Brian & Kevin's Grandfather rumored to have died last week

At first the boys didn't want to perform that night but for whatever reason they did. This is a preliminary report. If you have further information then please email me. Please remember that this story has not been confirmed. Sources LuvnMyKaos@aol.com emailed me the following: I heard that one of Brian and Kevin's grandparents died recently. They were going to cancel their August 27 concert at Nassau Coliseum, but they didn't. I was actually at that concert and I noticed that Brian wasn't the same as other performances I have seen live. I thought that maybe he just wasn't feeling good, or was tired. But I heard that news tonight. I also heard that AJ it really helps him to be on stage, with all of the fans. Just thought you should know! On Tuesday, September 8 magarcia@databasedm.es from Spain also emailed me with the news stating that she read it in a Spanish magazine called "VALE". On Thursday, September 10 RaeLynn wrote me to say: Yes, this is true. I live in kentucky and my grandfather was at the funeral. Just thought I'd tell you! On Saturday, September 12 Sarah sent this in: After the Halifax NS concert, Brian and Kevin went to the airport to go home. They chartered a private jet for $20,000. Their grandfather must have died either on the 24'th or 25'th of August. On Saturday, September 12 Sweet D sent this in: Their grandfather died of a stroke. Others have written me to say that they don't believe it because they would have expected the Boys to have said something, or dedicate their award to him that they received for best group video at the recent MTV Music Awards. On Sunday, September 13 Caitlin sent me this: That thing about Kevin and Brian's grandfather is true. I went to a concert and they started late! So at the end of the concert my mom asked why this guy said 2 of the BSB's had to fly here from a funeral! And I swear this is TRUE!! I am not lying! The concert date was 8/27/98 and I was in the 33rd row on the floor! Is that enough proof? I am not lying! On Sunday, October 18 Marshall Gemal sent me this: I went to the 8/27/98 concert. My friend asked the security guard if the backstreet boys were still in the building (after the concert). He said they had to rush out quickly because they got news that Kevin & Brian's grandfather past away :-( On Monday, October 19 Jennifer Christie sent me this: The only info I have regarding this rumour is that it is true but I am unsure whether or not it was their grandmother or their grandfather. A person that my Mom knows dates a guy that was working as a driver for the BSB in Halifax the day before and the day of their Aug 25 concert. Apparently, immediately following the concert he had to drive Kevin and Brian to the airport due to the death of a grandparent. Comment on this item.
