Now first of all, I'd like to congratulate the Backstreet Boys on their BIG success with their new album "Millennium" and on their even BIGGER success with their "Into the Millennium" tour. I've got 4 words for you, BSB... YOU GUYS DESERVE IT!!!!! And I guess I should also congratulate all the loyal fans for their wonderful taste in music and for all their support for the BSB... You're the best, and I do mean YOU, each and every one of you...

Now I'm one of the slightly older fans (I'd like to think of 21 as "slightly older"...) and I was thinking today about a few things that I believe should be said, for what it's worth... After "Millennium" hit the market, I (and another so and so million people) have been experiencing what you could call "Millennium Syndrome". This condition can be identified with a few common symptoms:

a- you listen to Millennium over and over and over and over 24/7.

b- you die every time IWITW is on TV.

c- you couldn't wait till the Larger than Life video came out (which I still haven't seen by the way but I hear it is VERY GOOD)

d- you simply can not wait for their next CD

I'm sure many of you can relate to that...

Anyway, I was saying, after I heard Millennium for the first time, that was it... I would listen to it ALL THE TIME. So after the first 10,000 times I heard Millennium, I thought that "Millennium" was definitely way better than "Backstreet's Back", or is it???????

Today I listened to Backstreet's Back again and I realized that Backstreet's Back is in no way inferior to Millennium. It's the same sound but in a different mold, older, more mature. And that's only natural. The boys have grown and so has their music... What makes Millennium really special is how you can hear each and every one of the boys sing, especially Kevin and Howie.... In Backstreet's Back the five voices blend to make one sound and every once in a while somebody got a solo, but (and to my disappointment) it was never Howie or Kevin. So I guess Millennium really did those two justice. Howie has such a beautiful, passionate voice and Kevin's voice so deep, so rich... Kevin, you should get more solos!!!!! Nobody is saying that there's anything wrong with Brian, AJ or Nick's voice, because there isn't... Brian and that heaven-sent voice, well what can I say??? AJ's voice has definitely changed. Now it's deeper and more beautiful than ever before. And Nick's voice has definitely changed. Now it's older and more mature. The bottom line is our five precious precious boys once again manage to amaze us with their endless talent!!!!

I guess that about sums up everything I wanted to say. I hope I haven't bored you half to death by now. Anyway, feel free to email me (knajjar16@hotmail.com) if you have any comments or criticism. I'm looking forward to that. KTBSPA and God Bless....
