If you have gone to any of the Backstreet Boys' Into The Millennium concerts, then you'll know what we mean when we say the concert is sponsored by the letters "eeeeee" and "oooooo." As the screams of hundreds of girls are still ringing in your ears, we can honestly say that Sears may be promoting the concert of a lifetime, but Sesame Street is definitely where it's at! Girls screamed nonstop at the top of their lungs from the moment the lights went out. And for a good reason! BSB are definitely the hottest pop group on earth! From the opening notes of "Larger Than Life" to the last "oo, oo" of "Backstreet's Back," the Backstreet Boys gave their audience nothing but 100% fun.

The lights went down, the crowd waited in eager anticipation, and suddenly with a blast of smoke and lightning, there they were: Brian, Kevin, A.J., Howie and Nick, wearing futuristic suits and sky-surfing on boogie board hover-crafts. They landed on stage and marched around the circle like an army of robots while the theme from "Star Wars" blared in the background. Suddenly, all five Boys faced the audience and in a flash, changed their space suits to white outfits-and broke into "Larger Than Life," the most awesome fan tribute ever! The crowd went wild. We could hardly hear the Boys for the screams of joy! Nick stirred up the crowd even more when he said "Com on, guys, I know you can do better than that." Those few words sent everyone in the stadium into a frenzy! Cameras started flashing, girls were screaming louder than ever, the air was full of flying stuffed animals and other goodies as the audience rained their undying love onto the Backstreet Boys.

Although we love the Boys for their infectious grooves and awesome harmonies, they don't let us forget that each one is also an incredible soloist. For example, for the sweet song, "Back To Your Heart," a white grand piano dropped magically from the ceiling-so Kevin Richardson could play the keyboards and sing. Brian Littrell took over on the irresistible tun, "I'll Be The One." Nick Carter wowed the audience (and himself) with an awesome stream of high notes for the song "Don't Want To Loose You Now." Finally, sweet Howie D let us know how much he loves us with a sultry solo on "Spanish Eyes."

And don't forget about the dancing! Ten dancers (and BSB) practically set the stage on fire with their intense choreography. We are so glad the concert was performed "in the round" so we could see every moment at the concert. Although each Boy performed as a member of the team, they still had distinct personas.

Sexy, mysterious A.J. only wore his trademark sunglasses for one song, but for the remainder of the show, flexed his tattoos (all 11 of them!) and came out wearing a different hat nearly every song. Brian Littrell was a bundle of manic energy, jumping around like he was on the basketball court! Smooth Howie danced beautifully with the female dancers (we were wishing that it was us!). Hunky Kevin made us melt with his suggestive glances and sinewy moves. Finally, Nick plays every bit of the Boy next door-and appeared not to enjoy the harness too much.

What harness you ask? Well, during "Quit Playin' Games (With My Heart)" all five boys fly through the air, showering the crowds with teddy bears and just generally lookin' great! Combine that with the atmosphere of the whole place, and as Kevin says, "This tour is definably a futuristic tip." What makes it so unique? Not only was the stage round, it was lit up to look like a flying saucer that just landed. And the band played various platforms on the stage that moved up and down and spun around, depending on which song they were playing. Plus, the lighting and smoke effects were spectacular. Rather than just using lights at the stage area, fireworks and sparklers, spotlights and mirrorballs were at each of the four corners of the stadium, so the whole audience was able to experience the lighting magic. Finally, the Boys themselves were dressed in futuristic gear-like the coolest aliens that ever landed!

This tour just goes to prove how much the Backstreet Boys adore their fans: it's a sight and a sound spectacular, sure to leave anyone who is fortunate to have tickets absolutely breathless! They prove their love to us with a rousing rendition of "The Perfect Fan," complete with totally lucky mothers and daughters that BSB pulled out of the audience to sing too! Brian wrote the song as a thank you to his mother, but we bet those lucky fans were saying thank you for the fantastic experience on stage with BSB!
