A Backstreet Christmas

'Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, well except for Mickey Mouse
The stockings were hung by the wall with care
and Kevin was sleeping by them looking like a big ole' teddy bear.
Brian was sleeping snugly in his bed,
while visions of video games danced through Nick's head.
Howie dreamt of the awards they won,
while AJ looked like he was waiting for the sun.
Nick left the TV on, what a disgrace
While Kevin had sheepish grin on his face.
Brian had the words to the newest song in is hand,
and Howie was dreaming of what to get the band.
AJ thoughts were on a color for the hair on his head,
maybe green, blue, or a much brighter red.
They all had a great night before,
20, 000 screaming fans, who could ask for more
they've been writing new songs lately,
and they are now resting, belatly.
And since it was the night of Christmas Eve,
they thought of their fans, who they never would deceive
When all of a sudden on the roof was a clatter,
they all woke up to see what's the matter.
They all got up in a flash,
except for Howie, who tripped and nearly fell on his ...
They all ran down the hall,
knocking some pictures and platinum records off the wall.
They picked of the stuff off the floor,
and went to the front and opened the door.
the cold weather hit them as they went outside,
and a sleigh was on the roof, with a sign saying load wide.
On the roof, was a fat guy with no neck,
and AJ yelled, "What the heck!"
then Brian asked, "Is that Santa?"
"Nah," Kevin said, glancing at his watch "He should be in Atlanta."
Santa turned around to look at the Boys,
and knew he couldn't give them any of the toys.
"So Boys, have you be good this year?"
"We are best selling group of 1998, in case you didn't hear."
Said Kevin, with a surprised look on his face.
Santa said, "I just don't get MTV, and that's the case."
"So did you bring us any gifts?" asked Howie.
Said AJ, "Yeah, any plane tickets to Maui?"
"You know I hate flying." Said Nick.
"Just thinking about it makes me sick."
"Nothing of that sort is in my bag."
Said Santa. "And anyway that trip will give you a case of jet lag."
Said Howie, "Not really we've been traveling all the while."
Said Kevin, "Though I'm not sure we've been through the Nile"
Then AJ said, "Oh, guys, give it a break."
"This Santa only brings what his makes."
"You 5 young men have been following fate.
And in case you didn't hear, you have the 4th best-selling album of 1998."
Nick then said, "Oh tell us something we didn't know."
Kevin asked, "Can you make it snow?"
Santa replied, "That gift is pretty hard to get."
"It isn't like catching fish with a net."
"And anyways most of this gifts with are by you .
And I don't think I have anything new."
AJ said, "Hurry up, Claus, we don't have much more time."
Then Brian said, "Yeah, we have to be up by nine."
Santa said, "I really don't have any gifts to spare."
Nick pouted and yelled, "That's not fair!"
"Come on Nick, you have to grow up," Howie said.
Brian said, "I think he just has to go to bed."
At the end, Santa threw them 'N SYNC books,
and the Boys gave Santa several dirty looks.
AJ then said, "You're giving us this for gifts?
Brian said, "Yeah, take them back, before Nick throws another fit."
Santa collected back the gifts, and got back on his sleigh.
and prepared himself to go over the bay.
"And remember, fellas," Santa said, before he flew away.
"Always enjoy life day by day"
Santa left, and the guys went inside and turned off the light.
then they all heard from above, "Before I forget, Merry Christmas to all,
and to all a Good Night.!"
