Brian is asking fans to donate cash to the good cause after setting up his Healthyheartclub.org website. The hunky singer has himself had open-heart surgery to correct a ventricular septal defect (VSD), the most common congenital heart condition. Brian explains, "The reason I started this club was to benefit children in need, to boost kids' confidence, and to give them a way to feel better about themselves, and to provide some funding for research for heart deficiencies. "We want the club to be a place where they feel they truly belong, and where they can learn that active is good. In most cases, a child born with a heart deficiency would automatically think they just could not be active." Jackie Littrell, Brian's mum and financial manager, says, "It's precious, just precious.
