Black and Blue Concert In Pittsburgh

Date: Feb 11, 2001
Submitted By: Tony Leppo

Well once again I am one of them very few male bsb fans that respect the Backstreet Boys. This was the first bsb concert I have ever been to and believe me there are many more to come in which I will see. I feel the whole set up of the stage was awesome. I luckely had a seat in which was close enough to the addition stage set up they had when they sang I Promise You and How did I fall In Love With You. I love the noise from the fans I still have loose in my ears. I also liked many of the other extra things they did in the concert, but i will not explode out with all the surprises. I thought I enjoyed the Nsync concert, but BSB topped this a trillion times more. I really could not hear the vocals at the nsync concert, but i heard bsb's vocals perfectly proving that BSB does have better quality in setting up their concerts. I also think BSB inproved in their dancing skills. I love the dancing and up tempo songs. The just made me realize that they have atleast another 5 to 8 years more of wonderful music left as a group, maybe even more. I hope BSB comes back to Pittsburgh and I hope maybe one day i will meet them and let them notice that males do respect what they do and it is not just the females that enjoy their musical vocals and awesome dance moves they put together. Hopefully the B&B concert will have a video out so i can learn some new dances to do at karaoke nights and talent shows. Well That is my review. In all i give this concert a 300 out of 100. Those are all bonus points cause BSB is just that good. And by the way I am not gay if i listen to BSB lol. Most people think that, but i like girls alot and the only reason I listen to BSB is cause i don;t need to hear about people rapping about doing drugs or raping girls. Thats all I understand from rap these days. Any wayz thanx for the people that read this. IF you want to reply go ahead and shoot.

Peace ladies,

the true male BSB fan,

Tony

I feel this is the concert of the year. And will always be remembered as one of the best I have ever seen.

I went to the BSB concert last night in Pittsburgh. And i have to say that it was sooooo AWESOME!! It was even better than their Millenium show. I had section E seats...which I thought were going to be bad...but they were great seats. I was just happy to get ANY tickets. Their opening act had a great voice and could turn out to be a really big star. The best part was when they came to the smaller stage behind the floor seats and sang a few slow songs, including INBYH and TIPY(WEIA). Whenever they were walking around I kept waving and Brian noticed me and waved back and pointed...then made a binocular thing up to his eyes with his hands...like he was looking at me!!! I will NEVER forget that in my life! They all looked fine...especially Nicky..he kept goofing off and acting real cute.(just like he always does)They started with Everyone, then Larger Than Life, than Shooting Star...they ended with Get Another B/f, The Call, and their first single Shape of My Heart. The dancing was great, they sounded terrific, and looked fine. It was the best time I've had all my life. My next goal...to meet them...but it probably won't happen :( ...if you could help me meet them email me. Thanxs. KTBSPA~

Pittsburgh, Feb. 8, BEST CONCERT EVER

First of all, i would just like to say one thing....OMG!!! I went to the BSB concert at the Mellon Arena last night, it was by far the BEST experience of my ENTIRE life. I went o the concert with my cuz from WV. We ad seats in section C15. So they weren't bad seats at all. The concert started with Krystal, she blew me away, she is sooo talented and i cannot wait to buy her cd. I wanted to go meet her, but i didn't want to miss the boys. After they got the stage set up and everything, the lights went out. The concert started off with a bang ( literally) and there were the boys. AH....they looked soooooooo good! Everyone and Larger than life got the crowd pumpin. I wish i would've been closer to see Nick (my fav) better. Well i would have to say my favorite part was Nicks little dance moves :) not to mention the way he asked "Am I Sexual?" while he was layin on the ground. There was a mini stage behind the soundboard that the boys came up on, we were RIGHT IN FRONT OF IT! Of course Nick had to face the other way, but Brian waved to us, so that made up for everything! I have been to quite a few concerts in my life time, and this was by far the best, and i don't think ANYTHING could top it. These five boys ( or shall i say men) know how to entertain and put on a show, and that is why i love them so much. I am just so glad that they finally came to Pittsburgh! I hope they come back soon!!

I hope all of you that have concerts coming up enjoy them! I know i did!!

Backstreet Boys in New Jersey and Pittsburgh!

I got tickets for the tour back in December when they went on sale. I paid $50 for my ticket in New Jersey, and I just went home and went to that show on Saturday night. I was in the second to last row in the arena, but that really didn't matter! As long as I was in the same place as the boys were, that's all that mattered to me! "Everyone" was a great song to start with, and "Larger Than Life" seemed like a crowd pleaser. My favorite songs of the night had to be "I Want It That Way", "The Call" and "Time". All the boys were looking their best and tried to wave to all the fans and move around the stage to see everyone. I was lucky enough to get 2 tickets for Pittsburgh for $15 each, and went to that show just last night! It was definitely worth the 3 hour drive from my school to see them 2 times in one week. Of course the show was the same, but I love them so much that I couldn't pass up the chance to see them again. Also, Krystal has an amzing voice and I like the song "My Religion" and also "Supergirl". I wish her the best of luck in the future. KTBSPA now and forever!

OMG!! I don't even know where to start!!! Their concert was such a beast!!! What started it off being so great is when me and a bunch of other people saw A.J. and Howie get off of the buses!!!!! But when their concert started it was great!! They had tons of special effects and everything. From there dance moves to the special effects to how they interacted with the auidence!!!!! Even though I was up in peanut heaven I was still able to see who each and everyone was and have a great time!!!!! No one will ever be able to top this concert!! EVER!!! All I have to say is that I am still in shock and I really hope I get to see them again real soon!!!!!

What can you say about a Backstreet Boys concert besides: AMAZING? It was worth the money and worth the 3 hour drive there and 3 hour drive back. I'm not gonna bore you with the details of what they sang and did, because it's the same as everyone else's. I want to emphasize the showmanship these incredible men have.

It was a full 2 hours of nonstop dancing and singing. Alot of people put down the BSB becuase they're not a "real band", but that is CRAP. They give it there all every show they do. They're alive, funny, great dancers, and still sing on pitch. When you see how they work and relate together on stage, you know its true that they really are like family.

Their crowd interatction is great. Brian is always waving, pointing, and trying to make someone feel special. AJ loves "workin' for the ladies". Kevin is about the shout outs, Howie does alot of talkin' and he has the hugest smile, and Nick just gives everything his all. I didn't sit close enough for waves, smiles or winks, but no matter where you are in the arena, you are their's and they're singing for you even if they have no idea who you are or what you look like.

I also need to give it up to the crowd that night! We were alive with energy. We were all pleasantly surprised with Krystal. I would describe her as Pink with a piano and great melodic voice. She has an edge and a performance value unlike none other.

This was the best night of my life. In 18 yrs I dont think that I have smiled continuously for 2 hours, but I did with the Backstreet Boys.

*note to the boys: y'all rock!*

Hey ya'll...i absolutly LOVED the bsb concert at the Mellon arena last night in Pittsburgh! The opening act Krystal was really good...she had an amazing voice.

We didnt have really good seats..somewhere up in D8 but they were much MUCH better than I expected them to be.

I loved every part of the show..Not for me was AMAZING I just loved it, and Everyone, What makes you differnt, and The Call were awsome! i loved the dressing room scene! from where we were we could only see half of the screen because of lights and things being in our way. I know that everyone already knows by now what happens so im not going to tell all of that stuff, except it was just amazing! I cried because I was soo happy to be there! Nick and everyone looked good as usual!
