Date: Mar 31, 2001 HostTPZena: Good evening, everyone! I'm Zena from teenpeople.com, and we're so pleased to have Aaron Carter in the office to chat with us tonight! Aaron has a Disney special airing this Friday, and he's about to start a stint on Broadway in the hit musical “Seussical.” Hello, Aaron! Aaron Carter: Hello... how's everyone doing? Nice to see you! HostTPZena: We'll get right into the questions. From MinMin04: Question: If you could choose to do a song with any artist, dead or alive, who would it be? Aaron Carter: Elvis, because it would just be a cool experience. It's just something that came to my head. HostTPZena: What song would you want to do? Aaron Carter: "Twist and Shout." HostTPZena: From IXIsuthernhottie: Question: Aaron, do you know when you're having a new album come out? Or are you working on recording it now? Aaron Carter: Yes. We finished about seven songs, and it'll be out around the same time as the last album -- September. HostTPZena: What's it like? Aaron Carter: It's a little different. Most of it is rapping. There's one or two ballads. There's a song with my brother -- a duet -- it's called "Oh, Aaron." HostTPZena: From KissesforBSB87: Question: Aaron, what's your favorite type of car? Aaron Carter: '67 Shelby Mustang GT 500. Silver and gray, or yellow. HostTPZena: From Babyzdoll2004: Question: When did you know you wanted to be a singer? Aaron Carter: When I was about three years old -- when I could barely talk and make up my mind about whether I wanted to jump in the pool or not. HostTPZena: How did you finally get into it? Aaron Carter: My brother encouraged me -- just watching him, it helped me a lot to inspire me to sing. HostTPZena: From Bballbaby4: Question: Hey, Aaron, I have a question: Would you ever date a fan? If so, what is the highest age group? Aaron Carter: Yes -- 17. HostTPZena: From Katgrl9424: Question: Aaron, are you dating Hillary Duff from Lizzie McGuire? Are the rumors true? Aaron Carter: I have lots of girlfriends, but I'm not really locked down. HostTPZena: From ACgal12: Question: Is "My Internet Girl" about someone in real life? Aaron Carter: No, but I'm pretty sure that you girls would want it to be right now. HostTPZena: From Nickat87: Question: What is your idea of "the perfect fan"? Aaron Carter: It doesn't really matter -- they just have to be nice. HostTPZena: From Samantha: Question: Did you have a good time at the Disney concert that you did with Samantha Mumba? Aaron Carter: Yes. I had a great time, because she's nice. Plus, it's with my brother -- he's in the beginning in an acting thing we do with me and him and Samantha Mumba. HostTPZena: From Amburger8431: Question: Does meeting fans interfere with your schoolwork? What do you do about tutoring? Aaron Carter: I have a tutor that comes on the road, and most of the time, the fans don't really interfere. HostTPZena: From MonKeeZ000: Question: What is the most scary thing that a fan has ever done to you? Aaron Carter: Charged at me -- luckily, my bodyguard Richard saved my life. HostTPZena: From BabyG19992000: Question: How do you and the rest of your family see each other? Your sister has a record deal and Nick's always touring. Aaron Carter: They just come on the road every once in a while to see me. HostTPZena: From DirTAnGEL21: Question: Aaron, what cc dirtbike do you have? What is your worst crash? Aaron Carter: I have a 250. The worst crash I had is when I tried to complete a backflip in the air on a motorcycle and didn't do it -- my head got caught between the fender and back wheel, and somehow the throttle started to rev, which made the tire go faster. I got two stitches in the back of my head -- deep, deep wounds. HostTPZena: From Emms7486: Question: Hi, my name is Emma, and I was wondering how long you were going to be in the show “Seussical.” Thanx. ***Emma Aaron Carter: For about four or five weeks -- April 4 through May 6. HostTPZena: How did you get involved in that? Aaron Carter: My character is JoJo -- I'm the co-lead. HostTPZena: What made you want to do Broadway? Aaron Carter: Just something different. I've never experienced it before, so I auditioned for it and I got it. HostTPZena: From Kimberly: Question: When did you get your ear pierced? Aaron Carter: I don't have it anymore because it got infected, but I got it pierced in England about two years ago. HostTPZena: From Adam: Question: Who is your favorite boy band? Aaron Carter: *NSYNC, because they've always been cool to me. But the Backstreet Boys are still my top #1 always. HostTPZena: We're chatting with Aaron Carter. Aaron Carter: I can do freestyle most of the time -- Superman -- I can do a tail grab. I'm still working on a backflip. A heel kick. A spider jump. HostTPZena: From Ashley: Question: What do you do in your spare time? Aaron Carter: Ride motocross and just have fun. HostTPZena: Do you do that in NYC? Aaron Carter: No -- I just play video games here. I play a lot of Mario games and Zelda. HostTPZena: From Britneysnotlucky: Question: What's your favorite band besides Journey? Aaron Carter: Nobody. It's all Journey. HostTPZena: From JrTsSwEeTAnGel18: Question: Hey, Aaron, I just wanted to know if you're going to go on a world tour anytime soon -- to maybe Japan? Also your music totally rocks, and I think you're so cute! :) Your fan, Mary*grace. Aaron Carter: That's my next tour. This summer, I'm touring the US and Canada. HostTPZena: What was your last tour like? Aaron Carter: It was fun. It was cool. I liked it. HostTPZena: From Lancelady2000: Question: Hey, Aaron -- wasssup? I was wondering if you will be greeting your fans when you perform in “Seussical.” Aaron Carter: Probably -- you have to come see the show to see. HostTPZena: From Doxiewing3: Question: Aaron, do you ever get tired of dancing and singing all the time? Aaron Carter: Yes.
