All I can say about the whole show was WOW! I mean, i had by far the crapiest seats but I could still see the stage, tell who was who, and i had those rental binoculars, so it was all good. the show was pumped, esp. "everyone,"(which was the first song), "larger than life," and "get another boyfriend." They sang all the songs off of Black and Blue, although i cannot recall hearing "it's true"...they sang "all i have to give" (which i was so thankful for cuz it's my favorite song), "everybody," "i want it that way," and "show me the meaning of being lonely." They had a bunch of pyros, which was sooooo tyte....they had that really cute, hysterical "bsb wardrobe" thing and when they moved to the bulls-eye-stage, which was closer to us, i was soooo happy...the show was pumped....i won't give away too much...if you want a fuller review, come to my website at http://www.angelfire.com/md/stephsnickhaven/index.html

OK...THAT WAS DEFINATELY THE BEST NIGHT OF MY LIFE! The show was sooo incredible!

Things started off slow. We waited over an hour and a half in line for them to start taking tickets. When they finally did we had to join the sea of fans wanting to get t-shirts, glo-ticks, pictures, and programs. When we finally started the long walk around the center to our seats, the anticipation mounted. I was sooo excited, my friend and I were running to our seats. When we took our seats I heard my name being yelled from the side of the center we were on and it was my friend Megan. She was a few sections down and I have no idea how she picked me out of all the people that were there.

When the lights went down and Krystal came out, things got crazy. She was introduced by a local radio station DJ and then by Kev. She sings really great! I think she'll go far on her voice, because at times me and my friend were just like Wow...

It took about a half an hour for the stage hands to set up the stage for the boys. Everyone in the stands was doing the wave and chanting "Backstreet Boys." When the lights dimmed, it was deafning.

They popped up and began to sing "Everyone." That was awesome and the dance moves were incredible. I still remember how they point out into the audience as they sing "Evveryone." The show went on with "Larger Than Life" and I was dancing along in the audience. That song was sooo good. I don't think Nick saw my body sway though. They finshed up the first few up-tempos and then came out to do "Yes I Will" and "More Than That." I can't remember the song order. I often seized the chance to scream "I love you Nick" when the crowd was silent in between screaming.

They kept the show going and then they brought out "The Trunk." All of the boys jumped in and Nick was sooo cute when he did! He jumped in and then popped back up. I could've died then! The footage of them changing was hilarious! You have to pay special attention to what they're saying because it's really loud in there from the screams.

They came back out on the center stage that was right in front of us. That was soo awesome!!! We were like the only ones with glow sticks in our section so if you saw the glow stick, you saw us. Plus I was jumping up and down and waving my glo-stick everywhere.

Kev was on our side and he looked out into our section and put his hands to his brow, saw us, pointed, and waved. I was jumping up and down and screaming his name. That left me speechless. Howie then came over and was singing and pointed and waved at us. My friend said he winked at us. I don't remember if he did or not. Brian came over

next, my friend's favortie, and I was screaming to help us get noticed. He finally looked and smiled and waved. My friend Blair about died. She was taking pics of him and then the big screen on stage. She like took 10 of him and the screen. I had to take the camera from her, b/c we needed a lot more pics. When Nick came out later on though, guess who had the camera and took a bunch? Me!

Anyways...back to the story. When the started to walk across the bridge to the main stage, Howie saw us again, b/c somehow the arena got light down on the audience, not a lot of light, but enought to see faces. He saw us jumping up and down and waving our arms back and forth. He waved again and then moved his arms the same crazy way we were, it was really funny. They were really sweet to all the fans by waving and interacting with the fans. Sadly, Nick didn't come over to our side when they were on the lil stage. He planted his nice butt on the stage with his back facing us. I was really upset about that. I dunno if everyone else saw this, but near the very end of "Time" Nick gave Bri a kiss on the cheek. I thought that was soo sweet. I was like Blair take the pic now!! She missed that sweet brother to brother moment, but it is forever etched in my mind.

The show after that point was just amazing, they did my fav song "The Answer To Our Life." I was soo happy when that song came on and Nick sang. He looked soo happy to be there then. When they sang "If You Stay" I loved the dancing and the cowboy hats. That must have been my fav part of the show when they danced to "If You Stay." It was just mind boggling how incredible they are. If Nsync saw them dance last night they would be biting their nails, because they were truely amazing. There were no fumbles or mess ups at all that I saw. "The Call, "Get Another Boyfriend, and "Everybody" were their best up-tempo songs. The screams were unbelievably loud as the words "Am I sexual?" escaped Nick's mouth.

Shape of my heart was a great way to end the show. I was soo sad when they took their final bow that I cried. I got to spend almost 2 hours breathing Backstreet air and listening to the 5 most talented guys on the planet sing their hearts out though!

We stayed til mostly everyone was gone and I screamed out "I love you Nick!" Someone answered back and said "I love you too Nick!" It was funny.

My Backstreet Concert Experience was incredible! I couldn't have asked for a better way to spend my Friday night! All of you that are going to a show in the next 2 months, you will have an amazing time! I can't wait til the summer dates are announced and the tickets go on sale. I would do anything to see them again on this tour!

If anyone went to the DC show, email me and we can chat about everything that happened!

KTBSPA!!

Now this has been my 3rd time seeing BSB, and finally I get good seats.

~~Ok can i start out by saying "holy $*@# !!!" First of all me and my friend Paul drove 4hrs from NJ to go to this show. But we had 3rd row seats so it made it all worth it.

Ok so we get to the venue at like 7:00. The elevators were so damn crowded that we took some other elevator which was way back in some little corner of the place...oops, heehee. We told the guy in the elevator we didn't no where to go so he took us down to the main floor and said "when you get out of the elevator, make a left." So we did(and little did we know, going left leads to their dressing room...hey we just went where the guy told us to, heehee), so then we see a woman security guard sitting there, so we asked her where to go. She said she didn't know and that she wasnt allowed to leave her post. She said "I know your supposed to go that way," and pointed straight ahead. Then she said "because that's their dressing room right there." I was like "OH MY GAWD!!!" She said "wait here and let me have someone come and help you guys find your seats, and maybe by the time she comes you'll get to see the BSB if they come out of their room." I started freakin. Then we see the Meet And Greet room. And people started to pile up into that room. Those lucky son of a #&@!*%$. And then she said "I should just let you go in with them(to the Meet And Greet)." But another guard nearby said that the guards in the Meet And Greet room aren't gonna let us in without passes. DAMN! Then the woman guard asked me who my fave BSB was, and I was like "Nick!"

Anyway, so the "escort" finally comes and takes us to our seats. And halfway to our seats the lights go out and I was like "Ahhh I can't see!" Ok so we finally make our way to our seats. Then we notice that there's a big space between 1st and 3rd row because the 2nd row had about 6 seats missing right in front of us. So we moved our seats up to the empty space. So now we're in 2nd row! Wooo hooo! Then Krystal Harris comes out. She sings a few songs, and the last song she sings is Jackson Five's "I'll Be There."

At about 8:30, on the screen, they start showing the world spinning and meteors coming down and hitting the earth, and every time a meteor hit, a pyro went off. Then BSB finally come "blasting out" with tons of pyro. And let me tell you, every time a pyro went off I could feel the heat on my face, woh! It was cool though. The first one scared the crap outta me, hahaha. Anyway, after standing still for a few minutes, they start off with these cool dance moves and then they sang "Everyone." I don't really remember the order in which the rest of the songs were sang, all I remember is that "Everyone" was first and "Shape Of My Heart" was last.

Ok so here comes the highlight of my night. I don't remember who waved at me first but I think it was Kevin. Not sure. He started waving at me and I started waving back. He's still looking at me and then he smiles. And I'm still waving, so he waves at me again. I was sooo excited! Then I think AJ was next. As he was walking by he looks over at me cause I'm waving at him, he points at me and smiles. Now Brian might have been next but he waved at me several times during the show, and was the last person to wave at me, so Brian was probably next...I really don't know but it doesn't matter. But let's just say Nick was next. Ok. So Nick and the rest of them are right in front me. And I'm trying to get Nick's attention cause ya know, he's my honey...heehee. Anyway I finally get his attention. So he looks at me and I'm waving and smiling from ear to ear. So he starts waving at me and then he looks down at his tattoo, I dunno maybe he had an itch or something, but then he looks at me again cause I'm still waving at him, so he waves at me again(woo hoo mission accomplished!). Now Brian waved at me several times all through the show, I don't remember how many times. But the last time he waved at me was during "Shape Of My Heart," during Nick's part I think because he wasn't singing. He was standing right in front of me looking at something way up in the audience, maybe a poster or something, who knows. Anyway, so he's making a funny face at whatever he's looking at, so I start laughing and he happens to look over at me while I'm laughing, and then he starts laughing. Then he puts his arms up in the air and makes a cute face(while looking at me), then he starts laughing again, then I start laughing again, and we're both just laughing. Then he waves at me and walks away. You rock Brok! Everyone waved at me except Howie. Oh well, that's ok. Then a few minutes later, they take a bow and the show is over.

You rock BSB! Thank you for making 2/2/01 the best night of my life!~~

After missing the opening act, my mother and I arrived at the MCI Center about 30 minutes before our Boys came out. They opened with "Everyone," and "Larger Than Life." They all looked good, especially Nick, Brian, and Kevin. AJ also looked awesome in the blue shirt and leather pants, but Howie on the other hand seemed sick. The entire night he was off with his dance moves, and he just didn't seem to have the pizazz he usually does. They did the cane routine with perfection in their white leather outfits. After they slower portion of the show, they showed us their wardrobe room. They then appeared out of nowhere in the middle of the crowd on a small round platform. I was within 80 feet of them, and Kevin waved to us several times.

This was by far the best part of the show; watching them just be themselves: Brian smiling and making adorable faces; AJ hamming it up; Kevin just chillin and interacting with the audience; Howie putting everything into the music; and Nick having fun and making girls scream. They then lowered the "bridge" so to speak and the boys walked over the audience back to the stage singing "Time" and dedicating it to each and every one of us. My mother was having a great time, and then "The Call" came, and they gave us an awesome new dance routine, falling into the floor as they sang, "gotta go." Finally, the show came to a close as the boys appeared in their tye dye shirts to perform "Shape of My Heart" as their encore. The show ended with a good display of fire and streamers, as well as small firecrackers and sparkling lights. I have been to 4 concerts now, every tour they've ever done here in the states, and I would have to say that this was the biggest production yet. The only song they didn't perform was "It's True" and they also left out "Quit Playin' Games" and "As Long As You Love Me." If you have tickets for this tour, you won't be disappointed. I just have to say that each and every one of them is so cute in their own way, whether it's their charm, their good looks, or their incredible singing voice. It was my mom's first BSB concert, and she enjoyed herself very much and said it was one of the best concert she'd ever been to. I can't wait until they come back this summer for a stadium show.... but for now, "gotta go."

I went to the bsb concert!!!!!! All I can say is that it was amazing. They gave one hundred percent. I even saw high school guys there. The fans showed their support all the way. They showed scenes from the video for two songs, and the dressing room thing was so funny.

They talked about their charities about about the enviroment too! You go guys! They sang so well, and really worked the crowd.

They started with meteors hitting the earth, it was so loud, and the special effects were really good. Then they came out with everyone. I loved all the songs they did.

My mom said that the backstreet boys sing very well. She said that they were talented, and liked the concert. Before the concert, she asked if I liked bsb more than nsync. I said yes. She asked why.

I said it was because they had better music and much much better voices. She said she agreed and that nsync seemed childlish ( I think she meant they seemed younger, while bsb seemed older and experienced).

I totally agreed of course. Bsb definetly proved they were more than a boy band. The beginning of the concert was so cool. I like bsb more than ever.

The opening act was good too. She had a beautiful voice. She had bad songs, and sang I'll Be There in a way I didn't like. I love that song, but mariah sings it better. She rocked the stage with the microphone, putting it in weird angles, lol. She played the piano a little too. She seemed really sincere, and said that she loved the backstreet boys and thanking everyone for giving her this opportunity. The concert was one of the best i've ever been to. Bye

HEY~ i went to the Feburary 2nd show last night, and it was SOOOOO good. i can't even put it into words!

Me and my friend mary got to our seats @ about 7 'o clock. My dad had gotten me 2nd row center, after about 20 minutes of realizing where we were sitting, we sat and waited.

Then Krystal came out... SHE WAS SOOOOOOOO GOOD.. just one thing, her fake piano skills need to improve! Her voice is beutiful, but i think maybe her songs are a lil' iffy.

We only had krystal as an opening act, so we waited for like 45 minutes, and bsb came out @ like 8:30! On the screen there was a meteor shower hitting earth, If you're close like i am, get ready to scream, everytime a meteor hits on the screen, a big burst of fire goes on the stage! The dancers came out in some really wierd costumes.. But then i saw 5 things of smoke come up from the ground! THE BACKSTREET BOYS! AHH! They started with "everyone", and the dance moves kicked @ss! ohh it was so cool! they sang larger than life and shining star (which was soooo great!). then they left and kevin came back and kinda talke to us for awhile... i realized something, KEVIN IS GOURGEOUS! from where i was sitting, i could see his green eyes, and oh lordy, he's sooooo beutiful! Anyways, then they sang "yes i will", when they first came out, i turned to mary and said "THEY LOOK LIKE OLD MEN!" because they had these cane things, but it turned out looking very cool!

for awhile, everything is kinda blur! i was either SCREAMING my head off, or in a wierd moment of zen. Let me tell you, NICK LOOKS SOOOOOOOOOOOOO HOT! Aj (my fave) is sexy like always, and he his GREEEAT pelvic thrusts! Kevin, like i said is sooo gourgeous! Howie, is soooooooo cute! During some parts, he just shoke his booty but he was adorable! Plus HE LOOKED AT ME! OH Brian Is very nice with the audience, always waving and stuff. Ok back to the show..

after one of the songs, nick started pulling on aj's wifebeater, and @ first i was like "What the hell?" but then nick said "Aj, you really need to change!" and Aj turned around and said "Dude, you're wearing the same thing i am!". They started playing around, asking if they should change their clothes.. Brian was looking @ this little girl in first row and kept waving and asking "should i take it off?" It was so cute! But then some guys brought out a blue trunk that said BACKSTREET WARDROBE and brian went in, then nick and howie, then aj said "NOW it's the aj and kevin show!" and they started doing some really dorky dancing! Then aj said " you know what they say, beauty before age, SEE YA!" and jumped in the trunk! Then kevin closed it and said "TAke this and throw it in the bottom of the potomac" Which was rreally cool, considering he knew about the potomac river, any howard, then he was like "naw, just kidding y'all" and he jumped in! And a video started playing of them in the dressing room, i missed the beginning because me and mary knew a secret so we started moving to where they were gonna pop out, but some security guy was like " You need to go back to your seats!" and i was like AGH! so we started back to our seats, BUT THEN some lady was like, "i need to see your tickets," and of course we had left them @ our seats, so we were like "uhhh" and some OTHER security guy came over and he was like "just let them go, i know they sit here," it was kinda funny, any ways, i finished watching the video, and they popped out on the other side of the arena. I kept turning my head, i couldn't decide between looking at the real thing far away, or the fake thing on the screen. when they sang "how did i fall in love with you", i cryed AGH i didn't think i was going to! HERES THE BIG PART, When they sang time, and big catwalk came down RIGHT ABOVE me and marys seats, so we tryed moving over, she went to the left and i went to the right. This part, i will never forget... Brian was singing RIGHT BY ME, and during a part when aj was singing, i screamed "BRIAN, BRIAN HIIIIII!!!!" and he turned to me and waved and said "hi!" and i SCREAMED "I LOVE YOUUUUU!" And he blew me a kiss! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH lordy, he was so perfect looking, like an angel! ANYWAYS, then they went on the stage and sang " the answer to our life" Again, the show was a blur for me... I remember they introduced the band and the dancers, and then they left while the dancers all showed off, and then all of a sudden i heard " EVVERYBODDYYY!" and they pooped up from the ground! Aj started singing, and his voice, he sound reeeeeeeally bored and he sang with absouleutly NO ENTHUSIASM "Oh my god... we're ..." and then "BACK AGIAN!!!!!!" and it was soooo cute! i remember the only time he showed his stomach was during the bridge he said "and if you wanna party let me year you SCREAM!" and i was like *drool*. "get another boyfriend" was a GREAT performance, "The call " was soooo funky, and then they left.. YEA RIGHT... Mary and i has brought these lil' beanie babies with notes on them (and our phone numbers), and during "shape of my heart" (the encore), we threw em' up, a minute later, kevin picked them up, and we FREAKED! KEVINS HAND WAS ON MY BEANIE BABY! AHHHHHHHHHHH so after that the show was over. after ppl had already left, i couldn't stop sssscreaming! SO that's my lil' review thingy, THE SHOW WAS SOOOOOOO GOOD, and i can't wait to have the pix developed! THANX FOR READING, email me for anything! BYE!- Sam

Black & Blue Tour - Feb. 2nd, 2001

Ok everyone. Here it goes:

We had nosebleed seats, but they were actually kind of nice. We were kind of situated backstage..but you could still see most of the stage. The Bsb has 2 stages, the big one and a little one on the other side of the MCI Center. They had a bridge connecting the two, so they spanned the entire place. Our seat position allowed us to see under the stage and behind it, so we kind had the "backstage" view. Although we didn't see any SKIN, we did see wordrobe racks and other equipment that others didn't get to see.

They put on such a good show. I have to admit that was the most well put together show I've seen (and I've seen about 12 concerts). They always seem to get everyone in the arena involved, thats what I love about them.

My favorite songs they performed were Get Another Boyfriend, Not For Me, and More Than That. The two faster songs were really well choreographed and they had little things that tied in w/ the song (like when they sang "I found a note with this number, it's just another clue that leads to you" they pulled out the note and the girl grabbed it). And during More Than That they had the girls dancing, they looked like ballerinas, it was so beautiful.

Me and my best friend Meg talked about this last night/this morning....it was different being more mature and going to the concert. This was my 4th concert and sure we were screaming for them, but if by some freak miracle we met them, I wouldn't FREAK OUT and cause a scene. I could see myself actually having an intelligent conversation with them. They are more grateful when a calm and polite fan comes up to them and talks to them...and doesn't just say "Omgod, Omgod, you are so hot". I mean sure, they aren't bad on the eyes, I admitted that a long time ago, but thats not what they set out to do. They set out to make beautiful music people would enjoy. I enjoy it more now than I did in '97 when I first heard them. It's been 4 years, and I know I've grown when I no longer PANT when I see them! Its a different kind of excitment now, something that I can't describe. I just stood there and took it all in...it was amazing. I'm sure other people know exactly what I'm talking about.

Washington DC (2/2) BSB Black and Blue Concert!!

First off, let me just say I have NEVER had as much fun as I did tonight. The Boys were INCREDIBLE! They all looked so very hott and sounded sooo good. I just got tickets the night before the concert, so I was pretty happy that I just atleast got tickets!

At first, my friend and I just walked around looking for people we knew and bought our t-shirts, glow sticks, pictures, posters, the usual. After 40 minutes or so of doing that, we headed to find our seats. Section 7 floor. I knew these seats were far back and I really wasn't sure if I would be able to see. Well, let me tell ya, I surely ended up seeing!!

Once the concert started, I knew that Krystal was going to be the opening act. I had heard some of her songs on the BSB Burger King Blue CD and so I knew she had a good voice. I was impressed for the most part on her performance. She reminds me a bit of Pink, just her voice. I think I will go out and buy her new CD, Me and My Piano (I think that's it)

Once again, we waited for like an hour for the show to start. As the first booom of pyro shot up EVERYONE was screaming. At first their dancers came out and did some moves. Then there were the boys... nice and high in the air where we could see them. I think they were on an individual lift thingy. It was soo amazing. They started with Everyone and followed with Larger than Life. Excellent way to start off a concert!

After a couple more songs, they took a breather by taking us into thier dressing room... of course it is just a recording, but the video they show is hilarious! You can just see the guys goofing off being themselves.

Next part of the concert was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!! They came RIGHT by our section during the video. I knew they were going to be singing at least one song from the small circle stage. On How Did I Fall In Love With You, Nick, AJ, and Kevin sat down and just chilled while Howie and Brian sang. Because Nick was the one that was facing our section/general area (which isn't a bad thing at all cuz he's my fav!) he was kinda interacting with the audience. He kept telling us (by gestures) to just take in the music and relax. Jeez, he looked soooo hott! After three songs there.... they headed back to thier main stage on a bridge that went across the whole floor seats while singing Time. I was literally like 15 feet away from them, and I swear Howie waved to me. My seats were now definitely satisfying!!

After heading back, they did Not For Me and some other songs off the Black and Blue album. They then talked about how each of them were starting thier own foundation or helping out other people. I was impressed with Nicks idea to help save the waters and environment. The guys really work their butts off and they deserve more credit for what they do. Then they sang Answer To Our Life which was apart of the whole environmental conversation beforehand. They had pics of all these horrible things that are going on in the environment like oil spills and polluting.

AJ came out and told us all to scream as loud as we possibly could because they were recording for a Brazil show or something like that. The whole place was sooo loud with screams, I loved it!!

They ended the night with Get Another Boyfriend, The Call, and then Shape of My Heart. I have never ever been so happy in my entire life! They made my year!!!

NGC u'll ALWAYS be 4 me!! KTBSPA, aaight? ~Laura

~E-Mail me if you went to a concert if you want to!! I'd love to chat about the guys!

the costumes they had for the show were really cool I liked the ones for "Get Another Boyfriend" the best! And I loved the cane dance! You definetly have to see for yourself~! Have a Backstreet day!!
