Hi, my name is Courtney, I'm 14 years old, and I would like to say that I agree with April, who wrote in about the unfair Trans-Con talent search. Being and aspiring singer myself, I think that it is unfair and sexist that only guys over the age of 18 can try out for this talent search. I mean, Nick was only 13 when he started with BSB, and Mandy Moore is only 15! I think it's totally unfair, and that Trans-Con should let anyone try out. They don't have to sign them, they should just let anyone try out who wants to! Thanx 4 your time!!

Sincerely,

Courtney

I'm going to have to agree with someone that wrote in about that Boy band TV show. I also am an inspiring singer/actress, and let me tell you, if they think that we (women) can't do the same thing these boy bands can do, well then, I think we should prove them wrong.

Anyway, I am responding to the letter that AprilCarter sent in, the one about Transcontinentil records? I also think it is not fair, I am 12 years old, but have been singing for my whole life, and I have been waiting for this although my mom doesn't exactly want to move to Orlando in order to get a record deal, well maybe she would. But I live in Fort Wayne, IN and there isn't even a studio within 100 miles from here!!! If you have any answers to my problem or have something to add, E-mail me.

I would just like to say that i completely agree about the TransCon talent search being very unfair and sexist. I was checking out the rules myself and was disgusted when it limited the eligible contestants to males over 18. It is supposedly a talent search...girls have talent too! If the rules were going to be what they are, they should have called it a Boy Band search, cuz thats what it seems like to me.I'm glad the BSB left TransCon cuz this proves even more that all theyre interested in is getting money from teenage girls who will swoone at any one of their "productions". I think this makes TransContinental look bad, at least it does in my eyes, and I'm sure in the eyes of many other hopeful aspiring female singers as well. Ashleigh
