Question:

Could you please tell me every single the Backstreet Boys have released here in Australia abd also how they went? Also, what happened to the BSB Christmas Album? I looked at every music store and it wasn't there!

Hitman:

Well, "underwear," the Backstreet Boys actually had quite a few singles before they were famous in Australia, and it took even longer for them to make it big in America. Below is a listing of their Australian singles, with the highest chart positions and date of chart peak. (Please note: "I'll Never Break Your Heart" was released as a single here years after its original release, after it was included on their American re-packaged album.)

1. Get Down (You Are The One For Me) - No. 44 28/01/96

2. We've Got It Goin' On - No. 74, 16/12/96

3. Quit Playing Games (With My Heart) - No. 27, 19/05/97

4. Everybody (Backstreet's Back) - No. 3, 08/12/97

5. As Long As You Love Me - No. 2, 12/01/98

6. All I Have To Give - No. 4, 23/03/98

7. I'll Never Break Your Heart, No. 10, 07/09/98

8. I Want It That Way - No. 2, 31/05/99

9. Larger Than Life - No. 3, 04/10/99

10. Show Me The Meaning of Being Lonely - still charting

As for that BSB Christmas album, it was planned but the boys apparently ran out of time and didn't finish it - so it hasn't been released yet, and there's no word of when, or if, it will be. Maybe this year? Here's hoping!
