When i first bought it and listened to it, i totally love ALL of the songs! It rock! it is soooooo different from the backstreet boys' sound of music (not that i don't like it) but i think this album is just "Nick".

Powerful lyrics to match a powerful voice.
Nicks album is quite a change from the pop of Backstreet.
Soft rock ballads such as 'Do I have to cry for you', reminding me much of Richard Marx, make you want to cry, while others such as 'Stand for you' and 'Blow your mind' Just make you want to dance. Now the question is, should he stick with Backstreet, or stay solo? I say, Backstreet all the way!!

it wasn't all that great, i mean it wouldn't be that different that an album released by the group. nick carter ain't that rock starish to me. but i guess that's my view and he's not out the to please me.

I must admit that even tho i bought the album like 6 hours ago and havent listened to it...*slaps herself on the wrist for being a naughty...but very blonde...girl*, i must say i give 5 stars just for the lil book!!! hehehe great stuff! also with the dvd...man...how clever to put a dvd and cd together in the same case? hehehe...nah from what ive heard so far, its really good and can only get better!!!

It's good. You have to almost forget that Nick's a BSB and tyr not to think he'll be very like the rock influences he likes, becuase it’s just so DIFFERENT. You can pick out the Bryan Adams/Bon Jovi/Nirvana influences in the beats and melodies but the lyrics are all Nick. It was always gonna be nice to have Nick sing the whole of every song, but the way he sings is also more like the way he talks, it's like he's singing to you.
It’s not the best album ever, but it is his first after all, and there are no truly awful songs. The rest is down to individual taste because there’s a song for everybody. My favourites are ‘Help Me’ and ‘Do I Have To Cry For You’. I like how easy it is to pick up the lyrics and sing along, and how many lyrics I can relate to. And what was the fuss about ‘Ms America’? OK, maybe a bit of a shock at first, but it is amazing.
I think he’s got the whole thing right and will go a LONG way. In the meantime you should just enjoy this album.

*Sigh* I'm in heaven once again. Nick never cease to amaze me. Of course I love his solo album, Now or Never! No doubt about it. First of all, the album cover and the picture inside are so gorgeous! Second, all of the tracks on the album are wonderful, especially track 3 and 4. They're awesome. Help Me and My Confession are okay... Miss America is so seductive and sexy... I've been a BSB fan since '97...so of course I'm going to say nice things about him. However, I also know when a music is good or bad. And this album is good! Wanna know why? Because Nick Carter is a great singer. His influences in rock and harmony goes well together. But I also think that he could've done better. From a scale of 10, I give it a 9. Okay. KTBPA! I can't wait till the next BACKSTREET album!!!!!!!! When is it gonna be done?? I am patiently waiting.......

first of all...i did not regret buying his album. its so good i can't put it down. nick has manage to demonstrate his unique talent that is hidden all this while ... it usually happens when u sing in a group of 4 other talented singers...of course i'm talking about bsb. nick co-wrote most of the songs and are very personal to him. it has a very carefree pop-rock sound which i like . he is only voicing his own opinion in his own ways. it is the same old nick being creative on his own. he finally had a chance to show his true self. he has a very good voice and its unique. it makes the album even greater. he has grown out of his boyish image he had when first started in music business. he made a very impressive achievement and i'm proud of him.
apart fom the single help me... the song do i have to cry for you , who needs the world, my confession and i stand for you are a few of my other favourites. people who criticize nick carter should think again. what nick has done is something what others can't do. he is talented. people are talented in their own ways. somehow he sings better than you are. those who criticize him are only jealous of him. what he has done is something what justin timberlake hasn't achieve. justin shot up the charts with the help of other artises but nick doesn't. he is being independent. if you were to say who are the originals...i would have to say its nick carter.
the songs on nick's album are the ones that gets you dancing . other than he's rocking songs there are beautiful ballads also. it is an impressive solo album by nick. his songs had help me go through tough times. it takes me out of the blue. it cheers me up no matter what happened. i bet his next solo album would be even greater. watch out justin...!

Nick's solo album is amazing. I think that it shows the real Nick unlike the other Backstreet Boy albums. Don't get me wrong, they too are also amazing but this album is NICK! I love it. Nick is not pop, he is into rock and this album is a mixture! Go NICK! I LOVE U!

I think that Nick's album is awsome!!! You can tell that he put alot of himself into it and how much this album means to him. This album is a great way for him to connect to his fans on a more personal level, and I feel as thought he has done just that. Way to go Nick!!!! Get doing what your doing. It is working!!!!!
