Q: Keith, I was informed that the new Backstreet Boys single, "I Want It That Way," was to be released on April 12. The music store I went to had no idea what I was talking about. It was supposed to be the first single off their new album due out on May 18. Do you know anything about it? Marklon W. Mann A: Marklon, "I Want It That Way" is indeed the first track released to radio stations from the Backstreet Boys' forthcoming album, "Millennium." The Jive disc is due out May 18. At this point, the commercial single release of "I Want It That Way" is pending, but no release date has been set. The group's self-titled debut peaked at No. 4 on The Billboard 200 and has sold more than 7.8 million units, according to SoundScan. "I Want It That Way" debuted at No. 72 on The Billboard Hot 100 for the week ending April 24.
