I received this message from the Interactive Site producer of WABC-TV: I am writing on behalf of WABC-TV in New York. We have been receiving e-mail about a series called Countdown to the Millenium that we are supposedly doing about the Backstreet Boys. We have never announced such a series and the only report we aired, you have the transcript of on your site. We'd appreciate it if you would correct this erroneous information on your site regarding a series, since it is misleading BSB fans. Sincerely, Terri Brandes Interactive Site Producer WABC-TV Terri also mentioned that she "was shocked to see the transcript of 6-part series which is a complete fabrication." My source insisted that they were for real and suggested that WABC-TV would deny running the series because of complications arising from being an ABC affiliate. The WABC-TV transcript of an interview with Nick from last fall, is however authentic. I apologize for posting this misleading information. Comment on this item.
