Date: Jan 06, 2001 Source: Star Mag issue 6 Submitted By: www.backstreetuk.com AJ + Brian Backstreet make their big screen debut in Olive Juice alongside Leighanne Wallace Keen no doubt to fulfil his role of dutiful husband, we can reveal that BSB Brian will be making a cameo appearance in his newly-wed's latest low-budget movie Olive Juice. And he's even dragged poor old AJ with him. A romantic comedy, the plot revolves around a girl-next-door character (Leighanne) who while visiting her ailing mother in Orlando, falls in love with a pet shop owner. When quizzed about the BSB involvement, Leighanne revealed that AJ will appear as a DJ, while Brian will be playing "a trainee horse-and-buggy driver." Commenting on her hubby's debut acting role she swooned "He's adorable!" But the family connections don't end there; the canine lead in OJ has been taken by none other than Mr and Mrs B-Rok's very own pet chihuahua Lil Tyk. Apparently Lil Tyk's long-awaited acting debut almost never happened. As victims of an obsessed fan, the celebrity pooch and his companion Litty Leigh were both dognapped from the couple's home in Atlanta. Brian was left "distraught". However, following a desperate plea or their return, both animals were recovered, hungry but unhyarmed. Furthemore we can also reveal that a BSB track will be appearing on the OJ soundtrack. Leighanne and Brian have been avidly working together on the musical score. "Brian has taught me a lot about writing music," Leighanne told us. However, fans shouldn't get too excited just yet; a UK release date for the film is still to be confirmed. Comment on this item.
