Geez if any of the people who r reading this went to the bsb concert on june 30th in albany u have to agree that is was a really great concert. Especially when they came to the ends of the stage, about 30 girls from that section ran down and screamed at them. Overall it was the best night of my life! Kevin and brian both waved at our entire section and nick howie and aj came within 5 feet of us!!!!! i wish that i can go to another concert. If you agree with my review reply to it or email me. My friend Amina and I went to the concert on June, 30th of 2001. We were on the floor in section to (the middle) in the 14th row. The gates opened up at 6:30pm and we rushed in. We found our seats and sat down. We never thought it would be so close!!
Before the concert we were waiting where we saw their bus and a few minutes later Howie came out and OMG he looked so hot!!!!! I SCREAMED "Howie!!!!!" and he turned around and waved and we got a picture, hopefully.
Then we saw Shaggy’s bus and it was really big and yellow and it said SHAGGY on the side and Rik Rok and some other name on the back. He was just getting out of it and he waved. Then we stood outside for absolutely nothing but a poster contest, which kinda sucked.
Then we decided to head inside to get to the gate to get in early. So we got in and just went to our seats and since we weren't allowed on the floor yet we talked w/some guards a while and I asked like, all of them if it's possible to take us backstage and they all said "No." it was so funny!
Okay, so then Krystal came out and she was singing n stuff then she went outside to sign autographs and pics n stuff.
Then Shaggy came on and when he was on we left and I saw Krystal outside!! I wanted to get an autograph but the guard was like "She's not signing anymore." and I gave him the meanest look ever!! LoL!!! So we walked past her and as we did I was like, "I LOVE YOU KRYSTAL!" and she looked up and said "I love you too sweetie!" and she winked!!! I wanted to hug her n stuff but I couldn't.
Sooooo then we went back inside and I didn't have my ticket stub.... So I wasn't allowed in..... My friend had hers and had to run in and get my jacket of where my ticket was..... So I was lookin around for it and I finally got it and walked in. Shaggy was on for like 45 minutes!! Then there was a 30-minute break when BSB was supposed to come on.
So then they came on and sang. During "More Than That" and "Show Me The Meaning Of Being Lonely" I cried so hard!!! Then IWITW came on and I held up the sign we made. Brian saw it, pointed and smiled at us!!!!!! !!!!!! It was amazing!!
Then they sang more and did their dressing thing and OMG it was so funny!! AJ was like, "Oh crap! Damn I lost a ring!" and Brian had it and was holding it with a goofy grin. Nick was all in the camera saying "AJ's always losing things!" ! Brian showed him he had it and they were fighting over it and then Nick was like, "AJ, considering you have such girlfriend problems.... Howie and I went shopping and found you the perfect girl!" And AJ had this look on his face saying Here-We-Go! And Nick pulled out a blow up doll! !! It was so funny!!!
Then before that there was this thing on the screen that went from 2001 to 2050....all the BSB were like....OLD and crusty n ugh it was so funny but it was nasty!! They were askin questions like “What is on this album?” and Kevin was like “MUUUUUSIC...” It was so funny!! They asked Nick if he had a special place for someone and he looked at his stomach with a grin on his face. Then they mentioned Howie and his hip replacement 5 years ago and he stood up and swung his hips. LOL! Nick started to booty dance and OMG it was hysterical!! OMG during The Call my friend was holding up her cell phone ! When it got quiet me and my friend screamed "TAKE IT OFF AJ!!!!!!" when he was beginning to take his shirt off. IT WAS SO FUNNY!!! I think he heard us!
That is definately a night I am never going to forget!!!
Albany NY Concert

Last night was the BEST night of my life...June 30, 2001. I had been so excited for this night for so long. When the concert started... there was this BIG rush of energy from the crowd. The guys looked sssssooooo hot...Kevin had his hair up in corn-rows..I was happy that he had it like that. That is how I like it. Howie's hair was down, but curly. It looked good. AJ had a bandanna on all night, so I don't know what his hair looked like. Nick and Bran's hair looked normal. NE-Wayz... the concert was AWESOME! I still can't believe how close I was...I was on the corner of the stage...like 2 rows away! Nick didn't really go to our side of the stage 'till the end of the show. Kevin and AJ came over all night. They played for 2 hours. At the end, AJ said that because they had 2 shows in a row at the same arena, they had to cut one show short. So after they left at the end on 'The Call', EVERYONE started leaving! They took him seriously! Then they came out and did 'SOMH'. During that song, Howie throws out the purple lupis bears to people on the corner of the stage. He came over to my side...and I looked him RIGHT IN THE EYE and motioned that I REALLY wanted one...he threw it right to me, but it ended up in the row RIGHT BEHIND ME! UUGGGGGG!!!! I was so mad. As I was leaving the arena... the only thing I could say was "Howie looked right at me! Howie looked right at me!" The whole show was really good. There were so many other good parts, I can't even put them all on here! As Howie said at the end of the show, "Thank You for keeping the Backstreet Pride Alive!"
