Shania's hissyfit stuns the Boys

SHANIA Twain put on quite a show during the recent taping of her prime-time special. The country crooner was in Fort Lauderdale to shoot concert footage for the show set to air in March. The special features two special guests: Elton John and teen sensations the Backstreet Boys. While scenes with John were to be shot separately, the Backstreet Boys arrived to perform their next single, then duet with Twain on her latest hit, From This Moment On. But most folks in the audience were teenage girls who only cared about the Backstreet Boys. Producers had to tell the girls to keep their "I Love You, Backstreet Boys!" signs down and out of the way until the guys were actually introduced. But their shrieking still shut out Shania, says a show insider. When the Boys attempted their duet with Twain, they had some trouble hitting some of the high notes. According to our insider, Shania promptly threw a fit on stage: Talk about a diva. Shania was absolutely livid. Twain's mood only grew worse when execs told her she'd have to redo another number because of technical difficulties. That news prompted another Twain tantrum. Sexy Shania couldn't have cheered up much later. As soon as the Backstreet Boys left the set, half the crowd got up to go.
