The video for “The Call” will be like no other BSB video before! The Boys were shooting in Los Angeles for 4 days, (well, 4 nights actually as call times were around 8:00pm and went on until 8:00am.) The video features an appearance by Outkast, who have done several remixes of the song. (The video is being shot to one of the remixed versions and not the album version.) The Boys get to act out their action movie fantasies. Kevin jumps through a window to escape from a girl, Brian runs on the streets at night (again, chased by a girl) while objects are falling on him, AJ jumps out of a moving car and jumps down from a freeway overpass and Howie gets to hang from a pole. (Speaking of Howie, he is sporting burgundy stripes in his hair and was wearing red leather pants looking very hot!. AJ’s hair is black again and in cornrows.) MTV will premiere “The Call” on January 18, right after TRL in a brand new Making The Video episode.

The video shoot is not the only big BSB news this week, as it was officially announced the Boys will be singing the national anthem at the Superbowl on January 28, 2001. Legendary Ray Charles will perform before the Boys, singing “America The Beautiful” and then air force bombers and Thunderbirds will circle the stadium. The field will be covered in red, white and blue flags. And the half-time entertainment will be N’Sync, so how’s that for an awesome double bill that night!?! The Boys were originally asked to do the half-time show, but had to decline because of tour commitments.

AJ is producing/managing a brand new artist called Tracey. We’ve heard she is gorgeous with an amazing voice. Also, Teenscenemag.com will have an exclusive with the first artist signed to the boys label and the opening act on the "Black & Blue World Tour," Krystal.
