Si lo que el promotor José Dueño dice es correcto, entonces el 19 y 20 de mayo el quinteto de chicos que más discos venden en el mundo realizará dos presentaciones en el Estadio Hiram Birthorn. Todo surge luego de que durante la presentación del pasado sábado en la noche de Sting en el Bithorn, producida por Dueño, hubo varios anuncios en los intermedios que decían: "Pronto en Puerto Rico los Backstreet Boys." Durante el intermedio de la presentación de Soraya, antes de que subiera a tarima Sting, nos encontramos con el promotor cerca de los kioskos de venta y le preguntamos a cerca de la presentación de los Backstreet Boys y nos dijo: "Será el 19 y 20 de mayo aquí en el Bithorn. Antes de que Sting salga a cantar voy a subir a la tarima y haré el anuncio oficial." Pero Dueño nunca salió a la tarima a realizar el anuncio. Esto dejó una estela de dudas al respecto, ya que no es la primera vez que un promotor dice que presentará a los Backstree Boys en la Isla. Ya PRPC Concerts dijo hace más de un año que los chicos harían una presentación aquí para su disco "Millennium," que nunca se dio. Veremos si ahora se da, máxime cuando el disco "Black and Blue" ya ha vendido cerca de 9 millones de copias en los Estados Unidos. Sería el tercer disco consecutivo del quinteto en sobrepasar las 10 millones de copias (Disco de Diamante) en los Estados Unidos. English translation: Are the Backstreet Boys coming to Puerto Rico?
