- Date: Apr 06, 2099 The Backstreet Boys just finished shooting a video at the Los Angeles International Airport for their upcoming single "I Want It That Way" late last week. The video will feature mainly performance footage and is being directed by Wayne Isham, who previously helmed Ricky Martin's "Livin' La Vida Loca" and 98 Degrees' "The Hardest Thing." It is expected to air in early May. The single, due out on April 12 worldwide, will be the first cut released off "Millennium," the follow-up to the band's self-titled debut, which recently received the Diamond Award for U.S. sales of over 10 million units. At the Los Angeles premiere for the film "Never Been Kissed," the group's Kevin Richardson spoke to MTV News about what we can expect from the new album. "It's definitely the Backstreet Boys," he said. "We haven't gone hardcore alternative rock or anything. It's the Backstreet Boys sound, just more good music. Hopefully our fans are going to love it." "Millennium" is expected to hit store shelves on May 18 and will be followed by a world tour. Dates and opening acts have yet to be announced. We'll keep you posted.
