$100,000 Donation of Musical Instruments To Benefit San Diego Area School Children Pop superstar AJ McClean of the Backstreet Boys will join officials from Cox Communications, VH1 Save The Music and the San Diego Unified School District to announce the donation of $100,000 worth of instruments for the restoration of music education programs at San Diego area schools. Wilson Middle School and Keiller Middle School to benefit from donation of musical instruments.

WHEN: Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2002 10 a.m. (media check-in at 9:30 a.m.)

WHAT: The VH1 Save the Music Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the quality of education in America's public schools by restoring instrumental music education programs in cities across the U.S. and raising public awareness about the importance of music participation for our nation's youth.
