OMG YOU GUYS!!!!!!!!!!! I MET HOWIE DOROUGH!! FROM THE FU#$ING BACKSTREET BOYS!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHH!!!!! I ACTUALLY MET HIM!!
Okay, here's my story:
Okay, I went w/ my mom, and we kind of got a late start! We left at 10, but we had planned to leave a lot earlier, but thanks to me, we were late! (But hey, you have to spend a lot of time getting pretty! I was meeting Howie!!)
So yeah, once we got near Chicago, traffic was really bad!! Omg, it was like at a standstill in two different parts! And my mom was making me nervous because she kept saying things like, how we were going to be late, and she kept blaming me for being late. (Whoops!) Then I would want to cry because I thought for sure we would miss Howie!
Okay, so at like 1:15, we were in downtown Chicago, and we were trying to find this parking garage which we had planned to park in. Okay, so we got there, and it was full!!! I was like hyperventilating and my mom was kind of upset at me (AGAIN!) for being a little late. But.. good news! Right down the block there was another parking garage that I noticed, and it wasn't full and it was even three dollars cheaper!! So, it took forever to go up the ramps, and we parked on the 12th level!
So we parked the car, got on the elevator, and then we ran down the street, but we only had to go like not even a block! (Phew!)
Okay, so at 1:25, we got to FAO, and there wasn't that much of a line. But we had to go upstairs and get my elephant that I pre-ordered so I could go to the party, and we also went to the bathroom.
Okay so we came outside and got in line. Hmmm, not too much to say about that except that it was fucking raining, but thankfully we had a huge umbrella, so we didn't get wet, but it was cold outside! And my hair came uncurled (ughhhh!!!) That made me pretty mad! Okay, so we waited in line for 2 hours!
It was funny because this Food Network vehicle kept driving by, and they would keep asking us what we were waiting for. And some people thought Howie was in there, lmao! Well, anyway, they gave us magnets.
Okay, moving on! Howie didn't come until like around 3 or 3:30, and since he was late, he couldn't give autographs or anything, which was disappointing.
Okay, once I got to the door, I COULD SEE HOWIE! And in the line, I kept telling my mom that I wanted him to have his hair down and curly. And guess what?! He did! He was also wearing this HOT shirt! OMG, I loved it! He looked perfect!! OMG, GUYS!!!!! OKAY, HE'S CUTE ON TV AND EVERYTHING, BUT HE IS SOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH HOTTER IN PERSON! SERIOUSLY! HE IS BEAUTIFUL! HIs skin is like perfect too! It's like this perfect shade!! OMG, i guess you could call it mocha! But seriously, he's hot!
Okay, the line was going SO fast! The stupid workers kept yelling at us and kept yelling, "Keep the line moving!" (that was really annoying!) Okay, so once we were inside, my mom started taping on the video camera, and OMG, IT TURNED OUT SO GOOD!
I WAS LIKE FREAKING OUT BECAUSE I WAS SO CLOSE TO HOWIE! TO A FRICKIN' BACKSTREET BOY! I WAS LIKE, OMG, THERE'S HOWIE, THERE'S HOWIE, OMG! I KEPT SAYING THAT OVER AND OVER!
Okay, like when Howie was shaking hands w/ these people that were like 4 or 5 people in front of us, HE LOOKED BACK AT ME AND...............WINKED AT ME!!!! HE FUCKING WINKED AT ME!!! AHHHH, I GOT THE TRADEMARK HOWIE D. WINK!! I was smiling sooooooo much, and Howie kept looking back at me!!!
OH, YEAH, HOWIE SAID SOMETHING TO ME, BUT I CAN'T REMEMBER WHAT, AND I THINK I SAID HI HOWIE OR HEY OR HEY HOWIE, I DON'T KNOW! I WANTED TO SAY SOMETHING ELSE, BUT I COULDN'T THINK, MY MIND JUST WENT BLANK!
Okay, and I think that as we were talking, he shook my hand!! AND OMG, HIS HAND WAS SO SOFT AND SO WARM! OMG, THAT IS LIKE THE BEST HAND I EVER TOUCHED! IT WAS JUST SO.......YUMMY! AHHHH! (I felt dumb because my hand was cold from standing outside, i felt like a sick old person or something, lol)
I TOUCHED HIS HAND, I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT! So, after I shook his hand, I just kind of stood there looking at him, in awe. And my mom, who was behind me in line, was telling me to give her the camera so she could a picture of him/me. So I gave her the camera and I was still standing in front of Howie. (even though the annoying workers were yelling at me to "keep the line moving")
Okay, so my mom had the camera and then Howie was looking at her and posing, and then........HE STARTED TO LEAN IN TOWARDS ME!!! HE WANTED ME TO BE IN THE FUCKING PICTURE W/ HIM, AND HE WAS LOOKING AT ME AND I COULD TELL HE WANTED ME TO LEAN IN AND BE IN THE PICTURE!!!!! SO, I STARTED TO LEAN IN, and then this dumb worker who was standing in front of the table had her arm out, like barring me from leaning in!!!
I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT TO DO!! I WAS LIKE DEBATING FOR 2 1 MILLIONTHS OF A SECOND! I didn't know if I should just like push her out of the way or just let my mom take a pic of Howie. SO, THE LADY DIDN'T MOVE (WHAT A FUCKING BITCH!!!! UGHHH, DAMN, I HATE HER!) and even though Howie was leaning in towards me, My mom just took the pic of him! I hope it turned out good, but it would be 87481639817381757617634716587165781436 times better if I had been in the picture!!! AND HE WANTED ME TO BE IN IT TOO!
And guess what guys?! I DIDN'T CRY! (THANK GOD FOR THAT!) (Remember how I saying that that was the only thing I didn't want to do?! well, id didn't! )
Okay, so after that, we walked to the escalator so we could still be in there and see him, and we were taping him as we were going up the escaltor, and OMG, the tape is amazing!!! And we taped him when we were leaving the store, and then we walked out the door and walked back in (so we could shake his hand again), but when we got in he was leaving!! BUt i saw him walking away, and we were still really close to him!! Okay, so after that, I kind of just stared at the table and where he hand been sitting, and all of a sudden I started crying! I was like, Omg, mom i touched him, look at my hand, I touched him!! I met a bsb, etc, etc.. But I could barely talk, i was like hyperventilating! It was amazing!
So after that, my mom took some pics of me by the table and by this sign that was like an ad for how Howie was going to be there.
And then we walked to the back of the store and met "Barbie"! We talked to her for a few minutes, and she asked me if I met Howie and if I was going to the party and stuff like that. And then my mom took a picture of us, lol. And Barbie liked my shirt and my shoes, lol, yay! (The night before I made a shirt that was yellow, and on the front it said, "HuGs 4 HoWiE" and on the back there was a big "27" (cuz that's how old he is) on it, kind of like a jersey, and above that it said "DOROUGH". I had wanted Howie to sign it, but unfortunately, it didn't happen =(
So then we left FAO, and went back to the car and put away our stuff and got some stuff and then we went shopping downtown. And OMG, this is kind of funny, actually. anyway, I got so excited that I made myself sick! seriously! Like, I never actually threw up but like, 20 times I had to go the bathroom, and almost puked! But I kept holding it back and not let myself throw up, that I stayed sick. And whenever I thought about Howie, i would make myself more nervous/worried/excited about the party, that i would feel nauseous! And I was like so worried that I wouldn't feel well enough to go the party! But then my mom got me some pizza and I ate some of it, and my mom kept telling me to burp, and that actually made me feel better! But it was funny because meeting Howie was all I could talk about and my mom would be like, okay, Holly, enough! And then she would start talking about how we had been so close, and it would actually make me want to puke! So a few hours later, I was healthy!
Okay, so I changed my outfit in the car, and put my hugs 4 howie shirt over my top so that Howie would remember me, because I'm pretty sure that he noticed my shirt (maybe that's why he winked!) and that i stood out a little bit. So anyway, we walked to FAO, but it was miserable out and we were the first people there, so we went across the street to marshall fields' and waited there.
Well, anyway, once they let the 10 people that were there in, we walked over there and went inside. I met some really cool people when we were waiting downstairs and we shared our experiences of Howie from that afternoon. I'm glad that I went to Fao and not Steve Madden because most people didn't even get to touch Howie.
Alright...the party. Hmmm, we'll just say it was a big disappointment. The FAO workers had told us in the afternoon that Howie would be there and would definitely sign autographs. So then I was pumped!
But that wasn't exactly true. Alright, so I got there and maybe waited 20 minutes and that's when I saw Amber (thank heaven for kevin) So I went over to her and met lindsay and talked to them for awhile. Then I kind of lost them because I heard one of the workers say that howie was going to come up from the elevator. So I went over there and there was only like 10 people there and I waited there for at least a good two hours. After I'd been there for liek 20 minutes, Amber came over and waited w/ me on the little aisle that Howie would supposedly walk through. So we waited and waited and waited, and then Howie came and we could see his head, but he was like w/ contest winners and stuff, but omg!
And then he went somewhere and did an interview for what seemed like forever!
And then....it was CRAZY! We were standing on the aisle and then the worker said that Howie would be walking through a different aisle that was like 2 feet away, so i went over there and was across from amber and my mom, and so we waited there, and all of a sudden there was all this screaming coming from the opposite side of the room!!! I was pissed! The fucking people lied to us! So we pushed our way over there and Howie stood on this little box and made a little speech, and then he said "gotta go!" I was like, wtf?! NOOOOOO!! YOU CAN'T LEAVE ALREADY, HOWIE!!!
S o then guess what?! He walked right through where I HAD been standing!! I wash that I hadn't moved!! But guess what?! My mom didn't move and Howie walked right by her! SEriously, Like a foot away from her! And she got it on camera, seriously, she was SOOO close, I wish I had been her!! She was so close, you can like see his individual hairs, his facial stubble, EVERYTHING!! OMFG!
Okay, so then he left and i was...... crushed. I found my mom and just started crying. I was so upset that I didn't get an autograph, a handshake, a touch w/ greatness, anything! Then the lights came on, and my mom showed me the camera tape and how close she had been. Then I started crying because I was glad that i got it on tape/mad that I had moved/ and so damn jealous of my mom! After that, some girl from a newspaper came up and asked me how I felt about how Howie had come in for only 3 minutes and just left like that. I don't know what I said, but after that, I met some awesome people!
This one boy and girl asked me if I wanted to give them my email address so they could send me pics because I guess they had good ones! So I came them my address and talked to them for awhile. And I gave some other people my address.
And then me and my mom went downstairs to bitch out the people at FAO for telling us horse shit! And I yelled at them for not letting me pose w/ Howie, and etc, etc. So anyway, there was a lot of bitching going on and then we left.
Yeah, I guess Howie's dumb bodyguards thought it would be best for Howie to only be there for 2 minutes. ?????? OKAY HOW DOES THAT MAKE ANY SENSE?! THAT JUST CAUSED A FUCKING ZOO! If howie had been there for at least an hour giving autographs, then no one would freak out because they would know that they would all meet howie. But NO, rushing him right by would make SO much more sense???
Alright, anyway, on the way home, I had gotten happier!
I mean, I MET HOWIE DOROUGH!!! I NEVER ACTUALLY THOUGHT THAT IT WOULD BE POSSIBLE TO MEET A BACKSTREET BOY! BUT I ACTUALLY DID IT! THAT'S AN AMAZING FEELING TO KNOW THAT YOU DID LIKE PRETTY MUCH THE IMPOSSIBLE! THAT YOU'VE DONE WHAT MILLIONS OF GIRLS WANT TO DO! THAT YOU ACTUALLY TOUCHED HOWIE! OMG, THAT'S SO GREAT! IT'S AMAZING! NOW I CAN DIE HAPPY! OMG, I'M CRYING THINKING ABOUT IT! I MEAN, I EXPERICIENCED 1/5 OF MY DREAM! BUT HELL, THAT'S ENOUGH FOR ME! OMG, I'LL NEVER LOOK AT MY RIGHT HAND THE SAME WAY!
AND HOWIE IS SOOOOO HOT IN PERSON! SERIOUSLY, I NEVER THOUGHT THAT HOWIE WAS LIKE AMAZINGLY CUTE, BUT OMG HE SOOOO TOTALLY IS! I JUST THINK HE'S NOT VERY PHOTOGENIC! NO, SERIOUSLY, THE CAMERA DOESN'T DO HIM JUSTICE! Okay, my mom even thinks so! And before she thought Howie was "goofy looking" Okay, don't hate me! I have no idea what she was thinking when she said that! BUT SHE SAID THAT HOWIE WAS A VERY GOOD LOOKING MAN!! SHE THOUGHT HE WAS SOOO CUTE! OMG, SERIOULY, GUYS, HOWIE IS SO GORGEOUS!
I always thought that AJ had the beautiful eyes, but NO WAY! NOT ANYMORE! HOWIE'S ARE BEAUTIFUL, THEY'RE SO BIG AND SUCH A GREAT COLOR! I COULDN'T STOP LOOKING INTO THEM! OMG, HE'S SO PERFECT, I CAN'T GET OVER IT! He's everything I dreamed of and more!
OMG, May 26, 2001 was the greatest day of my life!!
And anyone who hasn't met a BSB, you will! Trust me! I NEVER EVER EVER thought that I would meet one in my life, but look, it happened! I dindn't even know I was going until the day before, and i had to drive 3 hours and stand for 2 hours in the miserable weather, but I Met A backstreet Boy! AND seriously, I thought I was the least likely of all of you and everyone in the world to meet a backstreet boy and be that close one and actually touch them, but I did! Your time will come, it will!! Don't give up and don't stop dreaming!!!
Alright, sorry that was SUPER DUPER long, but I just had to tell you guys ever detail of the greatest experience of my life!!!!!

holy sh!t, DO YOU UNDERSTAND I MET HOWIE D???
HOWIE IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL, NICEST, SWEETEST, BEST PERSON I HAVE EVER MET!!!!!!! I FREAKIN MET HOWIE DOROUGH OF THE BACKSTREET BOYS!!!! I MET HOWIE!!!! I MET HIM!!!!!!!!! THIS IS TOO UNBELIEVABLE TO EVEN THINK ABOUT RIGHT NOW!!!!!!! I'm going to tell you the whooole STORY!!!!
We got to FAO to wait to stand in line to get his autograph and stuff. There was a line that went around the building soo far, and it was pouring rain out! We stood in the rain for 2 hours waiting for HOWIE D!! It was soo absolutely fun though! The people in front of us and behind us we're so awesome! One girl, who was 28, had met Howie 20 times, Nick 2 times, Aj 4 times, Kevin one time, im not sure about Brian, met all their moms a bunch of times, as well as their girlfriends/wives!! She also went to 20 BACKSTREET BOYS CONCERTS! She was real funny! While we were standing in line, her friend called her and said AJ was at the hotel. So she left the Howie line and went to the hotel....Me and the people in front of me who were awesome, we're all sining Howie related BSB songs soo loud! We sang Spanish Eyes, All I have to give, How did I fall in love with you, What makes you different, My heart stays with you, Get another Boyfriend, and others!! We totally failed on How did I fall in love with you though...we sounded like hell! teheee, but it was soo fun. They were a lot older than us too. I am guessing in their 20's and 30's! There was a girl, her mom and her friend behind us who were reallly cool too! There was just sooooo many incredible people there! The woman who had jumped on BSB like 20 thousand times before, was showing us some of her pictures from all those times, AND SHE HAD THIS ONE PICTURE OF AJ FROM LUPUS 2000 THAT SHE TOOK FROM FRONT ROW WITH HIS SHIRT OFF!!!!! It was soo SEXY!!! EVERYONE WAS SCREAMING AND PASSING THE PICTURE AROUND LIKE DYING! One of the women who we were singing with, had met Howie before and she showed us a picture of it. She gave a copy to Howie! While we were sranding in line, all the people on the street would walk by and ask us what we were doing, and we'd all be like HOWIE FROM THE BACKSTREET BOYS IS HERE! And they would go OOOOOH I SEE! It was so funny! Aww man, it was just so great how everyone was all so "BSB" HEHE! We'd all scream WE WANT HOWIE! HOWIEEEE WE LOVE YOU!! HOWIE TE AMO!! My leg was shaking so bad!!!! I couldn't stop it! And on the way there I was crying a little bit!
FINALLY..........................Howie CAME! He wasn't singning autogrpahs anymore. You would go through and shake his hand, and he also handed out a sheet of paper...AT FIRST I couldn't see him, then I SAW HOWIE FUCKING DOROUGH SITTING RIGHT THERE!!!!!!!! I couldn't believe it! I STARTED TO CRY AND CRY...THEN I FREAKING GOT TO HIM! I was crying sooo hard!!!!! I WANTED SO BAD TO SAY SOMETHING TO HIM, BUT I COULDN'T THINK! I WANTED TO TELL HIM HE'S THE MOST BEAUTIFUL THING I HAVE EVER SEEN, BUT I didn't! All I said was THANK YOU as best as I could while crying!!!!! YOU SHOULD HAVE SEEN THE WAY HE LOOKED AT ME! When he saw me crying, I coud tell he wanted to say something to me or hug me!!! As I walked away he just look at me with the SWEETEST FACE!!!!!!!!!!! HE SMELLED SOO DAMN GOOD!!!!! OH MY GOD!!!!!! MY HAND SMELT LIKE HOWIE FOR ALONG TIME!!!! AS YOU WALKED PAST HIM, YOU COULD SMELL HOWIE!!!! OOH BABY, IT WAS SOOOO GOOD SMELLING! I wanted to sniff him!! HIS HAIR WAS DOWN AND CURLY TOO!!!!!!!! When I found out it was like that when I was standing in line and someone told me it was like that when they saw him earlier that day, I WAS LIKE SCREMING MY TUSH OFF! Yess, that's my fave look of Howie's!!! See, before he was at FAO, he was across the street at Steve Madden handing out free signed t-shirts! I didn't know about that yet though!

THEN, AFTER I WALKED AWAY, STILL BAWLING....SOME GUY CAME UP TO ME AND ASKED ME FOR MY NAME! I COULD NOT TALK!! I swear, I was crying so hard, I couldn't talk! I was pretty much ignoring the guy too! I jus SAW HOWIE, AND I COULD NOT BELIEVE IT!!!!!

So then Lindsay was like Amber....And then I was like why? And I didn't hear him after that, but he was a photographer from CHICAGO SUN TIMES, AND HE TOOK MY PICTURE WITH HOWIE BECAUSE I WAS CRYING SO HARD!!!!!!!!!!! Then he asked me for my e-mail adress so he COULD FUCKING SEND ME THE PICTURE OF ME AND HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I JUST LOOKED AT IT, AND OMG!!!!!! IT'S OF MY CRYING, AND HOWIE AND ME ARE SHAKING HANDS!!!! AND IN THE PIC YOU CAN SEE HIM GRABBING THE PAPER HE WAS ABOUT TO HAND ME!!!!!!!!!!! I LOOK LIKE THE BIGGGGGGGGGGGEST FREAK IN THE PICTURE, BUT I HAVE A PICTURE OF ME AND HIM TOGETHER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THIS IS LIKE THE BEST!!!!! He looks so hott in it though! OF COURSE!!!!! HE WAS WEARING A REALLY TIGHT SHIRT!!!! MEOOOOW! HIS VOICE!! HE HAS THE SWEETEST VOICE!!! OH MAN, HE SAID THANK YOU OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT OT ME, BUT I DON'T REMEMBER AT ALL!!!!!!!!! And also, in the picture, in the backround, you can see one of the women I was singing with and she is smiling at me! She was the awesomest of them all!!
Lindsay's lil brother was in front of me, and Howie goes "Hey big guy" to him! IT WAS SOO ADORABLE!! Howiiie!
*And the thing that I noticed was...I was behind her brothers, and I was probabaly making some what of a loud noise crying, and Howie didn't look up at me. He kept looking at the fan that he was with, knowing it was their time with him. Ya know? He smiled the whole time too!!!!! His teeth are so hot! They're perfect! OK OK, Wow! Then we walked to our hotel, and I still couldn't stop crying! ON THE WAY TO THE HOTEL, THERE WAS A LIMO! Lindsay's mom was like, Oh I bet that's Howies! And we were like Ooh no way! Then I went and asked the driver AND IT WAS HIS LIMO!!! WE got pictures of it, and in front of it! I wanted to stay and wait for Howie to come out there, because that was exactly where he was going to, but then we went up to the hotel....? Lindsay was kinda being...ugh. From out window, we could see the Limo. We never saw Howie get into it though! We went back down there to go and wait for him, but he had already left!!! oh, well!!
WE WENT BACK TO FAO TO GO AND SIT IN HIS CHAIR! It was so warm! I have pictures of it too!!!!! oh man! I was like touching it, where his BUTT WAS!!! MMMYEAH! There...the best thing happened. See, while we were waiting in line, we also found out about this bowling thing with Howie we had not knew about. It was 50 dollars to get in, and it was BOWL FOR THE CAUSE, which is the Dorough lupus foundation! The FAO thing was not for the DLF though, it was for STARS IN THE WILD, which is this stuffed animal thing that was started by a 15 year old girl named Erica Summers. See, to get the invitation to the party, you had to be the first 400 people to buy a plush animal for stars in the wild. Well, when we went to FAO again, ERICA SUMMERS DAD GAVE US FREE PASSES TO THE BOWLING THING!!!! NO CHARGE!!!!!!!!!!!! WE WERE GOING TO GO BOWL WITH HOWIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hugged the guy so hard!!!!! Then we took a picture of him and Erica together!!! The reason he gave them to us is because he knew we deserved them, we didn't have them, and he fucking saw me when I met Howie, and i was like oh my gosh you don't understand how much this means to me, and he was like yes i do, that's why I am giving you these!! AHHH!!! I told so many people that I saw just randomly YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND!! THIS IS MY DREAM COME TRUE!!!!!!! Even Barbie!! lamo, FAO Schwarz had a "Barbie" walking around! hehehe! Okay, so skip ahead...WE GET THE BOWLING ALLEY!! (ahhhhh) He isn't there yet though. There we met even more BSB fans that were just as awesome. It was like BSB fan Land. ALLL over the plaec, BSB shirts, DLF shirts, Fan club shirts, pictures of them, howiie this, howie that! There was this one girl who had a GIANT card for Howie that tons and tons of people signed! She let me and lindsay sign it! Then I asked her for some paper so I could write him a note. I thought for sure I could get it to him! I didn't have time to write one earlier, and since we were wating for him to come, I had nothing else to do....We couldn't bowl either, because we didn't have this one sheet you needed that we didn't get. Oh, well...I just wantED TO WATCH HOWIE BOWL for christ's sake!!! THEN HOWIE CAME!!!!!!!! HE WAS WEARING A BOWLING SHIRT AND KHAKIS...AND BOWLING SHOES!!! He looked AMAZING! His bowling shirt was purple and yellow! He had a bowling team and then 2 other teams were against him! I don't know how they got choosen to though! The fucking security guards were the biggest bitches ever!! Oh my gosh! Everyone, ME ESPCIALLY, Was yelling at them, telling them off...etc! OMG I got in the biggest fight with this one lady. She made these girls wayyy in the back sit down because they were standing on chairs! HOW THE HELL ARE THEY SUPPOSED TO SEE!!!! I WAS LIKE "WHY CAN'T THEY STAND THERE?" -It's a public place. Its a bowling alley. Do you go to you own house and stand on your furniture?" -yeAH I DO!! BUT HOWIE ISNT AT MY HOUSE!!!" It went on for a long time! Then she was like Have a nice day. Then i was like, you know what, your cruel! I glared at her for like 2minutes giving her the most evil look, then I started to cry! :-) I cried like 4 times at the bowling alley because 1st of ALL HOWIE WAS RIGHT THERE BOWLING, second of all, the security guards were being stuuuopid, so I could barely see him! This girl next to me was video taping Howie, and the camera had zom and stuff so we were watching him through the camera!! HOWIE BOWLING IS THE BEST THING YOU'D EVER SEE!!!!!!! HE IS AN AMAZING BOWLER! I know I got really good pictures too! Like I said there were 2 other teams bowling. The one that was closest to us would take out cameras and go and get really close pictures of him! Also, they were taking things to get autographed by him, but I never got to talk to them to get anything signed for me. When Howie went up to bowl, everyone would scream GO HOWIE, and pretty much just scream scream scream! Then he would do the cutest thing when he did bad shots! ahhh! When he wasn't bowling he'd either wave at us, smile at us, or video tape us! Him and this other guy on his team would take turns! Howie winked to the girl next to me with the video camera! oooh my god! I was screaming all these things to Howie! I was like HOWIE, PLEASE BEND OVER!! If he made a bad shot, everyone would be like OH, HOWIE, IT'S OKAY! He looked at me though! I remember! Not for long, but he was just looking at everyone, and then I remember his eyes looking at me. I just kept blowing kisses to him, mouthing things to him, like I LOVE YOU! :-)
Well after the bowling thing, it was PARTY TIME!!!! IT WAS THE FUCKING COOLEST PARTY!!!!! It was like a BACKSTREET BOYS FAN party!!! I fucking always wanted one!!! They played GET ANOTHER BOYFRIEND, ALL I HAVE TO GIVE, EVERYONE, THE ONE REMIX, THE CALL REMIX not neptunes AND LARGER THAN LIFE, among many other songs not BSB! When BSB came on, everyone sang their hearts out!! It was soo awesome dancing and partyin with all these fans!! Me and this one girl were talking about how loud both of us were! Hehe, nevermind...I was hanging out with Holly too!!!!!!!!!! she rocks! Well after a while, Howie was on his way. They said he would come up, and everymade made this huge aisle for him to walk through. We waited and waited....then he came up. He was in this corner doing press. I could barely see him because all these people were in front of me! Then, he went back downstairs to do a radio disney interview!
THEN he came back up. BUT HE DIDN'T COME UP WHERE THEY TOLD US HE WAS GOING TO BE!!!!! HE CAME UP THE FUCKING OPPOSITE WAY!!!!!!! He stood on the small teeny stage in the middle of the dance floor and was talking for a little while. I COULDN'T EVEN SEE HIM!!!! ALL I SAW OF HIM WAS ONE QUICK LITTLE GLANCE! Then he was like "Gotta go" I WAS LIKE WHAT THE FUCK? NO YOU ARE NOT LEAVING!!!!! YOU DID NOT JUST SAY THAT!!! I WAS CHASING HIM!! EVERYONE WAS CHASING HIM!!! HE LEFT REALLY QUICK! I TRIED TO GO AROUND, BUT THEN I GOT STOPPED BY ESCALATORS THAT i FORGOT WERE THERE, AND I DIDN'T WANT TO GO DOWN TO SEE HIM BECAUSE I WASNT EVEN SURE IF HE WAS DOWN THERE! SO THEN I CAME BACK UP...AND he was gone.....I never saw Howie again! That was a slight disapointment. Slight is kinda an understatement making it that I cried allll the way to the hotel non stop! I called my parents crying too! I mean, I just couldn't believe it! I thought I'd be able to give him my note, take some pictures, and then get an autograph perhaps! I was all ready for him to walk through the aisle! I mean, I promised myself no matter what I was going to hug him! I wanted to get my note to him sooo bad!!!! And I didn't! Holy shit, I was soo like...dispointed. I guess that is a good word. I went to the hotel, cried, laid in bed and listened to BSB on the CD Player. Lindsay was sleeping. I mean I was so sad but I was also so happy.

I have the bracelet for the party and for the bowling thing on and I am never GOING TO TAKE THEM OFFF!!!! I AM KEPEING EVERYTHING I GOT FROM THIS EXPERIENCE! i CANT WAIT TO GET MY PICTURES DEVELOPED!!! Im keeping the stuffed animal elephant I have that is PERMANATELY RAIN SPOTTED...which signafies me standing in the rain for 2 hours :-), my bracelets, the invitation, all the flyers they handed out, all the free stuff from the bowling alley, JUST EVERYTHING!!!! I MET SOOOO MANY FUCKING COOL AND AWESOME BSB FANS, IT'S NOT EFVEN FUNNY! I gave my e-mail adress to one girl, but I am SO PISSED I didn't give it to more people!! Howie's 'Bowl for the cause' Lupus event

It all started as I woke up the morning of may 26th at around 6 am..Yes waking up that early on a sat is dreadful..But all worth it because it was all for a good cause...The Dorough Lupus Foundation..Yes Howie did it again..But this time in CHICAGO! He finally moved his foundation here to raise money for it, but this time instead of a concert or anything like that, we bowled for the cause, the tix were $50 each and all proceeds went to the foudations..And me being so into all of the guys foundations..I knew this was a perfect opportunity for me to do what I wanted to do. It was a great experience knowing how I am helping the foundation. Well the bowling thing didn't start until 5:30 that evening..Here I am driving at 8:00 in the morning I was dead tired but knew I had to get my butt in gear, so I went to pick my friend Vanessa up and we made our way to the Rosemont train station. When we got there the lady was already being rude, so I knew my day was already going to be crappy.
Well we boarded the train and rode it for about 45 min..When we arrived there (at around 10:10) we stopped by state street and we were just going to keep walking straight to water tower place b/c we knew howie would be there for his steve madden shoes at noon..But on our way we saw a group of lets say 30 people around a store and we were just going to ignore it until all of a sudden I saw a picture of howie in the window..OMG it was jamba juice..And it was 10:00, I forgot he was supposed to serve smoothies to everyone from 10-12...So we decided what the heck lets give it a try..So we waited in line..Which winded into an alley...But not even 15 min waiting in line we made friendly with the people all around us, of course..But these 3 particular girls (Katie, Chris, and Dominika) we talked to the whole time (and eventually spent the whole night together and now we are all good friends). We were in line for about over an hour and finally someone told us what was going on and the security told us that Howie just got there (11:15=Late!) b/c they messed up something with his bowling shoes..So he was serving the smoothies and he only got to about half the people..(not even) and he had to go..It was almost noon and he had to go to steve madden..So he decided that it wasnt a big group so he'd come out and shake everyone's hands (and u were ONLY allowed to do that..Security stated that many times)..Well right before he came out we started talking to the girls (and founders) of buzzteen.Com...And they were really nice..They took Katie and Dominika's presents to give to howie because they were going to be with him all day...And right before howie came out we started ( me and my 'backstreet crew') singing..We decided that'd be nice..But after the first few words of every song we coudlnt remember the rest of the song..We were all nervous....Then finally we agreed on "more than that"...So we were singing and then all of a sudden I see howie!
He's like practically in front of me and I slowly start getting quieter with the song..He then points to me and smiles (while he is shaking the girl in front of me's hand)..Then he gets to me and I just kinda start mouthing the song..Then he shakes my hand and I stop and just kinda stare and then say thank u to him..And like just in that moment I felt like the whole world stopped..Just me and howie..Then he breaks it all and says 'hey I like ur shirt!' (it was my red bsb sweatshirt)...And then me being in my little daydream..And alos with him acutally acknowledging me I just kinda stood there holding my shirt and go 'oh uh yea I know umm yea its umm...Oh yea' DUHH stupid..Say something intelligent! GOSH! That got me so mad so I kept like following him as he moved to the other fans.....And so he was almost at the end and I was like ok THATS IT..I gotta do it...So I quietly said (thinking he woudlnt hear me because I was sick-bronchitis) 'can I have a hug please' and then in that instint he looks up at me and smiles and summons me to come forward and kinda motions for the fans around me to move and all of a sudden I felt his arms around me but before I could place my arms totally around him and my chin on this shoulder..I kissed his cheek! OMG I was so shocked..Scared and very like, shy at that moment..We moved away from eachtoher and I thanked him again as he smiled but then I hid behind Vanessa in shyness but we still followed him, then I started to cry a little and he kept looking at me..And then finally he moves his mouth and says 'its ok' smiles and looks at the next fan...
OH to relive that moment..I wnat to STAY in that moment forever! Well then he leaves and we are all saying bye..Yea yea whatever....Then as I see that he is gone..I was a goner..If it wasnt for the little ledge on the side of the building I would have fallen..I sat on the ledge..As the 'backstreet crew'was so excited they started to run down the alley to get to the street so we can go to steve madden....But I was stuck there..It felt like I was glued there for a sec..I felt almsot paralyzed..Finally when I got my feeling back we were running around the city and we finally made it to water tower place..And as we went in we had no idea where to go and asked where to direction us...Well when we finally got up there, there was a huge line of people waiting..But we knew it was for a great cause....While waiting in line the buzzteen girls came by again and started talking to us and told us that everyone will get a signed poster or steve madden shirt...Well we are just about up there and they tell us there are no more things to get signed and will not allow our own things to get signed (a**holes!)..Well we just walked up and shook hands again and took a few pics...Well right before I was about to turn around to leave (after shaking hands again) he goes 'HEY I remember u!" and then he smiled again...Well stupid me again 'oh yea I know my shirt u think my shirt..Yea umm..Its uhh' DUMBA*S! God..2 Times already!
UGh...Well whatever it was the thought that count..That he remembered! HA! Ok well we decided to just forget about going to FAO Schwardz (which was his next stop) and going straight to the bowling alley..Well I wont get too much into that except it was the most unorganized piece of crap I have ever seen and I feel bad for those who only had tix to that and never went anywhere else to meet him b/c no one met him...Well while we were waiting there for the whole bowling thing to start a lady asked us if we got invited to the 'stars in the wild' after party with Howie the host..And we said no because we never bought any of the animals..So she gave us 5 of them (each $60 value)..So we were soo excited by that time..Well the bowling thing..Howie got bombarded by disconcerned fans hourding him trying to touch him...So I just stood back.I already met him, I was happy..After waiting about 10 min I knew I was never going to see him b/c all of the fans blocking my view so we decided to leave early to go to the after party (but before leaving we entered the raffle and I wont a cybiko hand held coputer thing-autographed by the one and only howie d)..(btw I also got another autograph of his earlier that day)..
Well we went to the dance party.And it was fun..But we found out howie was coming really late (11)..And was only going to stay for about 10 min....Well we had to leave at 10:45..And I did eventually find out he only stayed for 10 min..No use in staying...At least the tix were free..Well just supporting the DLF was an honor but being able to meet howie, not once but actually twice was truly a priveldge as I see it. Howie didnt have to come out and thank us for coming..He could have just said it on a loud speaker and be done with it..But was grateful enough and thanked each of us...AND broke the rules by letting me have a hug. I truly feel honored to be in his presence let alone being able to contribute to such an event. I wish u all the best of luck in meetin the guys/ur fav guy/or any of the guys individually. It truly was a life changing event, and eventhough, Nick being my 'fav'..I still feel like I can go on in peace knowing that I have accomplished my goal..Knowing that they finally know I exist and my feelings towards them, as artists and and people, something in which we should start seeing them as, and not treating them as another 'celebrity' and bothering them, they are just doing their jobs, enjoy it, don't spoil it for us who care for them as human beings and not as a toy to be loved and admired (like they did at the bowling alley).. I mean I do love these men and admire them for what they do, but its just their job and I wish them all the luck in the world and I will contribute any way I can to all of their foundations..Thanx to the 5 angels from up above and god bless everyone..
