[Note from Cailin: I read somewhere that Millennium was the most misspelled word of 1998]
According to Wall of Sound, I found out the new album will include tracks such
as "That's What She Said", "Back to Your Heart", and "Perfect Fan." So it
looks like the US album will have *different* tracks from the international
version (there's no way TWSS will be on the third album again)!
The second article I found is from a British music news website. It said that
no release date has been released yet for the UK, so the Europeans (and
perhaps Canadians) may get it earlier or later than May 18th. Since the World
Tour starts in June and the European "Millennium" CD contains different
tracks, it is possible that Jive might produce the international version
before the US version. So maybe they will get it a week or two earlier. But
these are just my speculations only!!
Possible tracks on "Millennium" include:
1. I'll Be the One
2. Show Me the Meaning of Being Lonely
3. I Need You Tonight
4. Who Do You Love
5. Back to Your Heart
6. Perfect Fan
7. That's What She Said(US only)
8. By Your Side
9. Where Do We Go From Here (According to Tommy Smith, this will most likely not be on the new CD)
10. My Heart Stays with You
11. Treat Me Right (f/ Foxy Brown)
12. Sacred Trust (I think that's the song the Bee Gees wrote for BSB- not sure
though)
The article said the BSB did a lot of work with Max Martin, Mutt Lange, and
Steve Lipson, so there's probably a dozen new BSB songs that none of us fans
have even heard of yet. Like the British article said, the new album has been
"top secret."
Please keep in mind that 2 more songs are in need to be recorded.
"Perfect Fan" and another done by AJ and band member Billy. The U.S. Version of
"Millenium" will come with "That's What She Said" since it was not on the
U.S. Debut album. It was however, on the 2nd Internatioinal Release of
Backstreet's Back.

upcoming album! I HEARD that there are still 2 songs to record! Don't
quote me on any of this but I have heard this from many places! Some of

Please note that this was compiled at the end of December
- The BSB are all writing at least one song for the album, if not more. No word yet whether they are producing any tracks, but the guys are writing.
- Kevin worked with Gary Baker (composer of All-4-One's 'I Swear') and they wrote the song titled 'Back To My Heart'. It may be to the music that Kevin wrote and has been performing on tour.
- Brian wrote a song called 'The Perfect Fan'. This is the song that was written for the Backstreet Boys' mothers. Kevin said "It's a really nice song that Brian wrote..."
- "I Need You Tonight" is scheduled to be on the album, featuring a new sound that is being heard on the samples. It is mainly going to be sung by Nick.
- "I'll Be The One" and "Show Me The Meaning" are going to be on the album and "I'll Be The One" may be the first single from the next album.
- Howie also worked with Gary Baker on a song and there is no word on what the title of it is as of now.
- A.J.'s poetry is possibly going to be on the album, Kevin said "I don't know, maybe we can do something like Jim Morrison, with the Doors!"
- Some of Backstret Boys' old material is being considered for the new album. Such songs as 'That's What She Said', '10,000 Promises' and 'Roll With It' are being looked at. Also, 'Who Do You Love?' and 'Where Do We Go From Here' have good chances of being on the album.
- No word yet on who's going to be on the album, but the guys are looking at working with several artists.
- There is speculation that Dianne Warren has composed a song for the Backstreet Boys album.
- The guys want the album out by March 23 or April 6th at the latest.
