- ![]() Date: Nov 14, 2000 Live Shape Of My Heart performance on worldpop Backstreet Boys arrived in the UK on Thursday for two days of whirlwind promotion, which kicked off with a signing at Piccadilly's Virgin Megastore last night. In honour of their visit, worldpop presents an exclusive live performance of their new single, Shape Of Your Heart. http://www.worldpop.com/streaming/video/videos/b/BackStreetBoys_ShapeOfMy.ram A quick press conference preceded last night's signing, at which the band professed their love of the London autumn. 'The leaves are all over the ground!' exclaimed Nick Carter, before having their say on the current battle for US president. Howie Dorough spoke out in support for Republican candidate George W Bush, but Kevin Richardson and AJ McLean quickly disagreed, stating they would vote for Democrat Al Gore because, 'Bush is a clown.' The guys added they hoped the London signing, at which hundreds of fans queued outside the store hoping to catch a glimpse of the band, would push their single Shape Of Your heart to the No 1 spot. It's currently resting at No 3 on the midweek sales chart, behind a1 and Westlife.
