Is it real life, or just fantasy? The upcoming MTV made-for-TV movie "2gether" is likely to keep viewers guessing. Directed by Nigel Dick, "2gether" is a dead-on sendup of boy-band culture, centered on the story of Bob Buss, the embittered ex-manager of fictitious chart-topping group Whoa!

After being fired by Whoa!, Buss assembles new group 2gether in an attempt to dethrone his former protégés from the pinnacles of superstardom. The movie debuts Feb. 21 on MTV; the soundtrack is set for a Feb. 15 release on TVT.

In an attempt to make the accompanying music as authentic as possible, the producers of "2gether" enlisted top pop songwriters, including Viet Renn, who has penned tracks for 'N Sync and Backstreet Boys. Among the songs featured on the show and soundtrack are "You're My Baby Girl," "U + Me = Us (Calculus)," and Whoa!'s "Rub One Out."
