It's a basketball game involving two teams (yup, BSB fans vs. *NSYNC fans) and it's all to raise awareness and support for the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Larell McCaffrey is organizing the entire event. She has arranged things with JIVE and the Center. Backstreet.net is sponsoring the BSB team by donating team jerseys and merchandise for raffles.

The whole sha-bang is going down on July 9, 2000, from 12 - 4pm in Poughkeepsie, NY, an hour or so north of the New York City area.

Some other cool stuff that'll be there:

  • For children, there will be free fingerprinting service.

  • A raffle table for lots of BSB & *NSYNC related prizes (exclusive CDs, concerts tickets)

  • A bake sale table (that means Nick & Justin gingerbread cookie men!)

  • There will be a "boy band" called Unlimited playing during half time, doing both *NSYNC and BSB covers as well as one of their own.

It's sure to be a LOT of fun. The event will be documented on video and pictures will be provided so you can check out how it went! None of the guys from either groups will be there (aww..) but they'll definitely appreciate all the dedication and support from their fans!
