- ![]() Date: Mar 27, 2002 By Tanya Jensen Fashion Wire Daily LA - Vanity Fair kicked off the first installation in their seemingly week-long Oscar party marathon on Monday night at L.A. hotspot Les Deux Café. Guests including designer Jeremy Scott, Paris Hilton and beau Bradley, Downtown Julie Brown, Bill Moyer and the Backstreet Boys' Kevin Richardson drank champagne and mingled in the lush outdoor café listening to the dulcet tones of New York designer Benjamin Cho on the decks. If that wasn't enough to satisfy, Aveda was on hand offering complimentary hair touch ups, make up and hand and head massages. "My head and my face, they're my favorite places to get massaged," Richardson explained to FWD as a diligent Aveda pro massaged his hands. Kevin came to the party with his wife and the directors of the foundation he set up, called Just Within Reach. "I started the foundation for a few different reasons," Richardson said. "My father died of cancer and I think the reason was the air that we breathe, the food that we eat is so polluted. 'Just Within Reach' is an environmental organization. I think it's important for young people to be aware of what we are doing to the world and ourselves."
