they're live they look the same as you dream wish and hope. I almost stated crying during "larger than Life".
The next day i looked down at the newspaper and there was Nick Carter signing autographs. oh it was great.

I was one of the 17,900 fans that watched (most of) the Backstreet Boys perform in the Pepsi Center on February 20, 2001. Some notes:
1. I am a pure-country fan, and I fell in love with BSB after watching them sing SMTM on the Grammys, so this was my first "popular music" concert, where the fans would scream if the arena had a power surge and the lights flickered...or when the crew came on to ready the stage...or when a lady tested the lights...or if a band member ALMOST looked in their direction...or when different members were shown on the screen. (CO is Brian country).
2. Brian is hilarious. We sang him Happy Birthday twice (once with Krystal and once with the Boys). Every time the song paused (when we sang with the Boys), he would throw out his arms and sing "to me!" in a very high octave. When we sang his name ("Happy Birthday, dear (Boys: B-Rok, Crowd: Brian)") he added "that's me!" in the same style.
3. Nick fell down during the show! He also added to the whole 'cuteness factor' when he cradled a girl during SOMH.
4. When the Boys sang HDIFILWY?, the fans tossed around two huge, blue plastic..balloons? balls?..and one of them smacked Howie in the head during one of his high parts! He stopped singing and gave the crowd a mocked-shocked look, deeply amusing.
5. Every time the Boys were supposed to drop through the holes in the stage, Brian would hesitate. I can sympathize, I'm also terrified of heights.
6. The Boys were constantly goofing off on stage and saying things like, "Kevin's not here to make us stop!" They also went bowling until 4 a.m. after the show, and told the Rocky Mountain News that they regretted Kevin not being there to tell them to go to bed.
7. For those of y'all wondering, they didn't show the video (the band played an instrumental melody of QPG and ALAYM instead), Brian sang Kevin's solo in SMTM and AJ sang his solo in IWITW. When they danced, the Boys had to adjust their 'triangle positions.' Is Kevin the 'point' in EVERY routine?
8. Howie accidently referred to us as "The Mile High Island" during "The Call."
9. Brian wore a Healthy Hearts shirt during SOMH...nice touch.
10. The order that kept Kevin from landing in Denver was repealed at 9:30...exactly 45 minutes after the Boys took the stage...and an hour before they left it.

My BSB experience in Denver consisted of two wonderful days! So here's my story! On the day of the concert at 10:30 my friend and I left school early (after doing CSAP, of course) and headed down to Denver with my parents(hour and a half drive). We had been told the previous week that the boys would be staying at the hotel we were at...well when we pulled up those wonderful silver tour busses were parked on the street outside the hotel, and I knew that it would be an iteresting weekend. We went inside, and checked in. My parents went shopping, but my friend and I decided to stay behind because we knew they would be leaving for the venue. Then about an hour after we got there AJ comes down from his room. He signs most people's things and then tells us that he has to go to a school, then heads out the door. An hour later Brian comes down and a couple of us yell happy birthday! And he looks up and says Thank You then heads out the door. Well, from there we had a long wait, until 5 PM when we knew that everyone else would be coming down. So my friend and I sprinted upstairs, changed for the concert, then came back down. Seeing as we had time, we sat down in some chairs in the lobby to wait. Well, for some reason I decided to turn around in my chair (I had my back to the lobby) and I see Nick signing autographs. We jump up and walk over to him just as he's leaving (darn!) But I got a good picture of him, and my friend got a nice booty shot.
Then we knew that Howie was the only one left, and he wouldn't be down for awhile because a girl in the lobby had raised $325 for his Lupus Fund and was going to get to go up to his room to give it to him (Hi Allie e-mail me if you're reading this!) So she comes down, and then 5 mins. later Howie walks out. And I don't know what he did, but he looked SO much better than he did when I met him last year, I mean, he was HOT! Anyway, these girls standing next to me started crying because their friend had died and the BSB music helped them through it, or something like that (my deepest sympathy girls) and Howie looked really sad and gave all of them hugs, but he didn't really know what to say. They then gave him Hershey Kisses and he said that they were going to turn him into a "Fatstreet Boy" which for some reason was really funny. So I kinda laughed and then he stared right at me, smiled and winked, then came over and signed an autograph for me while I took his picture. Then he left, he winked at me once more before going out the door! So we knew that they had all left, so my friend and I went to our room, got something to eat, then headed to the venue to pick up our tickets. We had won the VH1 Save the Music Ticket auction and needed to get them at Will-Call. After about an hour and a half (there was a mix up or something, it was bad!) We got our tickets and ran into the venue just in time to see Krystal perform (oh yeah, we met her at the hotel as well, REALLY NICE!) So we get to our seats and their 8 rows off of the floor, right next to the ramp on the left side! Our friend Allie (girl who gave Howie Money) was two rows in front of us, a body guard had given her tickets! Anyway, you know how the show went, REALLY GOOD!!! So after the show we come back to the hotel and the police had closed the lobby, so we went up to our rooms and went to bed. The next morning my dad, friend, and I were heading down to go get breakfast and as were walking down the hall we see Howie's bodyguard go into Howie's room (he was down the hall from us!) We thought that was cool, but then when the elevator doors opened guess who was standing there? AJ!! (my fav)! AJ and his bodyguard moved over so that we could get into the elevator with them.
My dad said we looked like deer staring into headlights, haha. Anyway, my dad goes on to tell AJ we're his biggest fans and he smiled and was like "cool" (I could have beat my dad for that!) Then I told AJ what a great show it was last night and he said "Thanks, I really appreciate that, Thank you!" He said it like no one had told him that or something. Then my dad proceeded to tell him about the tickets we won (AJ had no idea what he was talking about...but it was cute because he goes) "Oh well, that must have been good, very cool!" Haha, he was probably thinking "who is this guy?!" so then we get off of the elevator with him and I say bye and he goes out the door. I didn't ask for a picture or autograph or anything, because I felt that in the situation we were in, it might have been rude or inapproiate! So anyway, that's pretty much my whole story! It was a lot of fun and I seriously think that no one treats their fans as good as the BSB do! I met them last year as well, and they are always extremely nice and go out of their way to give back to the fans! Even before Krystal took the stage we were all given the aweful news. Kevin didn'rt make it! He got stuck in our lousy Colorado weather. Everyone was pretty upset but the night was still great! Even with just 4 out of 5 the dancing was completely AWESOME! The pyro was impressive too. The highlight of the evening, for me, was the medley, the one with "How Did I Fall In Love With You. " Howie looked so so SO excredibly great! Although you could tell the bass voice was missing the guys definately amazed me with their heavenly voices. To say the least, anyone lucky enough to see this concert is in for the best night ever!

If you didn’t go to the Backstreet boys Black and blue world tour last night, you missed out on a lot. The day started out with my mom driving me to my friend’s house, and my friend, her mom and I going to the concert. The parking was pretty good. The show started at about 7:35pm but we arrived at about 6:30. There were tons of radio shows outside and tons of screaming girls although they were just trying to impress the news.
Then, the doors FINALLY opened. I was excited cause I didn’t get to go to the Denver Halloween concert last time so I had been waiting for this moment forever. We were walking up the line to where they were letting people in. I was really scared cause I never snuck a camera in before. They had a big bin and they were taking away posters. I thought that was really mean because those people spent a lot of work on them but let’s get back to the concert. The Tour programs were 20 dollars! I only brought 25 because the rest I spent on the ticket. I bought a glow stick and some pictures. Then we went up to our seats and they were so close, my best friend and me were about to cry! I thought the Pepsi Center would be a lot bigger but it wasn’t and I glad about that.
Then this guy that nobody knew who he was came out and announced that due to foggy weather and the closing of D.I.A. that Kevin had been stuck on a plane for 4 hours trying to get to the show and won’t be able to make it tonight. But he said the rest of the Backstreet Boys would be performing. So we were still happy. I mean Kevin’s married so not a lot of people are gonna miss him. JUST KIDDING!!
When 7:35 came around Krystal came up on stage. She walked on stage with this huge cape on covering her head and everything else. I was screaming cause personally I love Krystal, even more now but I’ll talk about that later. Well she started singing my religion you know, the song on the Burger King C.D.? Well she finished the first verse and then she threw back the hood of her cape and the audience like gasped and then cheered. It was sort of like her saying “this is me, you like me or you don’t.” Then she sang another song, which I am not sure what it was. Then she talked about how it was someone’s birthday (Brian’s) and that we should all sing Happy birthday to him. Then she sang her soon to be released single “Supergirl” and that is the coolest song, ever. Believe me you WANT her album if you haven’t heard of her. Then she announced that she was going to be signing autographs and my best friend and me were like YAH! So before she sang her last song we walked outside the arena to where she said she’d be signing.
There were so many people there but we were at the front of the line since we left when we did. We were so exited we were going to meet Krystal. While we were waiting in line the power went out for a second. Then it came back on and everyone was like okay whatever. Then after about ten minutes like 6 bodyguards walked out. Then in about another five Krystal walked out. Then this person told us that we could get an autograph and take a picture of her but not with her. I was kind of bummed but I would make it. They gave us her C.D. single for her to sign. Then we got up to her and I told her to sign it to Katie with an ie and she was like “okay.” Then I asked her if I could take a picture of her and she said sure and smiled for the camera (I need to get those pictures developed.) Then we went back to our seats and showed everyone what we got and told everyone that she was so nice and sweet.
Finally, after about an hour wait, the show started. All the lights went out and about 11 dancers came out in these long brown cloaks. Then on the screen they had a movie of the earth and meteors coming down. Then they had a lot of pyro stuff that is kind of hard to describe but I have pictures of it. Then the four remaining Backstreet Boys came out from the ground and started these dance moves that were sooo cool. They weren’t to any song they were just sort of like robots I guess you could say. So then after their groovy ol’ dance routine they started by singing “Everyone” and I was surprised that they started the show off with that but happy. Then they connected the ending of everyone with the beginning of “Larger than Life.” I loved how they did it and they even used the dance moves from the video so everyone was dancing. Then all the Backstreet Boys, well except for Kevin came out and talked about how it was Brian’s B-day that day and the whole audience sang for the second time happy birthday to Brian. It was soo funny because the song would go “Happy Birthday to you” and then Brian would be like “to me!” He can always crack me up.
Then they sang Shining Star and the whole arena was very dark and they had line stars in the air. It was soooo pretty! I love the dance moves to shining star! Nick sounded so hot! Well this may not be in order because I almost passed out quite a few times, but next was “What makes you different (makes you beautiful).” Howie’s voice sounded soo good. Next they did yes I will and they had these sparkly can things that they used for the dance moves. Next they did not for me and had some more HOT and I mean HOT dance moves.
Then the night mellowed down with “Show me the meaning of being lonely” which brought a tear to everyone in the audience. Then A Big flame appeared on the screen and they sung “I want it that way.” Then they all walked off the stage and the band played the tune to “As Long as you love me” and while they were doing that they were raising the little stage and they stopped playing. I though we were supposed to see the dressing room tape? Well then the boys floated out from under the little stage and sung “I’ll Never Break Your Heart.” Then they sang “How Did I fall in Love with you.” It was funny because it was a serious song and they had balloons flying at the boys and Howie threw it off the stage and the audience loved him for it. Well he didn’t throw it he was playing with it like the audience was.
Then they went into a little speech about how all the Backstreet Boys wrote the next song. Then the Catwalk lowered down and the Backstreet Boys walked across it (Nick First) and they sang “Time.” I got some good pictures of that. Okay this might not be in order okay?? Okay well if I have any memory they sang “If you Stay” from the booty call soundtrack. Then they went off for a costume change and then blasted out of the ground singing “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back)” and the audience loved it because they still have the same dance moves. This was a lively crowd. Go Denver!!!! Then if I recall they preformed “More than that” and I don’t have pictures from now on cause I ran out of film. Then the came on and did “Get Another Boyfriend” and I loved their dance moves. I wish I could explain but I can’t.
Then all the boys came out and talked about all their different charities. Then they performed “The Answer to Our lives” and had a video playing all the problems in the world behind them. Okay, I know this order is not right! Oh well now it will be. Then A.J. said this is the last song and says hold on a sec and got a phony phone call and that brought it into “The Call.” They have totally rocking’ dance moves! I can’t say that enough! Then they said goodnight for like a second and walked off the stage and everyone was like that was quick. Then they came back on and sang “Shape of my Heart.” I love Nick’s solo!!! Well then they did a little dance and got into their places and sunk back in to the floor. I used to brag because I had 11th row Christina Aguilera tickets but that is nothing compared to this show. If the boys ever top this they would have to create world peace!

Hi All! I went to my first BSB concert last night at the Pepsi Center in Denver, CO. Due to extremely foggy conditions our airport was shut down and Kevin's plane couldn't land. He was in L.A. at a photo shoot and didn't make it to the concert! My friend and I thought they were joking when they announced that he wouldn't be there, but when they offered refunds to everyone if they didn't stay for the show, we knew they weren't kidding. (As if anyone would leave!)
Well, aside from that little mishap, the show was awesome. The boys had to improvise when it came to some of the choreography to cover for the missing Kev. Nick sang most of Kev's parts during the show. We were 19 rows from the front of the stage so we got some great pics, especially when I ran up to the stage (and got sent back by the security guys.) The ramp that they use to go from the back stage to the front stage was right next to my seat! I brought a little pug dog for Nick and managed to launch it up to the ramp. Howie picked it up, but when he leaned over to sing by us, it slipped from his hands and fell back down to us! AAAAGH! Maybe I'll just mail it to Nick.
Anyway...we missed Kevin, drooled over the rest of the guys and can't wait for their next visit to Denver. Howie hinted that they may do a small summer tour, too - we'll see. Anyone that doesn't have tix to an upcoming show should try to get tickets no matter what. The boys were great! (Krystal was fantastic, too!)

Last night was the most incredible experience ever! I got to the Pepsi Center at like 4:45. Every news channel in Denver was there, and 5 radio stations were too. They finally let us in the doors at 6:45. I bought a glow stick and one of those key chains that goes around your neck and it was $28 total. We had seats on the floor in the center in the 8th row. But this is even better...the guards let us move up to seats that were in the third row that nobody was sitting in, so we were like 15 feet away from them! The crowd was deafening, the music great, and the whole night was just a blast!!
But here comes the sucky part.....KEVIN DIDN’T PERFORM!!He wasn’t even there. I was so pissed off. Even though Nick is my favorite, I was still mad that Kevin wasn’t there. This guy came out onstage before Krystal performed and read a statement about how his plane couldn’t land because of “inclement weather.” He was in LA for a photo shoot that morning, and his flight to Denver got cancelled. I felt so bad for the girls who came just to see Kevin. He has bad luck with Denver shows. Last time, he sprained his wrist snowboarding, and had to wear a sling the whole concert!
Well, I thought Krystal was great. She has the most beautiful voice! She didn’t so a duet with AJ, which I thought she was supposed to do, but that’s ok. She had us sing Happy Birthday to B-Rok. I got her single for free as we were walking out of the Pepsi Center after the concert. But anyways, back to the boys...the four that were there anyways!!
The beginning of the show was scary! I thought my face was going to burn off when all that pyro started happening! They all looked so great. Nick had these sunglasses on, and oh yeah he looked good! During the show they threw a bunch of stuff out into the audience (well the floor seats). They threw water bottles, a purple stuffed bear, a t-shirt, and nick threw his sleeve off his shirt. He also squirted us with his water, which i got in my mouth because I was screaming. So I can’t decide if its cool that I got is water in my mouth, or just plain gross.
Anyways, the bridge thing was AMAZING!! They were so close, that if you stood on your chair, you were like 2 feet away from them! Two funny things happened during the bridge. I had a Burger King crown on my head that had Happy Birthday Brian written on it, and when he saw it he smiled, and gave me a thumbs up. Then he made the cutest face for a pic I took. Then, Nick too out his ear piece thing, and my friend yelled “Nick has a nice ass” he turned and looked at her and blew her a big kiss! It was sooo cute! During Shape Of My Heart, Nick took this little girl up on stage, and was rocking her. It was the most adorable thing!
I can only remember some of the songs that they sang, so here they are. If anyone has the complete list, and could send it to me that would be great! I took four rolls of film, which was kind of crazy, but I can’t wait to get them developed. I thought the concert was excellent...the boys had the most pure innocent smiles. They looked like kids in a candy shop. I could tell that they are having the time of their lives! It was great! If you haven’t gone you will have a blast! It is truly an experience to remember!! OMG!! It was such a good show. Excpet something was missing....oh yeah, KEVIN!!!! Kevin got stuck in Los Angeles...the weather was pretty crappy in Denver & they closedthe airport so Kevin couldn't get in...=( The show was still awesome it was just weird watching only 4. AJ came out & was like everyone knows today is a special day (broks bday) & he said we have a tradition that we have to emabarass him & sing...so we all sang & when we sang happy bday to Brian, Brian said thats me! with this big grin on his face...it was so cute.
All of the Boys sounded really good. The dancing was awesome...the dancers were really good, not that I was really watching them =). Even though Kevin wasn't there it was still really good, in my opinion its their best tour yet!! I can't wait to go back!!!!!!!
