Backstreet Boys are coming to the UK to write songs for their next album, after a similar jaunt to the Bahamas recently.

The five began work on the follow up to Millennium last month, spending two weeks writing tracks at a luxury resort in the Bahamas. After the trip worldpop caught up with AJ and Howie D and you can see the full interview later today right here on worldpop.

'We just got back from the Bahamas where we took our very first writing trip together,' AJ explained. 'We were down there for about 12 days and we got about eight songs done that we wrote and produced ourselves. I think every song we did should be on the album, we got a lot of good stuff done.'

AJ said the trip was so successful the boys plan to replicate it again soon, this time using Britain as inspiration. 'We're gonna do it again next soon in the UK,' the singer told worldpop. 'It was a bonding thing for us because, besides touring, we haven't really done anything fun with just us five without our management, without our press people. There were no producers or anybody around us telling us what to do.'
