July 27, 1999 BY JAE-HA KIM STAFF REPORTER [This actually happened a couple of months ago although the Sun-Times carried it on the 27'th of July] Backstreet Boys fans take note. Teen People tagged along with heartthrob Kevin Richardson as he realized his dream to fly with the Blue Angels. Richardson said when the U.S. Navy offered one of the Boys the opportunity, they all knew he would be the one to go up, up and away. "The guys know about my flying dreams," Richardson says in the article. "Eventually I'm going to get my private license. Everybody asked, `Is that dangerous?' I was like, `They're trained military pilots. I'm in the safest hands possible!' " FYI: Richardson didn't pass out, but he did make good use of the "party" bags. Comment on this item.
