Jennifer Lopez faces off against Britney Spears for female musical performer while *NSYNC goes head-to-head with boy-band rival the Backstreet Boys for the title of musical group. Country diva Faith Hill is also up for female musical performer and the Dixie Chicks will try to wield their girl power against the boys for the musical group category.
