BSB in Minneapolis, MN

I am a mature BSB fan--over 30. I was in row 36 of 40 rows on the floor at the Target Center last evening. I SO ENJOYED the small stage in the BACK of the arena. It was about ten minutes of pure joy to be that close to the guys. They looked great, sounded great... and I thought the show was every bit as good as the Millenium tour. As a mature fan, I really love their ballads. I know they've been ripped on by some "reviewers" for having too many slow songs. But, you know what, they are what they are. We love them, and that's all that matters.

After reading a lot of the other reviews I thought that maybe I should just write down the list of the songs they sang, just for those of you who aren't going to see the show but would like to know. Although my memory isn't the best the order was some what like this: Everyone Larger than life Shinning Star (watch Howie's sexy hips) Yes I Will What makes you special More Than That Show Me the meaning I want it that way I'll Never break your heart I promis you How did I fall in love(o. M. G. ) Time The Answer to our lives Not For ME All I have to give (dissappointing) get Another Boyfriend The Call The Shape of My Heart The show was great....Loved all of the pyro, the second stage was such a surprise, and it was nicer to see less of the dancers, and more of the boys... Unlike Into The Millennium. Howie surprised me by really shinning through, and Kevin's sense of humor was great. The lack of some signature songs was a let down, but expected. How could you see a show without Quit playing games, as long as you love me or the one....Oh well, I guess you can't have it all.

We got there around 6:00 and KDWB was having a banner contest for the best sign so we decided to stick around because we didn't have anything else to do. This guy picked 5 signs to be finalists for seats on the floor. There were these girls with a cell phone sign and it opened up and it had an attena and everything and it was awesome so of course they won. (Congrats to you guys if you're reading this!) So anyway, they let us into the place where they perform at about 6:45 and we went right to our seats. We weren't too thrilled with them but I guess we were just happy to be there, in the same building. Everywhere in the arena you can see just fine! We went and got our glowsticks and ice cream (hehe yumm) and then went back to our seats again.

It seemed like forever until Krystal came out. They showed Kevin on a big screen talking about how good of a voice she has. She came out in a black robe and a hood on. She started singing My Religion and I was the ONLY one screaming the whole time, everyone was sitting down. She went over to the piano and was headbanging and playing the piano.. haha it was halarious. Then she sang another song I didn't know and then Supergirl. And then another song. She was cool except she kept carrying her mic stand everywhere she went and it was SO annoying.

The lights came back on and it was about a 10-15 minute wait until the lights went out again and the meteors were on the screen attacking the earth. Every time those red things exploded, it scared the hell out of me! Everything was smokey and then they rose up out of the floor and I started crying... life was perfect then and there with the guys. They sang Everyone and then Larger Than Life. Almost everyone sat down around us after the second song. The crowd SUCKED! Hardly anyone was screaming (except us) and we didn't get to sing Happy Birthday to Brian. I forgot the order all the songs came in but then came the pre-recorded Dressing Room video. I was trying to scream and laugh at the same time so I kinda sounded like a dying bird.

Then as I expected, they highered out of the 2nd round stage in the middle and me and some other people went up and stood by the railing in the upper level. I got some really awesome pictures and there were awesome close-ups of them on the big round screen which was really cool. At one point Nick was standing on the thing that the drums were on and he jumped off of it backwards and his shirt flew up and you could see his white boxers! Woo, that was the best part of the night! At the end, AJ was over on the right wing and a girl almost pulled him off the stage and he would have fallen if the security guard wouldn't have pushed her away. Personally, I thought the Millennium tour was much better (maybe because I had awesome seats), but this concert went so fast.. I can't remember anything!

For anyone who is going in the future, SCREAM as loud as you can and stay on your feet!... oh, and HAVE FUN!

Last night was the best night of my life! I am naturaly a Backstreet fan and this boosted my pride up big time!!! When I first got there, Krystal started singing. She's got a great voice but isn't the best performer. Then, finally, the screens lowered and there was this movie of astroids hitting the earth. There were these HUGE booms and blasts of light. For people that don't like the noise, like myself, bring ear plugs! The rest of the noise isnt bad though! My seats were right on the side and when they walked over there I was like 10 feet away!!!!!!! OMG, Nick and Kevin looked sooooooooo fine! They all did though! The songs that really stick out in my head are Everyone, Shinging Star, The Answer To Our Lives and, of course, Shape of My Heart. I cried during that one! So for anyone who is still waiting for that special night, It'll come quick and you'll have a BLAST!!!!!!! CYA YA'LLS LATER!

WOW! I just got back from the Backstreet Boy concert at the Target Center in Minneapolis. Let me tell you... this was one heck of a show! As I tell you about tonight, I am still wearing my black-and-blue decorated beater, and my ears are still ringing!

I was going to the concert with my best friend (Katie), her mom, and my friend Alex's aunt. Alex was gonna come with, but then she remembered she had a skating compettion this weekend so she couldn't. But anyways, on with my review...

I started getting ready to leave at about 3:30. I was ready by about 5:30, and I went over to Katie's house (we live right next door) and we left around 5:45. We went to pick up Alex's aunt, Cathy, and then we were off to the concert! We played Black & Blue all the way there. When we got to the parking ramp to pay, I waved to the guy and was all like friendly to him. lol It was funny. When we got inside the Target Center, I bought a laminated pass thing, a glowstick, and a Black & Blue tour program. We had been standing in line forever, so by the time we got to our seats, it was almost 7:30 (when the concert would start). Our seats were in the very last row!!! LOL I started laughing cuz it was so funny, but they really weren't bad seats.

Pretty close to 7:30, Krystal Harris came out. She was pretty good. I really like how she sings, but she herself is kinda... I don't know how to say it. She's too dramatin. I dunno... if you're still going to one, you'll see what I mean.

There was an intermission, and 8:30, the Backstreet Boys came out! (I'm gonna go on telling every little detail, so if you don't want to spoil the fun, don't read the rest) They started with a video of a bunch of meteors hitting the earth, and each time one hit, there would be an explosion on the stage. It was really neat. The opened with Everyone, followed by Larger Than Life and Shining Star. They left the stage, and Kevin came out to talk to us. Then they sand What Makes You Different (Makes You Beautiful) and Yes I Will. For "Yes I Will" they had these really cool sparkly cane things. It was really cool. I can't exactly remember the exact order they sang the songs, but I think next was Not For Me. They sang Show Me The Meaning, and I Promise You sometime around here. Oh, one really cool part was when they went into the box that lead to their dressing rooms and showed a video. Then they appeared at the other end of the arena... on the smaller stage. There, they san... well I remember it as I'll Never Break Your Heart, but it seems like they wouldn't sing that. I dunno, they sang a song, let's put it that way. lol The song lead into How Did I Fall In Love With You. Then the bridge came down, leading back to the main stage. On the Bridge, they sang Time. When the got back, I don't remember the order, but they sang I Want It That Way (or was that earlier? lol) All I Have To Give, If You Stay, Everybody, The Answer To Our Life (which was really cool cuz they talked about all their charities, I hmm... that maybe wasnt so late either. lol), Get Another Boyfriend, and The Call. I liked how AJ answered the phone during The Call, that was cool. They said that was their last song, but I knew it wasn't. They came back and sang Shape Of My Heart. After that they all took a bow and there were fireworks and stuff on the stage.

Oh, they sang More Than That, too, I just don't remember when! lol

All the boys looked really HOTT tonight. I had so much fun! My throat hurts from screaming so much! Even though I wasn't close enough to touch any of them, or have any of them wave to me, I still had a blast! But actually... while they were on the smaller stage, Kevin was sitting down, and a bunch of girls in my section were waving to him, and he saw them and waved back. So I thought "what the heck? why not" So I waved just for fun. Probably didn't see me though. I know there's bunch of reviews that are like omg I swear he looked at me! and a lot of the time, they probably really weren't, this time I just know Kevin saw them. But it doesn't really matter to me cuz it wasn't me anyway! lol So, to any of you who are still awaiting a Backstreet Boy concert, trust me, you will have the best night ever!

Black and Blue tour concert @ target center in mn

Ok, me n my best friend got to the target center at about 5pm. We waited 2 and a half hours to get in, but we weren't bored @ all cuz we were talking nonstop about "our boys" after our tickets were taken, we walked towards the doors marked "floor" and walked through them to the usher. We were supposed to be in row 45 on the floor, but it turned out that production decided to take out row 45, not 44 or 46, but 45! So we had to move up into section 104...The seats actually were pretty good because we had a clear view of the stage, but we were mad. Then, right b4 the concert started some drunk lady spilled liquor all over me, my new tour bandana, and my bsb shirt that i'd made. My mom was irate! She demanded that they give us different seat, and they did! Our new seats turned out to be on the right side of the stage, about 25 feet up. We were so happy with the seats and we had a great view of the guys for the rest of the show.

They started with everyone (loved the dance) and transitioned into larger than life. After that they did a few slower songs. I loved the entire show, not one part was boring or stupid. I thought it was totally creative when they jumped down into the wardrobe box and put on a little show for everyone and then appeared on the opposite side of the arena on a mini-stage.

My sister, who swore she wouldn't scream, has a hoarse voice today...No one can resist the backstreet boys!!

I definately give the concert five stars and two thumbs up!!! Keep the backstreet pride alive everyone!
