Vancouver concert The best day of my life!

This concert kick! IT was my first concert I'd ever been to and I was so excited!I got there @ 6;45, just after the doors opened. I bought my t- shirt, tour program, and bsb tags and then went to find my seats. Me and my friends made a sign but it was taken away at the door>I was told that they would be given to the backstreet boys so I wrote on the back, "Brittany loves Brian " and "If leighanne doesn't work to call me!"When we got to our seats I realized how goood our seats were. We were in the back corner, about 30 ft from the the small stage! When the boys got onto small stage Brian (my fav. ) was facing me! The security guards let me and my friends run down the aisle to the gate to take pics. (I HOPE THEY TURN OUT!) The music was great and the dancing rock, N sync eat your hearts out!I was the one of the only ones in my section that had glow sticks! And cuz of that and the small fact that I was standing on my seat screaming, I knew that when Howie blew a kiss in my direction that it was direct at me and my bud. I cried through the first 5 songs strait, and after that I didn't know if i should clap, sway my arms, take pictures or just to keep crying... I managed to do all four! Before I went to the concert, Brian was the only BSB I really liked....although I've been a fan for almost 6 years now I never really liked the others ....by the end of the concert I was and still am in love with them all. They all have special things to offer! Anyways ... back to the review, after the concert we went outside to try to find these, I love Brian, I love A. J etc. Bandana's!We went outside and turn to the right and started walking, then there was a bunch of screaming so we turn around and started running! I saw 3 tour buses so Me and my friends started screaming ! We jumped over a cement wall to get to the buses... only to see that there was a huge crowd already there! So I lead my friends through these bushes, this took us to the back of the 3 buses. We were now in a smaller crowd of people (10) and had just missed Nick! We pushed our ways to the front of the crowd and then Brian came out ..... he was like 20 ft away from me, I screamed his name as loud as what is phsyically possible, but he didn't care!We waited like 20 mins. and bythen there was only 1 bus left! Me and my friends ran to other side of the road and up to the front of the bus on the left hand side of it! Then thats when it happen Kevin walked out of the door and everyone started screamind... I was covered in glow sticks and was jumping up and down! I had pushed my way to the very front again and was screaming so loud! Then Kevin who had been shaking hands got on the bus , he looked right at me honked the bus horn and waved ,he had the biggest smile on his face! IT's offical last night was the best night of my life... forget my future wedding day, yesterday was the best day of my life! The Backstreet Boys kick ass and I will always love them ! And for all you that didn't get to go I'm sure that you don't want my pity... but you got it!

Brittany

Email me if you went or are going to a BSB concert I would love to chat! And even if you didn't go I would still love to hear from you! P. S. Excuse my spelling and crazy content!

Hey, I just got back from the Backstreet Boys concert so I thought I'd write about it before I forget n e thing, which I prolly have already. hehe So yah, the concert was awesome! Awesome seats but I cant say the fans were as happy/outgoing as I had hoped.. I on the other hand was makin a fool outta myself as usual.Uhm... when they first came out I wasnt flippin but after a few min Brian (my fave) came out onto this little run way that went into our section,(section 105, lined up with row 4 on the floor) and since I dont watch tv or watch them much n e more, to see him being the ham that he is on stage seriously made a tear run down my eye, and made me SO happy.. THATS wut ur supposed to feel at a concert, the sense that "wow, they're great" They still seem to love what they do even 3 years after I saw them last, which was so kewl! We waved and waved and waved when they came by, but ofcourse no one in my section was waving with my friend Jen and I, so Brian was waving at the little group of people aroud us, which kicked ass! They didnt sing a lot of old songs which kinda sucked.. but ah well. the songs they did sing were kewl for the most part! I think one of the most fun was "Everybody (Backstreets Back)".... SO much energy! There was another one but I forget! Ohh on to my great story now! ahahahah okay, on the stage they had this metal kind of walk way/cage thing that they stood on to like sing a song or 2, and when they were all standin there Nick was jumping and it was literally moving the WHOLE thing, and ONLY when Nick jumped! ahahah, seriously it was the best! n e one who knows me , knows that thats wut I look for, funny stuff like that to keep me amused! I told Jen and she looked for herself, and she even laughed.. so that was the highlight of my night! Totally! Then near the end Nick came over to our section, picked up this little gurl, and sat her on his lap for a few min while singing, it was the BEST, that also almost made me cry! hehe But all together it was a great concert!

Hey,

All I have to say is that it was awesome! It was my first concert and I'll never forget it. We got to GM Place at 6:30 and bought souveniers. Krystal came onto the stage at about 7:45, she was awesome. Kevin talked a bit about her before she came on. He said her voice was perfect, it was. After about 20 minutes after she was finished it was time for the boys. They came up on platforms from underneath the stage, and boy did they ever look hot. Nick had on sunglasses which made him look so sexy, and they were all wearing black coats and pants. They sang the song Everyone, and then went right into Larger Than Life. They talked about how they had missed Vancouver, which of course made everyone scream louder than they already were. Then they sang my favourite song, Shining Star, and Nick sounded so hot (If you can't tell, Nick's my fav). After a few other songs, they did another wardrobe change. We got to see it! They all went into a wardrobe box and a camera man followed (I don't know if it was previously taped, or if it actually happened). After, they came up on the other side of the room and a black and white circle. They sang parts of a few songs, and then a ramp lowered from the ceiling and went over the audience. Nick walked across first as they sang Time. The dancers were great, and at one point, Nick played the electric guitar. He also was drinking a bottle of water and then dumped it onto the audience, then threw the bottle. I was in the balcony, so I didn't really see them close up, but it was still a great show. One of their last songs was The Call, where AJ had a cell phone that rang and had the audiences help in deciding whether or not to answer it. Of course, we screamed yeah, and the sang. Their last song was The Shape Of My Heart. Nick took a little girl out of the audience and held her on his lap, which made the audience say AHHHHHHHHH. He is so cute. They took their final bows, and then went down under the stage. It was the absolute best thing that I've ever seen. I totally hope that they come to visit Vancouver again sometime soon. They put on a great show, and I don't think anyone was disappointed. I sure wasn't!

I just went to the Black & Blue concert yesterday night, and I just have one word to sum it up: AMAZING! I was expecting a bad view, but I was seriously suprised. I had a great view of the stage, and another stage, which was circular and smaller, was infront of my seat. There was a big circle screen in the middle above the stage, and there was a square screen at each end of the stage, so that you could see them closer. The show was supposed to begin at 7:30pm, but of course, it didn't start untill 7:45. Krystal performed, and she was great, but I was going crazy waiting for my boys to come on. After she was finished, there was a half hour intermission. Finally, at 8:30, the show was begining. The lights were diming, and there were a lot of cool pyrothecnics. It seemed like the world was being destroyed. Then out of the stage, the guys appeared, and the crowd was going crazy! They saluted... the music started playing, and they were singing "Everyone", then "Larger Than Life", and "Shining Star". They then sang "More Than That", "Yes I Will", "What Makes You Different (Makes You Beautiful)", "I Want It That Way", and "Show Me The Meaning Of Being Lonely". Then there was a skit where they each went into a box, and we could see the guys "Changing" below the stage and acting silly. While that was happening, the smaller stage was slowly rising, and I presumed that the guys were making their way underground to the smaller stage. All of a sudded, lights flashed, and they appeared in the center of the circle. This was the closest that I've ever been near them. Fans were going crazy (including me) and they walked around, singing "How Did I Fall In Love With You", I Promise You", and "Time", while they were making themselves back to the big stage on a "walkway". While on the walkway, Kevin reached down and held a little girl's hand. Everyone was watching, and it was increcibly sweet. They then sang "All I Have To Give", "If You Stay", "Not For Me", "The Answer To Our Life", "Everybody", "Get Another Boyfriend", "The Call", and finally, "Shape Of My Heart". The show was fantastic. I had a wonderful time there, and I am anxiously waiting until they come to Vancouver again.

Well, what can I say. The Backstreet Boys last night in Vancouver was an experience I will never forget.

My friends and I are truly big fans of their music. Here is our experience.

5:30pm:

We met up with 4 other fans from the online "Mature Fan Club" for dinner at Rosie's on Robson. This is a club with fans of BSB who are 25+ yrs old. We all ranged from the ages of 28-38. I myself am 31 and my other 2 close friends our 30 and 32. Dinner was great and we heard many great stories from our new friend Chloe and all her previous BSB concert experiences. This was our first BSB show....

7:10:

Off to the show. Bought a program because it was totally worth it. Very nice pictures and the whole history of BSB, which I love because it tells you how hard they have worked to get where they are. In our section of seats, we were sitting with all older fans except 2 young girls (very cool). I did notice that there was quite a few older fans (guys and girls) without kids. This just shows me how much BSB's fanbase has grown and why they are very popular with the Adult Contemporary audience....

7:30:

Krystal was pretty good but I have to be honest and say that I didn't pay much attention...

8:00 (approximately):

Wow, what can I say. The pyrotechnics were amazing, very exciting...Just made us all more excited.

The boys started out with "Everyone", than, "Larger Than Life". 2 great songs. Their vocals and choreography are so dead on. Than came "Shining Star". That was a great number. I also loved, "Not For Me" and "Get Another Boyfriend".

I think some of the highlights for me was:

Singing a bunch of ballads on the "2nd stage". They were very close to our section there.

Also, there was a catwalk going across from one stage to another. Kevin reached down and grabbed a little girls hand. Her dad had her on his shoulders. Kind of made me a little nervous for Kevin though because he was leaning down pretty far.

At one point, Nick had a little girl sitting on his lap during a song too at the side of the stage,,,(very cute)...

All in all..the boys left me so entertained that there were no words to describe it other than "awesome"!!!!

Thank you Backstreet for an experience I will never forget.

Wow.......well I just got home from the concert. But first off I'd like to say thank you to the BSB for creating the online fan club and giving me the oppurtinity to get 16th row floor centre seats =) Now......on to the review!!! So let's see...the pyro techs were amazing. The singing was great although I was a little upset that they didn't sing very many of their older hits. And yes the looked HOT! Because I had been reading other peoples concert reviews I knew all about the centre stage and the walkway so I was able to position myself perfectly to see them. When the walkway came down I went mental. Nick looked down and waved at me so I could take a picture and Brian was being all silly (as usual) to the group in front of us. The cutest thing was this little girl whose Dad hoisted her up so she could touch them...i was jealous that nobody could hoist me up.......but then again she's six and i'm 17! Anyway......it was amazing as usual and the boys are awesome and getting better with age.

ktbpa!

love,

Ali

p.s. Is it me or does nick have a crotch grabbing problem (not that it bothered me one bit, it was just an observation)
