If you haven’t checked out the Backstreet Project on www.backstreetproject.com you are seriously missing out on one of the biggest success stories in cyberspace. The Backstreet Boys live animation short movies (new episode every week) are proving to be a massive worldwide hit. The site according to Stan Lee Media (legendary Stan Lee created these Backstreet Superheroes with Nick Carter) has already had 40 million hits and that is only since August!

Only a few more days before “Black&Blue” is released (November 21) and you might consider picking up your copy from your local Wal-Mart store, as Wal-Mart offers a version of “Black&Blue” that has a bonus track on it called “What Makes You Different (Makes You Beautiful)”. This Howie -penned song is a beautiful ballad the Boys were working on during their recording sessions in the Bahamas. Also on November 21, Wal-Mart stores will be airing special BSB live performances throughout the day. You can also log on to www.wal-mart.com that week to check out those exclusive performances. Currently the Boys are putting together a band to tour with starting next January, and according to early reports, such favorite BSB band members as Tommy Smith and Mindi Abair are not going to be seen on stage with the Boys this time around.

After taping a live performance for the CBS Early Morning show in New York City (Backstreet wives and girlfriends actually helping fans to take good pics of the Boys!) the Boys flew to London, England where they held a special record signing at Virgin Megastore and after that it’ll be the European MTV Awards in Stockholm, Sweden. Speaking of awards the Teen Scene Awards are running until Nov. 30 and the Backstreet Boys are nominated in 7 categories, the winners are of course picked by the fans so go vote @ www.teenscenemag.com
