Another Aussie chance to meet the Boys

Date: Nov 06, 2000 Source: Australian Fan Club Submitted By: Sue M Jive Records are giving 2 Australian fans the opportunity to present the Backstreet Boys with a plaque at the Sydney press conference to be held Sunday November 19, 2000. How do you win? You have to show us at Jive Records why you are the biggest fan in Australia! You will also have to prove and document this. Here are some suggestions Get a newspaper or TV show to do a story on how you are the biggest fan and what effect this has on your day to day life. Make a 'super' banner promoting the Backstreet Boys and get it seen in the most public place you can. An example would be to take it to a sporting event that is televised and get the camera to take a shot of it. (Remember that all attempts must remain within the confines of the law and safety as disregard for either will disqualify your entry) Ring up any radio station you can think of from Talk Back to Hot 30 shows and talk about the Backstreet Boys and their upcoming visit. Tape all your efforts and send them in. Hold a local fan event to celebrate the upcoming visit from the Backstreet Boys. Make sure whatever you do gets our attention! Conditions of entry We want your entries to be creative but all must fall within the confines of the Law and safety as Jive Records accepts no responsibility and entries in violation will be disqualified. The prize as stated earlier will be to be present the Backstreet Boys with a plaque for records sales in Australia at the VIP Press Conference in Sydney on Sunday November 19, 2000. A commemorative photo will also be taken. All winners are responsible for their own travel arrangements and accommodation, as the competition does not cover this. The winners will be allowed one guardian or friend into the press conference on the day but only the winner will present the Backstreet Boys.
