- Date: Sep 26, 2001 Atlantan Brian Littrell and his cousin and fellow Backstreet Boy member Kevin Richardson popped into a marathon radio fund-raiser for New York relief last week in Detroit to sing "God Bless America." The group reports that it has also incorporated the patriotic tune into its live act, in honor of its tour supervising carpenter, Daniel John Lee, who perished when the plane he was traveling in hit the World Trade Center. According to the group, Lee was traveling to Los Angeles to be with his wife, who was about to give birth.
