BSB mentioned in SNL Skit (January '99)

On Saturday, January 16, the Backstreet Boys were mentioned, along with 'N Sync, in a skit for Saturday Night Live. The skit, about a show on the Disney Channel on teen heartthrobs (I think they called the show Teen Beat, I could be wrong), had a group called "7 Degrees Celsius" and they sang 2 songs, one of which was called "Consummate our Love". The announcer said, "Move over, Backstreet Boys, here come 7 Degrees Celsius!" Also, one of the characters in the band, played by James Van Der Beek, bore a rather striking resemblance to Nick. He had the same hair and attitude and everything. A character played by Chris Kattan tried to imitate either Howie or AJ, one or the other, I can't tell because he did it so badly.
